We have been to this restaurant 30 plus times in the last 10 years, but have not been in the last 2 years. With that said we will not be returning, I must say ambience/decor is the same, so we were very happy when we walked in. The music was much louder than we remembered, but since the restaurant was empty we thought we wouldn’t noticed it once it filled up... it was still empty when we left at 7:30pm. We arrived at 5:45pm and happy hour specials were never mentioned. Not a big deal to us as we were interested in our favorites, which were on the menu. Miso soup super salty and not hot. Eel roll was crispy/ fried inside??? Pork potstickers came on a black plate with a thick black sauce on the bottom with the potstickers on top they had chunks of fat inside, could not chew them (sent them back) I did ask for dipping sauce prior to sending back it had no flavor as well. Nothing like they use to be.
Szechuan beef this was not anything like it use to be or what the description is on the menu: suppose to be tenderloin, green beans, sesame seeds. I got chunky beef with fat and grizzle, mushrooms, Bok Choy, raw green beens, and tons of sesame seeds. Rice was not offered until I was half through this entree. I was done and we were waiting for my husbands entree and we were laughing about our experience when we asked the server about his entree and she told us we never ordered it. That’s really funny to us because she told us how it was prepared in detail, we said great he’ Have that. Again she said we never ordered it and that we were still undecided as we had told her earlier we had a late lunch. So if that is the case should she not have asked us if we decided on an entree for my husband who sat and watched me eat.
Only negatives were they only had one bottle of the wine we chose and I was SHOCKED THAT THERE WAS AN AUTOMATIC 20 gratuity added and I was never told. Because if that I will never return. We were a party of 4
Very dramatic decor and a wide selection of different Asian food
Suggest the Scottish salmon
This was our first time dining at Echo and we were thrilled with the attentive service, the selections, and the taste of our dishes. We will definitely return!
Service was ok. Slower than usual and somewhat nonexistent. They appeared short staffed. Food was excellent as always.
A pity that you have taken the Snapper off your menu.
The fish we had was too sweet. ( Fish with bok-choy )
The drinks by the glass were more expensive than comparable restaurants.
First time dining at Echo. Very crowded and loud on inside. Requested outdoor seating
and restaurant accommodated. Still loud due to large groups. The complimentary endamame was a nice plus. The veggie spring rolls were good. The shrimp fried rice was bland and relatively tasteless. The service was spotty and rushed. Overall, not that fabulous.
Unusual Asian cuisine cooked to perfection.
Food was very disappointing, especially given its relationship with the Breakers.
Definitely pricy for the food. More scales to aesthetics than comfort and taste
Food was good. I had the Szechuan beef and it was decent. Not the best but not the worst. The spicy tuna roll was delicious. Overall I thought the experience was good. Will go back.
Tasteless Asian Wanna be.
The food was very bland, even what the server described as spicy.
The terrace is quite nice, but the inside of the restaurant is very dark and noisy.
Happy Hour is totally worth it!! The best sushis you could ever find!
Liv and i had a blast baby
The place was nice, the service good, took a while for the food but was worth it, super tasty delicious, we definitely recommend.
One of our favorite dinner spots, great food, ambience, and service.
our waiter , Will, was great. He addressed people by name, help with allergies and the service was good.
Great food, great service, relaxed atmosphere.
Fresh and delicious. Amazing flavors.
Pre show so fun!
Fabulous, as always.
Birthday. The food was amazing. My fiancé and mother in-law took the waiters suggestion and had the snapper. Multiple times my fiancé said it was the best fish she ever had. That’s saying a lot since she is a tough critic. We will return soon.
Ate here last week and had a group of 6. There is a back patio which is private and seats about 3 tables which is nice when you have a group of 6. Food excellent but we were shocked to hear our server at 10pm tell us if we wanted to drink more of same wine they were out of it despite it being owned by The Breakers. Hello but a smart person would have gone to The Breakers and brought back the wine we had drank several bottles of.
What was even more shocking was the server told us we need to go to The Breakers if we wanted to have more drinks!! We left and honestly we were all shocked. Isn’t the big ticket bottle of wines???
I guess not so don’t think to come here and drink wine after 10pm! Laughable!
Don’t order he soufflés. They look pretty and what not but they’re not real soufflés. It wasn’t cooked through so the inside was runny and cold (why?). Service was also fair.
Our food and drinks were fabulous and our server was above and beyond awesome!
Family dinner. Sat on outside deck. Lovely setting. Great service, terrific menu, super service.
Excellent meal and our server was on top of everything.
Never disappoints, never fails to deliver quality in quantity
The best ribs
Great evening ... the food was excellent. We loved the atmosphere. The service was excellent. Just a great evening!
As always an excellent meal was enjoyed by everyone. Gotta get the soufflé....never had a bad flavor yet.
My only issue is lighting...very difficult to read a menu since it is quite dark.
The best Japanese experience, service and management on palm beach island. Joseph, Dan, Jessica and the rest of the team make sure every time you have a Echo experience.
Be prepared for a little noise, but it’s bustling for a reason- the food is outstanding and the drinks are great too!
We always have the best time at Echo, but wanted to share with a group of family visiting from out-of town- they loved it! The service was/is impeccable, as were the new menu items we were offered (Asian Street Corn)! One of my absolute favorite restaurants.
We love this place. We come here every Easter and it’s always phenomenal. This time we came for my husbands 40th and we were running late. They were so accommodating! We got there half hour late and they sat us away from the crowd because we had two little ones. As soon as we got there they gave us complimentary edamame and gave us a cake to sing happy birthday with the kids (also complimentary!). It is a little pricey, but totally worth it. The service was impecable! Our glasses were never empty (water or wine) and they were prompt to get our kids their food (toddlers). My son has bad allergies and they made a special meal for him! Really one of the best restaurants in palm beach! Can’t wait to go back for Easter next year! Ps- we are from NY- otherwise we would go there more often!
Plan on many return trips far too many incredible options for one meal!
It was great
This was one of the best date nights my boyfriend and I have ever had. The setting was romantic, the food was delicious, the service was outstanding. The best suhsi we have had in Palm Beach County. It was his first time on the island so we were expecting to pay much more than we actually did. I highly recommend!!
Everything from the valet to the final surprise desert was brilliantly cared and organized. My reservation spot was ready for me and my date as soon as I stepped into the restaurant.
Happy hour pricing on the patio and super yummy. Which I had gotten a drink menu to look at though.
Wonderful food and service. Everything looked tasted outstanding!!! The waiter's recommendations were spot on. However, the techno music too much and it gave myself and another attendee a headache. Too loud and too much bass. Good for the bar area but not for dinner with friends.
