Excellent creative sushi rolls. Outside dining available and attractive restaurant interior.
Service very good. Highly recommend.
While it was an exceptional busy night. The wait time as we had a reservation was fair. The service was good as always and the food was excellent. Very happy overall and I know we will be coming back.
Food was fine but I asked for a wine with my entrée and the guy messed upand never brought it till much later so it took away from the meal
I only hope that this was an off night. Service was terrible, the timing of the courses was inconsistent and off and the wine by the glass was stale.
I always like Echo and the service is impeccable. As a pan Asian restaurant, I would like to see more variety with sushi and sashimi on the menu. Sushi meaning raw fish, not tempura fish. I find Echo lacking in “real” sushi and they do not even offer a sashimi platter. Each piece individually priced. Not impressed with that. If you prefer cooked Pan Asian, noodles, fish, etc., the food is excellent.
The food is great! The short rib appetizer was amazing! The restaurant is a little too dark and our waitress was ok, didn’t give us suggestions or check on our food! Other service members were more friendly! But the food was great will recommend friends
Had 7:15 reservation and was not seated until 7:50
Another good meal at Echo. Service was much better this time. They did not rush us as they have done in the past. Echo roll is great! Sushi and sashimi combo great as well. Will return.
Don’t be fooled ....there is still only one Asian restaurant in Palm Beach that’s worthwhile and that’s echo.
The new menu this year has included some Great new items try some of their noodle dishes you will not be disappointed. There’s always a upbeat feeling ia high level of energy running through the room. The bar is a great place to stop early in the evening for happy hours . The servers are always attentive and anticipate all of your needs.
As a local we look forward to dining at Echo at least once a week It’s one of our top three in Palm Beach.
We had dinner in the back outdoor room. It was beautiful. Lichee Martinis are wonderful. Special sushi rolls were delicious!
Very special place. Operated by The Breakers. Best sushi !!!!!!!!
Great Chinese and great sushi!
Mediocre food for the price. Sushi was within the realm of acceptability, but nothing special.
As a local PB person who eats out 2 meals a day, seven days a week, I eventually come back around to Echo, reluctantly. This past evenings expensive, yet disappointing dinner of tacos, shrimp, Etc was probably my last, let’s call it a Pavlovian response.
The General Tso’s chicken was not as described - at all: crispy chicken was soft, even gummy; the sweet and spicy sauce was bland; the peppers, onions and peas were mushy, and the rice was cold and had been reheated so many times it’s texture was granular and waxy. The Grand Mariner shrimp was comparable to an all-you-can eat buffet in a Lake Worth strip-mall.
Sadly, I’ve had better food from at the Chinese takeout on Belvedere next to Publix.
So in summation, I, nor my frequent dining friends won’t take any more chances with you’re overpriced Cheney Bros. quality food.
As you fancy yourselves as a Sushi-bar, it’s ironic that the best sushi in PB is at a chain. Bricktops sushi is head and shoulders above Echo’s.
Even the bill/check is hard to read, it is so full of digits and useless information that one assumes, rightly so, for that price, that the tip is included.
So, even the last part of our experience was confusing: assuming the tip was included, I closed the check-book cover, our waitress retrieved the closed check-book and walked away, but swiftly and officiously brought the check back and said, and I quote: “If you’d like to leave a tip, you do it here!” Pointing to the line to write in a tip.
Is this ‘new’ The Breakers?
very authentic sushi with an interesting menu and combinations. Everything we had was perfect and high quality. The Dragon roll and other signature rolls were excellent. The fish is very fresh and well presented. The cocktails are done well. The place has valet parking and it's very busy so allow time to get parked. Fast paced, on the loud side with a vibrant crowd and bar scene. It's a hot spot. overall great quality for a decent price.
Echo is truly a world class restaurant with exceptional food, drink, service and atmosphere. It is a must for special occasions. the service and management couldn't be more accommodating and friendly.
Always enjoyable. Dan the manager is terrific!
Overrated and overpriced. Food was good, but not up to the level of other Breakers restaurants or even PF Chang's for that matter, and I am a good judge since I am in the hospitality business since birth. Service was efficient and friendly but not necessarily up to the level of the pricing. After plates were dropped nobody revisited our table until we were nearly finished. This lack of pro-activity takes the edge of the atmosphere of "special" that this venue should have.
