Fantastic service and attention to detail! Perfect on a cold and rainy evening.
Our fourth time dining at EddieVs. everything was great. Worth the drive from Plano. Love the customer care♥️
Awesome experience awesome food!! They care for us like we are family every time! We have never had a bad experience always good!!!
The service and food was AMAZING! Our reservations were for 5:30 and we were hoping to hear live music at that time or at least by 6pm. Unfortunately they didn't start playing until 7:15, just as we were leaving.
Took my wife and our son for a dinner celebration for my wife’s birthday. Modern take on old school deco style; simply elegant, with very subdued lighting. Server (Miles) was impeccably attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. He decorated table with rose petals and presented my wife with a BDAY card signed by all the staff. Dinner was awesome. Fresh seafood with other options. I had the branzino feature of the day, wife picked the scallops and son opted for the filet. All cooked to perfection. And complimentary dessert for my wife’s Bday. All in all a wonderful evening. We will be back.
Sunday is NOT the night to come. Waited 20 minutes for a table in an almost empty dining room. My dish was horrible. Manager came over to discuss with us but didn’t take it off the bill???
Lovely and gracious hospitality, fresh and delicious food, and the ability to truly converse and enjoy your loved ones.
Loved the atmosphere and food! The Sea Bass was out of this world!
While in Dallas I took my wife here for her Birthday and the overall experience was excellent. The hospitality from the seating at the table, the waiter, and the restuarant manager was excellent. I would definitely go here again when we're in Dallas.
I took my relatives from Madison WI Ave they were very impressed and loved the food and atmosphere. We had the scallops, gulf shrimp and crab, with PEI oysters. Delicious
This was our second time dining with Eddie V’s, and it will not be the last. The wait staff was absolutely amazing and detail oriented. The manager also stopped by our table and offered friendly conversation. My wife and I visit places like: Bobs, 3 Forks, and Pappas. The ambiance here is beautiful and the food meets the high standards as expected from such an establishment, yet the customer service alone will make me a repeat customer.
FYI - Order a drink called “The Hope Diamond” you will not be sorry. 🔥
Eddie V’s never fails to impress. Service is attentive but not intrusive, pace is leisurely, food is prepared as ordered and cooked to perfection. We’ve been fans for years and usually dine at Eddie V’s in Austin but have also been to Kansas City, Chicago and now Dallas venues. All are wonderful.
Fantastic service from start to finish! The bone-in filet was cooked perfectly to order, and was fantastic. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was just enough to start the meal. As for dessert, the s’mores interpretaion hit the spot for a great finish. This was my first visit to this location, having patronized the Fort Worth location several times previously. Now this will be a go to location as well!
Food was great, although my steak was really rare for a medium rare steak. Mac and cheese here is always fantastic. Service was very good, the restaurant brought a dessert in recognition of the event we were celebrating, which was very kind.
Birthday was great! Amazing food! Bananas foster was fabulous
Our second time there and we were still impressed with the impeccable service and outstanding menu choices. First off, our waiter, Jarrell, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made many different recommendations. We were visited by both managers, Mike and Nick, and both took the time to greet, welcome us, and ensure our dining experience was satisfactory throughout the evening.
We shared the Crab Cake, which is the biggest we’ve ever seen and has no fillers. It’s pretty much all crab meat. I followed that up with the Lobster Bisque soup. My main course was the evening special of Sea Bass topped with crab over Asparagus with Scallops on the side. My wife enjoyed the Ahi Tuna, seared and served over a rice cake. Both dishes were amazing. Finished dinner and we shared the Godiva Chocolate Cake.
Every time , no matter which location in the country, Eddie V's is always spot on. From cocktails to desert the entire experience is wonderful. I so enjoy dining at a great restaurant that whether you are at a large booth or a table for two you can talk and enjoy the fabulous food without screaming at each other over other diners or the music. Our server this past weekend was April. She was was such a joy. I have no idea how they recruit such professional, enjoyable staff but we really appreciate it. Every meal was perfect, from seafood to steaks, and lets not forget the CRAB FRIED RICE! Keep doing what you do Eddie V's.
At Eddie V’s, you expect five things: great food, great drinks, great ambience, great service, and you expect to pay for the privilege. Last night they got four out of five. Everything was lovely, but the food… What can I say about the food? Crab legs tasted frozen, even the steak had a bit of freezer burnt taste to it. The lobster bisque had to be returned because it tasted fishy, without the merest hint of lobster taste. Frankly I was kind of surprised. It’s clear a lot of earnest, professional people work there. I’m not sure why the food fell so short because everything else was terrific. But when you pay that much, you notice.
Really great service and food. The server was great, and the manager came by a time or two.
As it was our anniversary, they gave us dessert free of charge.
Excellent in every way!
The manager - Micheal - was wonderful and attentive - as was our waiter! The mean was outstanding!!! Even though it is a seafood restaurant - I had the Best Steak I've had EVER!
Our waiter was very attentive and food quality was great. All steaks were cooked perfectly.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fund raiser . Celebrity guest Randy White - Hall of fame and former Dallas Cowboy number 54 - aka the “Manster.”
Everything was perfect - especially the food. Stellar service - elegant ambiance.
