    Joel was a great server very knowledgeable and funny. We started with the tuna tartare and it was amazing. My fiancé had the ribeye and it was cooked perfectly and seasoning was great. I had the scallops which were pretty good too the grapefruit taste wasn’t my favorite but they were still delicious. We split the sweet corn and the lobster mashed potatoes which were both great. The dinner was taking a while to come out and much to our surprise Joel brought us out two lobster bisque soups on the house for the wait. Service was above and beyond. Will be back

    My overall experience was great. My only gripe is that our order took longer than expected to arrive at our table. I understand that it takes time to prepare meals of high caliber but normally when we visit Eddie V’s for special occasions our food usually arrives to our table faster. Our waiter was very courteous and continued to check on me and my guest.

    We visited Eddie Vs' for the first time for my birthday last week. We had a 6pm reservation on a Monday evening. We arrived 20 minutes early and they offered to seat us right away. From the first minute of being seated, our waitress was attentive and really sweet. She was knowledgeable and offered recommendations when we asked about menu items. And she did not steer us wrong! We ordered way more than we could possibly eat, and took about half of it home, including desserts. The food was amazing, the interior is beautifully decorated, and the staff was great. We will definitely be back soon.

    Had an amazing dinner! Kat was our waitress and she was so great. Very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at every step of the meal! Highly recommend this place for any occasion!

    When I lived in Chicago Eddie V's was our go-to restaurant. Sooo happy to find one here in Tampa. THE most perfect restaurant anywhere!

    If you haven’t had dinner at a high top in the bar on a Friday night, you’re missing out. Excellent music and the usual spectacular menu make for a great experience. If you can request Dionna as your server, you should. Money well spent.

    We have eaten at Eddie V's several times. The food is always good, though pricey. We made reservations and requested a booth upon arrival, as we were there for a business meeting and they seated us by a very large party and at a table in the main stream of traffic. We were denied the booth, though booths were available. Due to that, I will not schedule business meetings there anymore. It's way too loud and uncomfortable.

    Food was complex and amazing. After several visits, everything I’ve had is awesome. Our server was amazing and turned us on to some great other local restaurants of different types. It’s sometimes a bit loud but the live music is fantastic. 2 tacos for $27 is a little much even though the flavor was great.

    It was very upsetting that I have been several times at this restaurant and was given probably the worst table in the restaurant in a area full of kids bright lights it was horrible we approached several people regarding this and nothing was done. I felt like i wasted 400 dollars for not a great experience.

    Food and service, outstanding, but you knew that. Dress code not enforced which was disappointing. One man walked past us in a muscle shirt, many in sloppy t-shirts. I probably won’t come back because I can’t stand seeing a bunch of slobs around me, especially when I made a point to be well attired.

    Amazing birthday dinner for my husband in the middle of a hurricane. Felipe our server was exceptional. We got the tomahawk steak and the king crab legs and both were just extraordinary. Will be back soon!

    Best restaurant in Tampa in my opinion. The ambiance is fantastic and it seems like they have all bases covered both in the food choices and the restaurant setting. Also the bar is huge if you want to eat and drink there .

    Love the restaurant. Only issue is the band that plays is too loud for dinner conversation. Their performance is outstanding. Just a tad loud!!! But over all we love everything about the restaurant. We had the Sea Bass and it was excellent!!

    Service was excellent. Food was good but not worth the price. They do not cater for celiac GF although the waiter did ask and gave my celiac son a cookie with his dessert! There is much better fine dining restaurants that cost less in Tampa. I decreased the overall rating due to our drinks. Has to be the worst cocktails ever. I ordered a cosmopolitan which is a standard and very easy drink to make. The cosmo was so awful I couldn’t drink it. The waiter was great, apologized and removed the drink from our bill. Overall it was a nice evening but don’t think I will go back.

    Sadly - it’s what I feared. Many new great restaurants popping up in Tampa and all the best chefs and servers are flocking to new places. I was truly shocked at our experience. At first I thought it was just accidental, no big deal but as each entree or side came out I knew Eddie V’s Tampa was no longer the same. it’s not the first time- I gave it another try and that was tonight. I’m glad I did since I need to book a business dinner for 8 in 2 weeks. I’m sorry to those who really tried. I know our server did the best she could but I noticed even she was not given the proper guidance or help from the team to give her tables the best she could. The steaks we good but not like they used to be which was melt in your mouth like butter.

    Eddie V’s is too notch make no mistake. I was disappointed with how long it took to get our food, but our waiter was more than accommodating. The food was amazing as usual, and the band is incredible. I love this place!!
