Eddie V's - Fort Worth Ratings and Reviews
Went for dinner had a bug crawl across table and used a knife to kill it. I asked for a paper napkin and removed it from the table. I didn’t make a big deal about it but thought they should know. I gave the napkin and quietly explained it to our waiter. I watched him give it to the manager. The waiter nor the manager acknowledged or apologized for the situation. Little disappointed in what used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Bugs and lack of apology are pitiful.
Had a wonderful meal of seated ahi and Augustine potatoes. Although the ahi looked a bit dark, it tasted great. They provided me with extra sauce I asked for. Bread was fresh and crust was crispy. Dessert was fantastic, I had the bananas foster cake. My companion is gluten sensitive & had a whole special menu to order from, which made her happy. Service was perfect.
we were enjoying a very nice dinner.....the salad, chowder, lemon sole and potaoes were very tatsy and Rob's service was wonderful as usual.....a few minutes before our entree was served, a party of four men were seated at the table that is closest to the booth we were seated in......they were quite loud! We ate as quickly as we could so we could get out....interesting how a few people can really "ruin" an evening.
Service and ambience were great! We were celebrating our anniversary and sat in a more private area with rose petals awaiting at our table. Our desert was on the house, which was an awesome way to end our dinner. The only down side is that food is only average. I had higher expectations from an upscale restaurant.
The service was great. We there for my wife's birthday. We ordered the 22oz Bone in Ribeye and shared it. The servers we very willing to provide the additional plate and cut the steak for us at the table. The steak was cooked to our liking. The servers continually checked on us. My wife was given free dessert for her birthday. She selected the Banana Foster which was very good.
We have frequented this restaurant many times over the years and never have been as disappointed as this trip. Our Server was very friendly but we didn't see much of her all night. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to be served a starter of raw oysters and then another 45 minutes before the main course was served. Worse still was the fact that my dinner was something other than what I ordered and the entree of one guest was served like-warm. We suspect the kitchen might have been under-staffed as we noticed several tables making complaints. However, on the positive side , a manager observed our long wait and, unsolicited, came to our table and apologized and offered the oyster order gratis. We will return but will be wary on the next visit.
Absolutely outstanding once again. My wife and I went on our anniversary and every aspect of Eddie V's was fantastic. The service and the food were of the highest quality. I can't recommend the Chilean Sea Bass enough, but the steaks are just as amazing as the seafood. Really, there isn't a reason not to go to Eddie V's.
The staff was very efficient and attentive. (not intrusive) The food was about the best I've had in many years in Fort Worth. It was my first visit to Eddie Vs and I will return. The menu offered a great variety and the CRABCAKES were without a doubt the BEST I've ever had. Thanks for a providing a great dining experience.
Restaurant was nice, food was very good, service outstanding. We were in a nice quite area, until a large group very loud, did not care how loud, put their rear ends to our table while leaning over talking to others. They were so rude.
Others that were already at a table got up and left. We should have also.
We were there for a nice quite dinner.
Very surprised restaurant did this. Poor planning.
We moved to the area from Houston, never had this happen in many years in Houston. We enjoyed the food & service. We will try the restaurant again.