I’ve eaten here several times and never been disappointed! Congrats to Felisha, Michael, Ben and your staff for another memorable evening.
Amazing seafood, great steaks and the biggest lobster tail I’ve ever seen! Highly recommend when you’re in Dallas.
Celebrated our son’s birthday tonight. The staff had signed a card for him, put special confetti circles to decorate the table for us. WOW what detail! The manager Mike came by and wished him a happy birthday. The music was absolutely the best. Our waiter was right there continually checking on our needs.
Food ...... I have NEVER had calamari like this! Sooooo good! We had sea bass on risotto yummy. The tofu was excellent. The scallops could not have been cooked better anywhere.
A banana foster for dessert.
Great food and cocktails. Excellent service. Live music on weekends are great.
Tonight was the best experience I’ve ever had at Eddie Vs. I guess because I’ve eaten there several times before - they knew I was a returning guest. Even as I walked into the restaurant - they knew my name and welcome me back. Impressed.
Sat down and celebrated my father’s birthday, as well as a private celebration of our last time in Dallas since I will be moving away. The staff, waitress, and managers were INCREDIBLY welcoming and made us feel very special. The food was quick, delicious, and everything we wanted in a special occasion. They are SO detail oriented and observant that it blows my mind. My father took the lime that came with our appetizer and put it in his tea (since he loves extra lemon in his drink). The next glass of tea came out with an extra lime and lemon - which baffled us until we realized that they had noticed that small detail in preference in drink. Small, but I have a love for detail.
I can’t say enough about the team, ambience, and treatment for one of our final meals together in Dallas. Thank you Michael, Ben, and Jennie for an amazing evening. I’ll miss your hospitality!!!
Oh my! First time to this EVs. Went to the one in Austin which was 5 star! This one is 5 star, as well. Our food was perfect. Randy, our waiter was a pro—not some dude that was just hired from Applebee’s. He did not rush our date night/special occasion night. And, we commented that the noise level wasn’t too loud. We didn’t have to shout to hear each other. We will be coming back for years to come.
Always a fantastic experience. Food is delicious. Offers food creativity. Great seafood but I hate they took the oyster appetizer away. WHY?
The service is always fabulous and the meals are some of the best in town. I had the Texas Red Fish with Crab Meat and it was delicious. My favorite.
EddieV's consistently provides great service and food. We haven't dined there in almost a year but Eddie V's never lets us down. Food is great and service is top Notch. Shout out to manager Ben for always taking care of my family and I.
Always good. Thanks to James our waiter for outstanding service again.
Great service, great atmosphere and great food. Highly recommend Eddie V's. My wife and I have dined here on several occasions and we have yet to be disappointed.
We loved it! We went there for restaurant week, but for sure we will be returning.
It was my wife's birthday and our wait staff Corey was excellent went above and beyond, very knowledgeable. Both managers Nick and Felicia stopped by our table. Felicia was very gracious and offered a small tasting as appetizers.Did not expect that.
We are loyal guests of Eddie V's.
This was my first time at this restaurant. I went on the last day f Restaurant Week. When I first walked in the atmosphere was pleasant. I loved how I was greeted by name and allowed to choose my section for seating. My small complaint would be how rude the staff came across because I could clearly hear them discussing my order, especially when I had to send a cold dish back.
Since I am a lover of seafood, I ordered the bisque. I was disappointed with this dish the most. The first bowl I received was cold, it was clearly warmed over. The second bowl of bisque was not much better. It seemed like it was thrown in the microwave that has low voltage. The main course was my favorite. I selected the Norwegian Salmon. This was cooked to perfection. I loved this salmon better than any other salmon i have ever had. The vegetables were spot on and I did not taste the vinaigrette much either. Now as much as I love desserts, I tried the Bananas Foster. When it came out I could smell the caramel and it reminded me of a cozy fire. It is incredibly sweet for those that love their sweets.
Lastly, the Old Fashion was a perfect choice for my entree and a new favorite when I return to the restaurant.
The ambiance was nice, but I was disappointed with the service. Our waiter was not very attentive or friendly at all. At least, not compared to what I witnessed from other waiters. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had called and spoke with someone, and was advised that they would bring out a dessert with "Happy Birthday" writing on the plate. Nothing! The manager did come out and wish him a happy birthday. The food was okay. My steak was a little dry, but my husband's was just right. It was not worth what we paid. I wouldn't rush to go back.
Love the food and ambiance of Eddie V’s.
Went here for Dallas Restaurant Week. Ambiance is very nice. Sat in dining room behind the bar. Jazz band was playing, so pleasant. Bread is very good, lobster bisque ok, a bit thick & skimpy on the lobster, filet was tender & cooked to order, truffle mashed potato were skippable, sautéed spinach was good, asparagus was tough & bitter, bananas foster dessert was delicious, but they could have left off the tasteless scoop of whip cream. Service is attentive. If you had a choice, Capitol Grill is still my pick for Restaurant Week menu. Probably won’t go back for the regular price menu.
The server was friendly. The food was good. It was a good date night atmosphere. The wife enjoyed the truffle Mac and cheese! The butter cake was decadent.
