Echo is so so amazing!!! This is my third time here, and it never gets old. Love it so much, would recommend to everyone.
Celebration of a friends birthday. Everything was great!
This is our 2nd and last time coming here
The best. As always. Never disappoints.
The food was disappointing. Just not favor full. Peking duck pancakes greasy and not firm enough to roll. Ginger beef good but no ginger. The waiter was outstanding. Just bad luck to be next to a very noisy table
Excellent food and service!!!
The souffle here about sums up our dining experience -- pleasing to the eye but full of fluff. I write this review only to help others not waste a beautiful evening at this establishment. I love Asian food (having enjoyed it my entire life), and a good friend made the reservation for my wife's birthday, so maybe the expectations were high. The only things I enjoyed were the company of my wife and friends, edamame and my scotch. Couldn't get our server's attention to get basic things (water; soy sauce for the sushi; food); portions were tiny, sodium-infused, and overpriced (don't mind paying for quality food); lo mein was actually chow mein no better than what you get at Panda Express or a buffet (no exaggeration); steak was not done per instructions; kimchi fried rice was basically too much butter and salt with some kimchi (not much flavor -- don't get me started on the kimchi) thrown in. And the lettuce wraps? Stick with PF Chang's. (In fact, the quality at PF Chang's overall is substantially better.) Maybe a 20% tip should not be automatically included, and the service at least could be better? Echo seems to want to maximize profit without offering a commensurate level of quality and service. Not cool.
I don't know how else to say it: the food and service really suck here. Go somewhere else.
The food was dazzling! If you like this kind of cuisine, you will love it here. The service was top-notch. They were very helpful and attentive. Interesting drinks from the bar and the wine list is decent. I have been here a few times and I am always impressed with the restaurant.
First of all, I never give a restaurant a bad review. Especially during this time when everyone seems to be struggling in this industry.
However, my wife and I had a sub par experience.
We sat down and before we could look at the menu the waitress asked what we wanted to order . Then they sat down the complimentary edamame and before we took one bite they asked if we were done.
We like to space our courses out so we ordered appetizers first, we had to tell the waitress twice that we were not ready to order our main course.
Now on to the food. The pot stickers were ok but bland. The flavor profile on the sushi rolls were bland and were very lack luster.
We didn’t bother to finish anything. We went back to the Breakers where we were staying and ordered the duck empanadas, which were fabulous. I know Echo is affiliated with the Breakers, so therefore expected better service and food.
The meal was fantastic. We ordered several dishes from the kitchen but mostly ate sushi. It was phenomenal. Our kids tried eel for the first time. The sushi chef Ryan did an amazing job at expanding our kids' palate. He made a couple of recommendations that was outstanding.
Appetizers weren’t too good. Our main dishes were delicious!!
The food, atmosphere, and service were all top notch. Menu items are pricey as one would expect. However, the portion sizes are very small. Don't come here too hungry unless you're ready to spend a small fortune. I would definitely go back and recommend Echo to anyone visiting West Palm Beach.
Loud, dated decor and overpriced. Service was excellent
Seated promptly. Everything was Aplus even remembered the cable for my husband’s birthday with a beautiful coconut tower which had a happy birthday on it from the restaurant. Which added a special touch we also ordered the soufflé which was outstanding. Fantastic evening.
Cynthia our server was absolutely one of the best ever!!!!!!Echo is highly recommended.
Just a great dining experience every time we go.
We went to Echo to celebrate my birthday and it happens to fall during Restaurant week. My husband had the Restaurant week menu and loved it. The salmon was delicious, as was the big portion of shrimp egg roll. I need to eat gluten free so I had the Vietnamese spring rolls and the pork Pad Thai. Both were tasty, hot. They brought out a coconut merangue for my dessert. It was light and fluffy. The service was spectacular. We very much enjoyed ourselves. I definitely recommend going to Echo.
Our experience at Echo was very deceiving. Our server greeted us, handed us the menus and immediately asked if we needed a few more minutes to order.... You think ?? Then he kept pressing us to order every two minutes. We felt as if we were in a fast food restaurant. We quickly understood that they had to move tables quickly as there is a shuttle that keeps bringing guests from The Breakers to the restaurant. We ordered a bottle of wine and our food. The service was so pushy, people kept coming at the table as we were eating to ask if we were finished. The food lacked in taste and presentation and was nothing but fair. I am being generous. I have had better sushi at Wholefoods. We arrived at 5:45pm and we were handed our tab at 6:40. Less than an hour for drinks, a bottle of wine, starters. a main course and dessert. My husband and I were very disappointed. Overall, over rated restaurant and over priced for the quality of service and food.
We always enjoy dining at Echo. For the past several years we always choose to dine outside since it quieter, not last night. We had a early reservation so it was nice and quiet, once it started filling up the noise level escalated between a barking dog in a carriage, which should be kept at home, crying children and others talking so loud you could hear table conversation. We will stick to dining there during the week verses the weekend.
Great food and nice staff
Complimentary valet is convenient. Staff greeted us upon entering and seated us right away. Waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable of menu. Calamari is a must have and the soufflé was amazing.
Fantastic service, Awesome Food - the Chef's sampler was the choice as you get to have so many options to try. Table was ready upon arrival for Reservation, hostess were great in seating us. Party of 4 and all enjoyed the experience.
Great experience all the way around
Food was good as well as the service.
The hostesses were very friendly and professional. The Ahi Tuna tacos were spectacular
Very disappointed in the food
Great food and service. A bit pricey and kind of noisy...
This is one of our favorites in Palm Beach! Fantastic service, AMAZING food, great vibe. Love that we feel comfortable dressed to the nines or casual and comfy. This is a phenomenal dinner spot! Can’t wait to return.
Third reservation at The Breakers for our Anniversary and this restaurant did not acknowledge it WHATSOEVER UNTIL DESSERT WHEN THE WAITER BROUGHT OUT 2fortune cookies with two flower buds and a Happy Anniversary Planck SAYNG “I heard you are celebrating an anniversary “ “happy Anniversary” —never said it when he introduced himself and the hostesses were “ditsy” with NO REFERENCE TO THE OCCASION. So this is 2 OUT OF 3 restaurants that Failed! Whether it was OPEN TABLE NOT COMMUNICATING OR THE BREAKERS FAILING …I AM THE CUSTOMER SND YOU BOTH FAILED. 33% & Matthew , the manGer of the Sunday nie failure was to have called BOTH FOLLOWING RESTAURANTS . Tsk, tsk you guys get an F
Overrated, overpriced, mediocre food at best. Service was great so no complaints there but we have had better Asian food at many places in South Florida. Most food came out warm but not hot, california roll smelled fishy, duck smelled gamey and wagyu beef was ...meh. For $300 (250 plus tip) for two people there are SO many better options in SoFla. But again, no issues at all with servers, they were all great.
Thought the food was overrated & overpriced….
Service & atmosphere were excellent. A couple of the dishes were very good but others we redo do or bland.
The Peking Duck was disappointing.
great sushi, and great food. I would recommend and return.
Nice place , good food and great service. Tables are far enough apart.
Excellent meal and service celebrating a special occasion
Great Service. Extremely Loud.
The food was good. Our table was too small and they delivered the dishes too quickly. Drink delivery took forever.
