Eddie Papa's American Hangout
Service was wonderful! Food was amazing! So many enticing choices. We had jalapeno poppers; rich and delicious, pork chop and coconut rice; yummy, meatloaf with mac and cheese; fantastic! Can't wait to go back again to try more choices. Next time we want to save room for dessert!
Good place, very loud which makes it hard to have a conversation.
Chris the waitress is a love! She will talk you into hanging out with her at Eddie Papas everyday ;)
Really I have no complaint. The Hawaiian ribs were great, the swordfish was very good, and the coconut rice was delicious. One in our party had fish and chips. She said the fish was good but perhaps not great. Overall all was fine.
Outstanding food and service!
Everyone was extremely friendly and had a good sense of humor. The service was excellent and the food was really good with lots of options on the menu. They have Cheerwine soda, which you don't see hardly on the west coast! I really enjoyed the chicken and waffle meal. The surprise cotton candy at the end was shocking and hilariously a great ending to a meal I wasn't expecting. First time experience was a great one!
It was my Great Nephews 21st birthday. We had the best server he made the evening so special. Our meal was outstanding, the calamari, & jalapeño poppers were so good, crab & avocado sandwich was delicious, the burger so good, the Korean ribs were also delicious the wedge salad with grilled shrimp was amazing.
Excellent service and food ! Highly recommend this place to everyone.
My nephew got the meatloaf that he said was good but I got the chicken and it was very dry and the coating on it was not good at all. I have lunch there many times and it was fine but the dinner I had was very poor and I left most of the chicken.
The place was ok the appetizers we order of poke and calamari was alright. The Loco Moco needed change on the rice must use the sticky rice instead of Uncle Bens instant cook rice malt it more authentic. The breakfast California omelettes were not that good the ingredients should be more incorporated with the eggs instead of being separated, the homefried potatoes should be cook cook on the flat grill not in the deep fryer and the toast blew me away one piece of bread cut diagonally, in most restaurants you get 4 slices must be a bread shortage and the coffee was cold refill only once. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich it look like it was smash when it arrived.I will not come back to this place it needs more improvements all around. I give this place 2 stars at most and I’m being nice.
This was our first time eating here. It did not disappoint. Everyone was very friendly. Big menu variety. Must go back and try something else. A nice touch was the cotton candy which our grandkids loved ias well as the adults. The manager Celeste (I think her name was) had great customer service skills. We all felt very welcomed and all enjoyed it.
We enjoy the family atmosphere at this restaurant we go in and are treating like a family member.
Can't wait to visit again. Such a clever menu. Loved the food and dessert.
High school graduation celebration. Waiter was awesome.
Very poor service. Appetizer cane at the same time as entrees. No apology, no discount and no sign of the manager. Not impressive.
Won’t be back
Birthday lunch for boss
Very good salad and sandwich.
Good place for groups, kids, something on the menu for everyone, very good service. Food varies. Ask your server for any details, as I found out after ordering that my crab benedict did not come with eggs...weird. Also the crab was quiet mushy mixed with too much something. Homefries were dry. Friend liked her crab avo sandwich, everyone liked their food (fish tacos, burger, shrimp louie salad).
It was a wonderful dinner and there were 7 of us celebrating retirement.
Service was excellent and we were treated very nice. Food was excellent!
Today we had an excellent meal. The swordfish was excellent, with a mango salsa served over rice. My husband had the Jambalaya, and he loved it, bit spicy but good. The service was excellent. We will return again soon.
Understandably so, it was busy. However the food was hit or miss. The warm food was no longer warm. Also the salads had onions in everything, except fruit salad. I’m highly allergic to onions. I could not take advantage of any salads. Arturo was amazing!
Eddie Papas is good food with lots of choices so there is something for everyone.
The food is good quality, though nothing amazing. Prices are on the high side, but the wide variety of available choices (something for every diet & allergy), and food quality make it worth it especially when you have a large group or people with a range of tastes. Service is the amazing part, they do a great job for small & large groups alike, friendly, the food came out fast, and they really take care of you.
This is our go-to spot for large groups.
Pass on this if at all possible. Worse food ever!!!
This place is a must go! The food was really good and the service was awesome. There is a large menu. My daughter is vegetarian and she had lots of choices. My grandson had a great kids menu to choose from and he said his Mac n cheese was “bomb”. I had the ribs. Really tasty. The service was friendly and fast. This place gives you the feeling your part of their family. I highly recommend it.
Good food and nice atmosphere. Server was good
It is so good loved the Burger and the Fries plus the cocktails were good. The Poke was alright preferred the burger and fries.
Love Eddie Papa's with the abundance of choices makes it a Great place to meet with clients and friends.
I LOVE the food! I'm a foodie so I can appreciate well-made, fresh food. Everything was delicious! I got the lobster roll and requested less mayo and it arrived perfect! The service was awesome and the restaurant is clean and beautiful. Thank you for a great birthday experience.
Had a nice visit with two ladies I have known for 40+ years and the time just flew by. Our waiter was very attentive and met all our needs. Will definitely come back and also recommend to friends. A lovely place for a get together lunch.
Our favorite brunch place. We love the service and the family environment.
We had Arturo as a waiter & he was excellent. Fish tacos were wonderful. Calamari not the best, over cooked.
Arturo gave us such a fun experience - he’s a very attentive and entertaining server -fun mothers/ daughters brunch !
Awesome breakfast/brunch spot on the weekend. Always drove by on the way home and was busy. Reserved a large table for a family reunion brunch and the food, experience and service was excellent. We had members who were late and they never pressured us and took care of the kids during that time. Thank you and will be back to try their lunch/dinner in the future.
Amazing establishment. Even more amazing food than expected.
Something for everyone!
Great place for families with generous portions of your favorite American comfort food dishes finished with a big plate of cotton candy at the end of the meal. We dined early on a Friday and the restaurant was quiet and only about 50% capacity. The decor could use some improvement. Service was friendly but not outstanding. Food was good. The highlights were the lobster roll and cotton candy.
My daughters 16th birthday
Great team lunch! Table was ready when we walked in. Food was great -- everyone cleaned their plates. Service was Solid. Our server was personable and fun to interact with. Priced very fairly for the area, and wide range of prices. Menu had a lot of different options. One person ordered Jambalaya and said it was more like Gumbo (something about the sauce being thicker and lighter in color), but liked it and ate it all.
Only suggestion is maybe one or two more dessert choices.
