Echo Ratings and Reviews
Food was excellent, from beginning to end. The dessert was to die for and I am not a sweet teeth. Cocktails were very well done and presented. The ambiance was lively and fun. We had to wait half an hour for our reservation, only negative, but it gave us time to explore the cocktails at the bar, the barman was very helpful.
We had THE WORST WAITRESS and WORST SERVICE. She forgot to bring one of the appetizers - after we brought it to her attention, you would expect she would make sure the rest of the order came out right. Unfortunately, that did not happen- one of the main courses was left out, one came out wrong - and she had nothing to say.
Manager came out and said “sorry”- but he didn’t offer us anything complimentary to apologize and didn’t even comp anything off the bill
Food is delicious but I would NEVER have that waitress service us again. And the manager should train his staff better
I'm not really one to complain about places, but it was enough money and annoyance that thought i would. I made a reservation the day before and called about 5 hours before hand to make a request to have a window seat or not sit by the kitchen. When we got there we were seated at possibly one of the worst tables. A simple 2 peraon table sandwiched between 2 larger tables... next to the kitchen.. Normally I wouldnt care, but the table right next to us was a booth with no one in it. That table was seated about 10 to 15 minutes after we got there.. why should we have gotten this crappy, cramped, and loud table when a nicer booth was right next to us? Had it been a bigger party that would be one thing however, it was another two person party. The service was alright the food was good but we felt rushed and actually wanted to order more food when the check came out of nowhere and we just said ... well I guess its time to head out. I don't like being annoyed on my anniversary, but was annoyed throughout the whole meal.
My wife and I, along with our son and his girlfriend, had a magnificent dinner at Echo once again. We had reservations and were promptly seated upon our arrival.
The food was very good as usual, as we enjoyed sushi chef Ryan delirious creations.
Shannon, our server, was very attentive, efficient, and friendly.
Highly recommend Echo for sushi connoisseurs!
Brought out-of-town guests to Echo for dinner this past week, thoroughly enjoyed by all. We chose to dine on the patio verses inside which is much noisier. Just a overall delightful evening between the food, company and weather. The Grand Marnier shrimp was outstanding as was the halibut.
The chicken was tough in the ramen and we sent it back for a different dish. We had the sesame chicken which had great flavor but the chicken could have been crisper (a bit soggy). Another dish we tried was the curry chicken, the curry sauce was amazing but only few solid pieces of chicken and could use more for a $27 dish.
The pics online made it look a lot prettier than it is indoors. Ouside seemed ok. Miso soup was not good. Riceless role was great but small portion compared to regular roll my friend had. Service was good. Its not up to standard of the other breakers restaurants. Needs redecorating.
We had a wonderful evening at Echo. The food was wonderful, the prices fair, and the service outstanding. Our waiter truly made our experience a good one. He went out of his way to accommodate my parents who are both vegetarian by making menu suggestions and changes to meals. Also we were celebrating my Dads birthday and my parents anniversary. I told the hostess when we arrived and we were surprised with the most beautiful assortment of desserts after our meal ( complimentary I might add). He also included an additional guava ice cream to ensure my vegetarian parents could have something egg free if needed. I would highly recommend this restaurant and wish I could remember our waiters name so he can be recognized.
Not sure if I will rush back. I have been to Echo several times in the past and it was always good.....however, something seems to be different. First, they seat us next to the door of the party room....which ended up not only being the parties hangout, but the noise was a bit much.
We ordered the appetizer platter, which 1/2 that was on the plate was cold....when I eventually found the waiter, the did replace what was cold. The entrees were no better, my Wife’s entree was both tasteless and dry....were mine was laced with an incredible amount of salt....I am thinking the shaker dropped in my food.....
The one bright spot were the drinks....they tasted great and went down even better....but $20 for a martini was a bit much!
Next time I am looking for Asian Fusion, I’ll go to Kontiki...1/2 the price and the food is a 100% better!
My daughter picked this place upon recommendations from friends. It was for her birthday dinner. We made reservations, once we arrived we were seated immediately. Service was impeccable. Not once did I want for anything. Water was filled continuously, the server was nearby at all times. The food was absolutely delicious.Every last thing we ordered was perfect. Server was very knowledgeable of menu. They even brought it a complimentary birthday dessert tray. Such a nice place for a special occasion. Would definitely return.
Since I found this I have been here 3 times in a month. This is one of few upscale sushi spots with “real” sushi ( not cooked fish wrapped in rice- it’s not sushi people!) They serve quality ingredients with an excellent presentation and professional servers. Nice Thai options as well.
