Eddie V's - Fort Worth Ratings and Reviews
I have been here 2 times, my new wife's birthday, and our 1 year wedding anniversary.
it is the epitome of excellence. from the hostess to the final dessert.
It is undoubtedly the nicest dining establishment I have been to in the city.
I go as much as I can for my income availability.
It is not inexpensive, so don't think you and a plus one will leave there with out spending 150.00 including gratuities.
but worth every penny invested. the seafood is un paralleled.
the steaks melt in your mouth, and the dessert and drinks are to die for.
the staff are all very professional, and treat you as royalty.
you won't be disappointed.
What an awesome dining experience! The service was exceptional and the staff - no complaints at all. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. Our waitress Riley was attentitive and made some wonderful recommendations for dinner and dessert. I had the sole with spinach and au gratin potatoes. Absolutely delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Money well spent!
It was a last minute decision after a singing engagement. We were a party of 9 and the service we received was outstanding. The food was awesome and everyone, minus three of us had never been there before. They all had high remarks about the food. Thank you
Love Rachel the piano player hear she is going to be discontinued due to one patron that says she is too loud in the bar -music in the bar is going to be loud occasionally -if you r looking for quiet music then maybe a funeral would better fit for those who don’t like great music.
Very disappointed in Eddie Vs and Cley the GM for taking her out of the music rotation.
We were here this past sat , 6 pm .
Sat in bar at high top tables . Carlos was out server . It seemed he was spread to thin to give the excellent service we usually always have here. When check came saw he charged 10.00 for Cosmo . I asked about as I believed it was 7.00 like my husbands drink . We both asked for happy Hr as did our friend.
He said No ..... it was not on happy hr.
Rather than argue , thought I would check today. Could u let us know if it's changed off happy hr menu plz?
Thx much , Doug and Lucy Judson
We had swordfish steak and filet and lobster and a glass a wine. Banana Foster for dessert. All superb. White jacket wait staff and expert service professionals roaming ensuring top service. Table cloths everywhere. Big wine list. We felt special here. A great place for fine dining. We want to go back already.
Excellent! on all counts. We were celebrating a special anniversary and were greeted with "Congratulations" and a special card on the table. Our waiter, Paul, was knowledgeable about the food, menu specials and especially the wine. We had a delightful conversation about various wines and favorites. The parmesan sole was perfect along with the sea bass. We were treated with a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal. The evening was perfect to celebrate our special event.
We made a reservation letting the restaurant know we were celebrating my father-in-law's birthday. They welcomed him with an enthusiastic "Happy birthday, sir!" when we arrived, a hand written note at our table, and complimentary bananas foster cake en flambe. We loved every second of this meal, and appreciated how much they went above and beyond to make him feel special!
Great Thanksgiving dinner! I don’t eat meat so my options are usually very limited on that day. They served a traditional meal and had their full menu available so I ordered lobster tacos, the Hawaiian yellow tail sashimi and the shrimp and crab chopped salad. Everything was amazing! Service was spot-on! Thanks for a great Thanksgiving meal!!
A very unfortunate experience as we have dined here many times and have always felt it was a 5 star experience but not this time. We made reservations a month in advance for Thanksgiving, we arrived 15 minutes early and were told they we running behind...45 minutes later a manager sees us in the bar and states "you have been waiting a long time. Are you waiting for someone?" We were not, he left and came back and stated our table was ready. We were sat in front of the beverage center, and it went downhill from there. Our waiter was polite but obviously irritated. It was not our fault whatever his issue was. We ordered the Thanksgiving meal, another 20 minute wait! The food was Ok but cold. We ordered dessert, another 20 minute wait, the pumpkin pie was awful!!! Never were we told why we waited 45 minutes for our table...nor was an apology given. We will never be back.
What a wonderful experience! We were there on Thanksgiving Day, the special dinner was delicious. Our service was excellent and loved that the it was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The noise level was good so you could have a nice conversation without raising your voice. We are looking forward to returning soon to try other dinners.
We have never had Thanksgiving outside our home and decided to try something different. I had been to Eddie V's before for seafood and was a little hesitant about eating a Thanksgiving meal there. The turkey was some of the best I have every ate. The service was impeccable and the desserts were phenomenal. We had to have something for seafood so we ordered a one pound lobster for an appetizer and it was outstanding. Needless to say I would highly recommend Eddie V's not only for seafood but for next years Thanksgiving.
Went for dinner had a bug crawl across table and used a knife to kill it. I asked for a paper napkin and removed it from the table. I didn’t make a big deal about it but thought they should know. I gave the napkin and quietly explained it to our waiter. I watched him give it to the manager. The waiter nor the manager acknowledged or apologized for the situation. Little disappointed in what used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Bugs and lack of apology are pitiful.
Had a wonderful meal of seated ahi and Augustine potatoes. Although the ahi looked a bit dark, it tasted great. They provided me with extra sauce I asked for. Bread was fresh and crust was crispy. Dessert was fantastic, I had the bananas foster cake. My companion is gluten sensitive & had a whole special menu to order from, which made her happy. Service was perfect.