Echo does not disappoint time after time. Our favorite place for special occasions!
We've been to Echo several times, but this time, the experience of getting seated was atrocious. There were many hostesses running around with iPads, but no one was getting seated, even though the restaurant was half full! Despite making a reservation and arriving on time, we had to wait over 25 minutes to be seated. There was a total miscommunication with the hostesses; we asked to be seated first available, and after 20 minutes, they told us we had been waiting because we had asked to be seated outside. We repeatedly reminded the hostesses that we were waiting, and one even responded that the restaurant does not participate in OpenTable (even though it clearly does, and another hostess checked us in via our OpenTable reservation). It was a mess. We had to ask to speak to the manager twice before a hostess brought him over. The manager did end up comping our drinks, but we would have just preferred to be seated at our reservation time.
Once we finally got seated, the hostess brought us to the table right behind the hostess stand, after she told us that she would try to seat us towards the back, where it's quieter. They did accommodate us when we asked for a different table, however.
The food was good, and our service was pretty good (the waitress was lovely and knowledgeable, and although whoever brought out our food forgot some things, she quickly assured us that they were coming). The drinks were overpriced and some were not great (one of ours tasted like cleaning solution!). Overall, it was a pretty awful experience. While Echo was one of our top restaurants in the Palm Beach area, I don't think we'll be returning for a while.
Food was fantastic! My only complaint was that we waiting an additional 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and the food does take a little long to get to the table after you order. But the drinks do come right away and ambience is nice.
Service was great but the food is lacking something. I was expecting it to be like Buddakan NYC.
Had reservations but still had to wait 20 minutes. Very loud. Could not hear our server. Food was good but nothing special for the price. Portions were small and both steak entrees ordered were good but hardly had any meat in them. The combination fried rice had virtually no protein and could have come from my local Chinese take out place.
Great dinner! The Peking Duck is the best. Better than in Beijing !
Great place. Great food, drinks and service. I would go more often if I could. The think of every detail and make your dining experience extraordinary.
First they couldn’t find our reservation. Then we were led to a very noisy area of the restaurant that was very dark. Reading the menu was a challenge!!
Server was nice but seemed overwhelmed and impatient. No help with wine list or menu ideas. Little engagement. Specialty rolls were tasty but the price overall is too much considering the loud, dark atmosphere. Better seafood in Palm Beach can easily be found!
Best sushi ever had!
While the food is very good, it felt like the restaurant’s main goal was to get us out of there as quickly as possible. Food came out to quickly with little or no break between courses. Service was rushed, haphazard, share plates and utensils literally dropped on the table.
Great food. Great service. Had a great birthday dinner.
We had a tough start. Our table was 20 minutes late then our waitperson spilled anentire glassier Rose down my daughters back. She felt terrible and comped 3 drinks and 2 appetizers...ok mistakes happen. Our food was really marginal. The kung pow chicken in lettuce leaves was 3 tables of minced chicken , drowned in bottled sauce in 3 tiny leaves. The Sweet n sour halibut was deep fried beyond recognition before also being drowned in jarred sauce.
The dishes and plating was beautiful but I'd prefer more attention to the food.
I’ve been here in the past and had a good experience years ago, but this meal was not fresh and below satisfactory. Our sushi came out before our drinks, we ordered a dragon roll that was padded with rice and a tiny, tiny piece of tuna. I’ve had better sushi at Whole Foods for $12. Then we ordered the chicken stir fry. It was bland and it tasted like a frozen dinner. We were still hungry and could have ordered more but we didn’t want to spend money on poor quality food. The service was also lackluster and the dining room was not busy so there is no excuse. For a breakers property and the price point this is embarrassing. We won’t be back.
Been everywhere in the area, this is still my favourite.
Another wonderful dinner at Echo! They took amazing care of our party of 11.
As always the food was great but the service was spectacular. Will was the best server we have had in a very long time!!!
Hi Always enjoy going to Echo, however tonight we felt rushed by our waitress a little too in our face and rushing everything from the ordering to picking up our plates and glasses before we were done. All in all a good meal.
Delicious- great and friendly service. We’ll be back
I will be back a few more times in order to try more things on the menu.
Everything was perfect, you can never go wrong dining at Echo
