ECHO St.Simons Island
Service was slow, the food average and the bill steep.
Food was good, pleasant server. Bill was calculated wrong but server quickly corrected it,
Beautiful view of the ocean! Food was delicious and our server, Q, was great:)
Our waiter was wonderful. He spaced our courses perfectly and we were not rushed! We had appetizers, salad/soup, entrees and dessert. A fabulous meal!
Creative and tasty breakfast menu... Not just the bah himbug regular options
We loved eating at Echo during our stay at King and prince. Parked our car and never left. Shout out to Christian, Allison and the restaurant manager for always accommodating. Food was awesome.
Horrible food. Service took a long time. Normally I never write bad reviews but this place was miserable. Save your money
Very nice place. My wife and I had a great time at dinner on Valentine's Day.
Long line and wait to be seated. Service slow—waiter serving too many and in another room. Noisy from band in common area of hotel. Waiter nice. Hostess failed to check in with open table and accused of. It showing up for reservations. Virtually no parking
Probably the worst dinner experience I’ve ever had. They were way under prepared for the amount of people. They sat us in a ballroom because they over booked the dining room. The only thing that saved the night was the manager Zack, he paid for our meal. I would probably give them another chance but not on such a crazy night.
Hostesses not proactive. There was a line at their station that didn’t move. We all had reservations. Not sure I would have been seated at all if I didn’t walk around the line and ask. Service was friendly but slow. Food was good.
I would recommend Echo but not for Valentine's day.
Dinner was great w garlic mashed potatoes 🥔 n asparagus, grouper n chicken 🐔 , nice atmosphere, it’s pretty cold so didn’t sit outside but enjoyed watching thru the windows, the restaurant gave me a rose 🌹 too for valentines 😁 We sat in a big open room (right in the middle no really private tables, but still was nice) and overlooking the ocean.
Always good service and tasty food at Tramici
The lady serving us was excellent. Beautiful smile. Lovely voice. Very attentive.
The soupd (broccoli) was wonderful.
My eggs benedict was served on some hardtack bread that I could not cut with the serving knife so I asked for a steak knife but still could not cut through the toast. I’ve never had such hard toast.
My wife’s eggs and waffles tasted like they came off a buffet line from earlier in the morning.
We did eat everything so the food could not have been all that bad.
Overall we would certainly come back to the restaurant.
Would not recommend this for anyone not staying at the hotel - big disappointment - not up to open table’s standards- i let my husband down!
Just okay. Had much higher expectations for this resort hotel. We chose this restaurant for date night and it was not what I had hoped for. The first let down was the food. I’ve had much better meals on St. Simons. Our server was cordial and attentive but seemed a bit robotic. The second letdown was the dining room as it was bright and lacked coziness. We would have opted the cozier bar and lounge had not been for the loud live music playing. There was a convention taking place at the time we were there. This would be a great place for a drink at the bar but there are much better dining options around the island. For a real treat, visit Coastal Kitchen where the food, service and ambiance are all top notch.
I love echo for its beautiful views and well done food. Lunch could be improved with more affordable options. Otherwise worth the splurge!
Wonderful service! Food was excellent and presented well.
We had a very nice meal at ECHO.. The service was good, the food was very good. A bit over priced. Dropped a Hondo+ for 2 entries @ $32 each, 1 drink @$14, and 1 desert @ $10. But the food was good. Also a bit loud and close to other diners. But not over the top. Seems like a nice place to go with friends or a special date.
We went here during the Jekyll Island marathon weekend. We chose this location for dinner the night before the race because we could make a reservation for 5 people.
Our server was so wonderful. She was patient and personable. She made recommendations and was so fun.
The ambiance was nice with a casual feel for the amazing food and drink served.
Our food was all scrumptious. We had the cheese plate to start plus few different beers and one glass of one between us. Dinner consisted of two orders of the seasonal short rib ravioli, a grouper sandwich, and fish tacos. My 5 year old had a flatbread pizza as well.
It was a lovely meal in a great atmosphere. We all highly recommend Echo!
Limited menu, odd choices for brunch. Slow service. Dont feel like it is worth the $$
Not many choices without nuts or seafood, some things say gluten free that arent.
Server was delightful, food was excellent! Great location!
Amazing! The staff was attentive & polite. My husband & I had the seared tuna to start then he ordered the grouper & I had the scallops. For desert he had the key lime pie & I had the creme brûlée... Everything was delightful!
Such a beautiful view and awesome place. We go at least once a year.
We were able to sit outside by the ocean. The weather was beautiful and the scene even better. The wait staff were excellent. My husband had the crab sandwich and I the hamburger. Both were delicious. Can't wait to go back.
Unhappy that a pasta meal marked “gluten free available” was made GF by removing the pasta rather than including GF pasta. This fact should have been explained. Too expensive for what we received.
My wife and I stopped overnight at St Simons Island while on our way to Florida. I booked dinner ahead at ECHO after seeing good reviews online. We were not disappointed. Our server, David, was very attentive and offered good choices if we asked. We split a salad, entree, dessert, and a bottle of wine. Everything was excellent. We especially appreciated that the kitchen split our orders on individual plates, saving us having to divide our food at the table. We would definitely go back.
The Echo is our ”go to” place! Menu is always full of fresh new items and a few of the traditional favorites.
Food, service, consistency, and ambience all exceptional.
Food was excellent, as was our server. The restaurant wasn't much for ambiance, no table table clothes in this upscale and up price restaurant, also very bright lighting didn't offer a great feel. All this can and should be fixed.
Excellent breakfast menu, delicious food, lovely service, beautiful views!
We went to Happy Hour before dinner, the King and Prince has a great happy hour, atmosphere is warm with lots of interesting seating some of it with ocean views. I like the white wine. Perhaps we started too early but when our reservation time rolled around we were extremely happy and feeling reckless enough to order more drinks at the table (a mistake, since more drinks were the last thing we needed). We ordered fries to get us started and they seemed convincingly home-made. I ordered the Coastal Cobb salad and my husband ordered something that looked to me like beef stew over something or other. Whatever it was, he really liked it. It was hard to focus on my salad but I can tell you that it included some very tasty shrimp (blackened perhaps?), some crispy bacon in chunks I think rather than crumbles, and quite a lot of smoked salmon. And there was lettuce of course and other stuff, all of it good. We agreed that we would definitely do dinner here again, choose the same meals, and try to be in better shape to fully appreciate it all. Our server was charming.
Absolutely amazing. Went here for a first date and it was a good look! The inside is pretty nice, unfortunately I went at night and could not see the beachfront but it was still a great experience. The food was amazing, the staff was great. I have no complaints.
Long wait for food. Food was mediocre.
Beautiful location. Excellent service. Good food and drinks
Went for Sunday brunch. Seafood omelet was best Ive ever had.
Everything was great
Food was amazing and the waiter was wonderful
I believe Echo should consistently be rated four stars. The outdoor, sea side seating is unrivaled. The indoor seating offers a great sea view, or a lively bar scene. The wait staff are personable and professional, and the food is beautifully presented, with generous portions. The prices are on the higher side, but overall are in line with resort and beach front pricing. I believe it would be a good place for a date, a business dinner, or a special family gathering ... and worth four stars overall.
Beautiful views great service! Nice meal.
Glad you enjoyed your meal! We look forward to seeing you again! :)
