This was our first time. We thought it was a beautiful. Our waiter Michael was very attentive and knowledgeable and was great!!The manager Jeff is very welcoming and always treats us like family. You can tell he loves his job and cares about each customer. The food was outstanding! The filet mignon was the best along with the mac and cheese and chocolate cake you have to get. My hubby said his burger was great also. We are followers of Jeff from a previous restaurant. There is no one as great as him!! This is a must to try, You will not be sorry.

We were visiting Louisville for a volleyball tournament ! Checked into the hotel and made reservations! Had a wonderful dining experience and the food was fantastic!!

Service was outstanding!

The food however wasn't worth the price in my opinion. I visited the restaurant in hopes of getting a higher end steak than your traditional chain restaurants. I simply had a glass of wine, a 10oz filet and a bowl of King Crab and corn chowder. My bill was over $70. With a tip it was over $90. That was for one person. Now saying that, I expected my bill to be that much, but I also expected a very flavorful filet mignon. My filet was cooked corrct (Medium Rare) but tasted very bland. I'm sure with some add ons it would have helped but when you pay $50 for a steak you expect a $50 steak. I have had better at the likes of Outback and or a Texas Roadhouse. While the atmosphere was great and the server was awesome, the steak department needs some help.

Great restaurant ambiance and food for the price. However, restaurant seating area was very cold near the revolving door entrance. Made dinner uncomfortable wearing coats and jackets whole dinning.

We really enjoy coming here to eat we eat here 3 to 4 times a year... We see a drop in the service over the last few years and this is not helping with making a decision to come to Eddie Merlot’s to eat.... We loved the service in the past and hope that it picks up soon....

We went for New Years Eve and were very unhappy with really, the entire experience. It was like we were in a void, where service and food was poor, and no one cared or noticed. Our reservations were at 6:30 so they were not slammed. We started with drinks and ordered apps. We had the Crab Martini and the Tartare. The Tartare was good the crab just tasted like sesame oil. After finishing our a apps and drinks, we sat and waited for some to come over and notice we had no drinks. We had yet been offered bread, and had not had a chance to ordered the rest of our meal. We watched the manger come and check on surrounding tables but passed us by. We sat for almost 10 minutes just waiting. Finally our waiter came over and we ordered more drinks and our meal. That was when we were served bread. I had the bisque and Seabass and my wife got the iceberg salad and the seared tuna. The bisque was good but her salad was covered in soggy pieces of bacon and egg. She took about two bites and ate no more. When they cleared our table no one asked why she hardly touched her salad, guess they didn't care. Last got our entrees. Mine was a small and under seasoned price of Seabass sitting on a pile of over cooked and not seasoned veg. My wife's tuna was ice cold and not even slightly seasoned. We eat out a lot, and I cook so, I know what seared is but this must had been sitting before served. Not even a touch bit warm. I told the waiter, and to my surprise she brought a plate for my wife to scrape the tuna from her plate to take back to the kitchen. When she returned with the tuna I just asked for the check and we left. Our bill was $166 before tip which is a lot to pay for a bad experience all the way around. Not a good way to end our 2017. The next night we went to Le Moo and enjoyed the entire experience, service and food was amazing. Our bill there was $220 before tip and well worth it.

Bison filet was a very small portion.
