   Overall a solid experience. Food is very good. Our server was gracious and efficient. The rest of the team were too serious. They need to work on their warmth. It would make a big difference in the overall experience.

   I came here with my husband and two adult sons. We were seated promptly. The ambiance is charming. We didn't get to try their signature drinks but they sounded lovely. Our dishes were scrumptious. We loved their pita bread and the grilled octopus app was fantastic. There wasn't a crumb left on our plates. Would love to dine here again when we visit Portland.

   we have visited this restaurant many times. the food is great, we've tried the salmon, skate, scallops, chicken, lamb, and of course the feta cheese mezze. All excellent. The space is beautiful. our server, Jonathan, is friendly, welcoming, attentive and quite knowledgeable. We will be back ! The wine list is one of the best and most reasonably priced that we have seen in Portland.

   We enjoyed the food very much, but the overall vibe of the restaurant was negative. The staff didn't seem like they really wanted to be there.

   We have eaten at Ebb and Flow several times since it opened. The food and the entire operation has gotten steadily better. There is a fair sized bar section, but the noise level is moderate. Our dietary needs are such that we asked for modifications in the dishes we ordered. The chef accommodated us without difficulty. The food itself was well prepared and tasty. Our server was very good. She also was knowledgeable about the wines and made a good recommendation. The whole experience was quite good.

   From the freshly made pita of the mezze to the monkfish special to the wine list, not terribly long but extremely good, this is a fine restaurant! The chef takes care with his pairings, allowing each ingredient to shine, rather than producing the muddle of too many tastes that seems to be popular these days. The service was impeccable, with our waitperson showing the knowledge of a sommelier. Highly recommended!

   Ate here twice in a week. The first time was a dinner meeting. It was outstanding and the dinner set the stage for a successful business discussion. The food and service was so good that I made a reservation for dinner date with my wife. Six friends decided to join us. The two dinners totaled about 20 dishes. All good to excellent! My favorite was the short ribs and farro.

   We dined here on Valentines Day and had a great dinner. Service was excellent and attentive. I had the braised short rib and my wife had the roast chicken, both were excellent. The short rib was the star of the show, so tender and delicious, I could have eaten a couple more of them. The beet salad and eggplant appetizer were also excellent, served with a fresh warm pita bread drizzled with olive oil. Highly recommend Ebb & Flow if you're in the mood for Med cuisine.
