   The restaurant had a beautiful interior, with dim lighting and soft music playing in the background, creating a calming atmosphere. The decor was stylish, and the seating was comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a romantic evening or a quiet dinner with friends. However, despite the cozy atmosphere, I was disappointed by the quality of the food, vegetables were overcooked and mushy and the special advertised was not available. Despite the lackluster food, the service was attentive and friendly, and the quiet atmosphere made for a relaxing dining experience. While the food did not meet my expectations, I would recommend this restaurant for those looking for a peaceful and quiet spot to enjoy a drink or two with friends or colleagues. Overall, I would say that this restaurant is a great spot to unwind after a long day, but the food is not worth the price.

   Went there with a family of 6 adults and a high chair. The restaurant is beautiful with walls of windows overlooking the resort grounds. The food selection was great... Salads, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, pizza, chicken, salmon, prime rib, roasted veggies, garlic mashed potatoes etc. And a large dessert selection. The churro bread pudding was a favourite! Several pies, cakes, chocolate fondue, etc. The service was great! The waitress overheard one of our party saying they preferred well done beef and she had the cooks put some of the beef on the grill for him until well done. We will definitely be going back!

   Hot food was warm,desserts fair,staff not sure of prices for beers quoted one price charged another. Ambiance was nice,temperature of dining are was cool .

   Lovely food & great service. We loved the excellent and wide variety of options offered in both the buffets - breakfast and dinner. There was so much good stuff to try - the only drawback we got too full to try everything!! Shout of to omelette station and the roast beef & au jus. We also loved the salads and soup in the dinner salad bar. We had an excellent server Saresh, he made our meals extra special and enjoyable. We were so pleased he served us not once but twice!

   Overpriced for what is offered, and prices on the wine list are outrageous. Seems to be the only option for Deerhurst Resort patrons, for dinner but requires a reservation. The night I was there, there was a large, loud group of about 20 people. Not a pleasant atmosphere.

    When we were being seated, we were disappointed to be told that the restaurant was only offering a buffet and no a la carte menu. We were looking forward to having some fondue. The restaurant should have noted that on their website and OpenTable. Although the service did eventually recover, we were subsequently seated at a table that was missing a place setting and it took 15 minutes for anyone to come by to take our drink order and provide the additional place setting. Restaurant was not full at the time. In the end, the buffet options were decent, selections were fresh and they had chocolate fondue as part of the dessert offerings. The lighting was very bright which made the tiredness of the restaurant look even more obvious. Eclipse is a decent option if you don't want to leave the resort and value is good but I expected a bit more for Deerhurst.

    We were there for a nice Valentines Day dinner restaurant was over packed with tables and not enuf servers got there at 630pm and didnt finish our dinner till 9pm food was cold when it came out and quality was very good clearly due to kitchen being rushed had live music playing but was so loud that i couldn't talk to my wife across table from me overall not a good experience would not recommend to anyone.

    Very attentative service and food was constantly being replenished on a very, very busy night. Easy to navigate buffet line. Food was a bit underwhelming. Nothing really wrong other than chicken and fish being overdone and dry. Selection was just enough, borderline not quite diverse enough. Dessert counter ok. More variety needed at chocolate fondue other that marshmallows and pineapple.

    We had dinner on a Friday night and loved that the restaurant was not overly busy, no lines for the buffet and the food exceeded our expectations! Our only complaint is that the restaurant is slightly dated but overall a good experience.

    We had the dinner buffet at Eclipse Restaurant on Friday night. The food was very good and there was a lot of choice. The breakfast buffet at Eclipse was outstanding as to the choices. We had dinner at Compass on Saturday night and the food was very good. Perhaps Deerhurst should consider purchasing a blender in order to make strawberry daiquiries as we could not purchase these at Eclipse or Compass. Eclipse did try to make a strawberry daiquiri but it was not the same.

    The buffet was delicious and our server was attentive and nice. From the salads, the prime rib, and the best mashed potatoes to the extensive wine list, pies, and chocolate fondue we were all extremely happy and … full!

    Not worth the money. Too many pork items they have no consideration for people that dont eat pork even the soup had ham in it. Kids menu sucks no variety no simple food for kids. Overall not worth the money. We had no choice to go there twice because we stayed at the hotel it was convenient for us but second time was worse food wasnt even warm it was cold. This place needs to get someone with a brain to redo the menu.

    Buffet s….s. No value in a $49.95 charge. Maybe 1 or 2 meat choices everything else is potatoes and veggie if you ask me its a complete rip off they are overcharging people because of convenience but its worth driving 10min into town you get a lot more value for the money. Pure rip off this restaurant

    We made a reservation for 8:30 not knowing the restaurant itself/buffet closed at 9:00pm and unfortunately the food was not being replenished and what was left over had clearly been sitting there for a while. It was disgusting quite frankly. Our server did give us a discount on our meal but I would have rather just had a nice dinner.

    The food was fine. Buffet style that my kids like. Not a lot of choice, but it was decent enough. The fish was really dry but everything else seemed ok. The furniture in the restaurant is not well taken care of, pretty shabby actually and detracts from ambiance significantly.

    Overall disappointing. Drink orders didn’t come until we were half done our meal. Plates didn’t get cleared from our table. Food selection was basic and bland. Expected a lot more We were celebrating a birthday while at the resort… wish we had done a different restaurant instead.

    Service was almost non existent and food was not tasty at all. Good selection but just not good tasting food at all. The soup was probably the best part of our meal. Very expensive for the quality of food. We went into Huntsville the next day and had a better meal at Wimpys diner for lunch and a fabulous dinner at Allora for a better price

    Your Restaurant was short staffed do to heavier than normal snow fall. Not your fault. But tables were cleared by one person without the use of a cart or large tray resulting in may trips. The tables sat empty for about 20 minutes and then the same person reset the table I guess assuming it had been cleaned. After all the tables had been set the cleaning staff member told the original staff to remove all the settings so the tables could be washed. This was done . I guess the lack of communication and possibly lack of training was the reason for the observed lack of efficiency. Luckily do to the heavy snowfall a lot of the Restaurant was empty. This is just an observation an all and all a wonderful dining experience.

    I found the choices to be endless something for everyone but a lot of the hot items were cold the eggs beni came right from the fridge I’m sure. The team work of your staff was amazing on such a weather invasion some couldn’t get in some couldn’t get out. I will look at going again it is a marvellous place

    We chose eclipse for our family Christmas dinner and were disappointed. Food was cold and bland, no carving station after being told there was going to be one, deserts were store bought. My son is a picky eater and because there were no options for him the kitchen manager was kind enough to get him separate food. Overall not worth the price

    We went to dinner at 7:30pm and the service was really poor . The staff did not pay any attention to us. There was no one to carve the roast beef or no utensils next to it . We had to call out to the staff, wait to - even to get refills of water. We have been to this restaurant many times before and never had a disappointing experience like this one.

    As a vegan, the choices were poor. A hot protein (mock meat) needs to be available for both breakfast and dinner buffet. As a vegan, absolutely not worth the price at all. There are so many options now, it really is unacceptable. However, my friends that are not vegan thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
