Eddie V's - City Centre Ratings and Reviews
As always food and service were excellent. In my opinion, Eddie V’s cannot be beat. I have tried other high end restaurants, but I have always been disappointed with them in some way. Eddie V’s never disappoints. The drinks are filed to the Rim, and there is no doubt about the alcohol content. The food is exceptional, wheather you are eating steak or seafood. Let’s not forget the live music in the Lounge every night of the week. How can you go wrong with Eddie V’s?............You can’t!!!
We have dined at Eddie V’s numerous times and this visit was VERY disappointing. Service was bad, not because of our waitress but obviously the kitchen and bar areas were having problems. The food was below average as well. I ordered the Parmesan sole and it was flavorless and not worth the price. The sautéed spinach wasn’t sautéed at all, more like the spinach you would get in a spinach salad and was very bland.
Eddie V's never disappoints! Our waiter, William (in the VLounge) was excellent. In fact, any waiter or waitress we've ever had has been excellent. The food is always good, fresh, and the correct temperature. We absolutely LOVE the cocktails too! We will definitely be long-time customers! :)
Love Eddie Vs for after work happy hour on a routine basis.
This review is for NYE 2017-2018 thought. The NYE party was a super pleasant surprise! Lots of fun for a small group (6) with a great jazz band, very attentive waitress, and super fun crowd. Honestly, not what we expected at all, but so much better and fun! Great job, Eddie Vs - City Center!
We went as a group for New Year’s Eve get together. There was live music in the bar when we arrived and later in the lounge as we ate. We all had great food no complaints from any of the 9 guests we had with us. The atmosphere was great and there was even enough room for us to get up to dance. Service was excellent, a bit pricy but since we got what we paid for no complaints there either. A great find we will be back
Although our table wasn’t set up before seating, servers assistants quickly set it up as we were sitting dOwn. Our wonderful server Maria came by shortly to greet us and greeted us by our last name and explained the menu. She gave a good and simple recommendation for a white wine to pair with my swordfish steak (which was delicious btw). Filet mignon was also cooked well and savory. Our favorite the Crab cakes and the Crab fried rice was absolutely worth ordering. I had also ordered a lobster bisque which wasn’t as good as I had expected. Kind of bland and wouldn’t order it again. We received a complimentary chocolate cake dessert for our anniversary. Overall, I’d definitely dine here again. First time and won’t be my last!
My steak was undercooked then Burt to a crisp. Also the bathroom was horrible. Reported it twice and had to get a male to get some toilet paper from the men’s for the women’s restroom. It wasn’t busy on Saturday, I believe the management just needs to pay more attention to the restaurants operation.
As always the service was great however the lack of anywhere to put one's coat is a little annoying. The food was excellent and my filet bone in steak was amazing and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Our guest was a little disappointed by the bone in ribeye which was extremely thin for that cut but he said the flavor was very good.
We had the Texas red fish & it was drowned in a heavy sauce that was not fit for the light fish. I had to scrape mine off, and my girlfriend couldn’t even eat hers. We originally wanted the Chilean sea bass but it ran out by 8pm. The crab cake was delicious, but even the apple pie wasn’t good. I was disappointed because I’ve been here before & it was great the first go round & we were hosting a bday for someone out of town & it just didn’t live up to the expectations.
I’ve been to both Hearsay locations and have not been disappointed at either location. The food was delicious. I’m a very picky eater and the chicken and waffles were both great! The soup was divine. The service was superb. I would definitely go back again.
We have dined at Eddie V’s several times and the food and service is usually excellent. This time, however was a bit of a mixed bag. Most of the food was excellent, but I ordered the Filet Mignon and it was good, but not quite excellent. Also, the service was excellent until toward the end of our meal. The restaurant got noticeably busier and service dropped off considerably. The waiter is usually right there and one never has to wait, but there were a couple of instances where our waiter was no where to be found as we were trying to order dessert and get our check. That would not be unusual for most restaurants, but not the standard for Eddie V’s.
