Elena is the best waitress ever!
The food was great. Everything was excellent. Server was pleasant and attentative. They were ccomodating, given that it was close to closing and we were 30 minutes late.
My friends and I can't get enough of Ecco...we love the service, drinks, and food! Ecco has the overall package!!
We loved this place and would definitely come back!!
Went for the first time last week really enjoyed the drinks! Food was good. I had the chicken parm and my friend had the short rib. Both were delicious! Would definitely recommend for people looking for good drinks and a lively atmosphere!
Overall, Ecco was a great spot for a dinner date. The drinks were spectacular, ambiance was perfect. Only thing was the entrees could have been a little bit better, they weren't anything special, but the prices and the drinks/bread/calamari app/cream puff dessert made up for that. Would go again!
Overpriced food with mediocre service. Waiter did not know the difference between wild and farm raised salmon. Had the lobster risotto, which was a bit "soupy" and the lobster had a "metallic" taste.
Fantastic food and experience. Nice cocktail, wine, and craft beer selection. Will definitely be back!
Excellent food! We went for Easter and for Mother's Day. Great service and great drinks. I highly recommend going for brunch. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict is next level!
interesting drink selections, please try the ale aged in bourbon casks; entrees are generally very well done, except the duck confit risotto had rendered the duck meat into the texture of jerky. It should not have been served.
Very welcoming and cozy. Food was prepared very well. Pork chop dinner and ragu bolenease was awesome. We will be back.
Comfortable environment, very good cuisine, and friendly staff. The location in East Boston is surprisingly easy to access-- first right exit out of the tunnel from downtown and there you are, with easy free parking in the back. Blue line would be easy also. This was our first visit, and we consider it a real find.
Excellent food and service! Everyone loved their meals and drinks and wait staff was very attentive.
I have always had dinner at Ecco and love the choices. First time for Brunch and was extremely impressed. The service and quality of the food was awesome. Lobster Eggs Benedict was Delilah. The lobster meat was fresh and a great amount. The Yogurt Parfait with fresh berries was huge. French Toast with carmilized bananas was perfect. Wait staff was excellent. Great Brunch for an amazing price on a holiday was a delightful experience
We went for our anniversary and it was great but the food took about 30 mins to come out. Drinks and apps came fast but the entree took a while. We had both had another round of drinks and some waiting time before we received our entree. Waiter was apologetic though
Excellent neighborhood restaurant in East Boston. Bright spot for the area, near Logan and the adjacent hotels. Fresh oysters, a great shrimp scampi and a mango cheesecake. Highly recommended!
The experience at Ecco was great. Portions are not huge but the quality and taste of the food was excellent.
My friends and I had dinner at Ecco last Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I should say from the outset that this is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston, hands down. This is Back Bay- and South End-quality food, absolutely delicious, presented beautifully, with easy (and free!) parking, tasty cocktails, and friendly, knowledgeable servers, but without the high-end downtown prices. What's not to like?! To be clear, it's not "cheap eats" by any means; it's just that you would easily pay 20-50% more for this kind of meal in the trendier parts of the city -- and that's not even including the additional expense of valet parking (or a parking ticket) that you'd incur in those other neighborhoods. I had the grilled pork chop, perfectly cooked medium as I requested, which came with a creamy risotto and some grilled asparagus. It was yummy. One friend enjoyed the Caesar salad and the chicken piccata, and the other raved about his tomato and ricotta salad followed by the pan-seared salmon. We shared the tiramisu and a chocolate cake special for dessert, and we all left full and happy!
Good vibe, decor, great food and drinks. Been a few times & always pleased. Seems to have been an off-night for service tho. Asked us to move to accommodate larger party. Brought salad with meal. No real connection there. But would definitely recommend.
Good find for friends staying nearby.Food was very good, and one of the party was gluten sensitive, so good options were available.
Excellent food, excellent service. Recommend it.
Happy to find such a gem on in East Boston, great service with excellent pacing, very creative food covering an eclectic range of cuisines, and a bar creating very tasty cocktails. I'd be happy to return!
If they want better reviews, they need to step it up a notch or 2, with cloth tablecloths, since they already have the napkins, love the dinner I had, also what my honey had, drinks were good, lamb lollypops, my favorite, ❤
The food was all outstanding. Service, including recommending a wine we really enjoyed, was great too. Only thing we'd change: turn the music down a few levels. While the song choices were more relaxing this visit, it was still pretty loud...and last visit the choices were not so relaxing and made conversation difficult (even in a relatively empty room that night).
Great food. Can recommend the Traditional Columbian Breakfast. Don't miss the Ecco Loco cocktail!
Service was slow and food mediocre. Too expensive for offerings - there are plenty of better places nearby at a cheaper price.
We came to Boston from New York for my boyfriends birthday. We searched for a good restaurant and saw the reviews for this place and decided to go. The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. From the first bite to the last, I savored every bite. We both had the sirloin steak but chose different sides than what was on the menu and there were completely okay with that. We went with the parmesean truffle risotto and grilled asparagus. So many awesome flavors. We only waited like 20 mins for our food and the sever was absolutely wonderful. Lights were dimmed so it had a bit of a romantic setting. My boyfriend is a chef himself so he's very picky and he also thought the food was incredible. Well worth the 30 dollar plate for sure. I would highly recommend.
I was at Ecco for Valentine's day, and the food was really good. We had Pan seared salmon with vegetables, and honestly it was great. The only downside is that the staff were outnumbered and the kitchen was running food too slow. We waited 45 mins for our dish.
Hi, was my second time in Ecco I really like the restaurant, decoration is really good and drinks are good too.
My husband and I decide spend our first Valentin's days as a marriage couple in Ecco and overall the experience for me was okay, I know Valentine's Day is a busy day but I was so upset about the way of the Manager she was so rude from the beginning with a couple next to us in the bar and then with us! Really? The manager! When I ask. Was really sad, her aptitude, and the way she talks.
I am not sure if I want to come back soon.
