Food was. Yummy & affordable. Service was great too. Thanks
There are very good hamburgers, including vegetarian ones including an "Impossible" burger that was pronounced "delicious" by its consumer. The regular beef burger that I had was cooked to order: medium rare. Service was prompt and attentive, but then the restaurant was very quiet at lunch. A decent selection of brews and some wine. All-in-all, a very nice casual eatery.
Food was subpar and environment has seen better days
Vegetarian burger really good
Excellent for lunch meeting. Quite, Food was excellent as was service. Convenient location for me.
The menu is not what is on OpenTable. So when we got there we were very disappointed that the prices were wrong, items were missing and nothing looked appealing.
The wait-staff are very attentive; unfortunately the kitchen is bush-league. Al dente Spaghetti is not in their lexicon. French fries are average or less. All in all Eat represents uninspired cooking. However, the price point for all this was not commensurate with the mediocre food.
Good hamburgers , great fries. An everyday place w limited menu nothing fancy but a casual place and relaxing?
They have what is called an "Impossible Burger" which is a plant based burger that is awesome! I'll go back just for that.
Friendly staff and good food keep me coming back! :)
Atención very good, return of time an time , no disturbios, excelent flavor and presentación th e dishes
I just need to start with the fact that the servers are very friendly, and the food came out promptly, and was correct. I ordered their version of a Moscow Mule, and it was very watery. Couldn't taste the alcohol or the ginger beer, which was also flat. Not thrilled for $15. Ordered a burger medium, which arrived well done (same happened last time I was there), but the house fries were very good. Overall in my opinion, it ended up being too pricey for the quality. It was also very warm in the dining room near the windows.
We had a chance to get brunch at a fine establishment. Normally the corner seat would be awesome but the dusty window frames that were placed too close to our table was the only downside of our visit to Eats. Besides the poor choice of table, everything else was great.
My new favorite place to catch up with a friend! It's not loud, and not expensive but the food is GREAT!
It was a nice meal, and the prices were reasonable. The waiter was very nice, and the other employees were friendly as well.
The cafe itself is a little rundown. The chairs were wobbly, and the walls were dirty. Time for a refresh.
It was a slow afternoon. Service was leisurely and the food was ok. Good French Onion soup, but my wife's ground chicken burger was so-so. Interior looked somewhat shopworn and scuffed. Nothing special, so I wouldn't go out of my way to return.
The restaurant was nice enough but there was very little AC and it was a hot night. The food was pretty good but we had oysters and burgers and I thought the price for the burgers was pretty high. The buns were like the buns you buy at the grocery store. Expensive even by NYC standards. Service was pretty good.
We really enjoyed the oysters and signature martinis. The muscles with home made french fries were really good as well as shrimps from the appetizers menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant .
Service was attentive and atmosphere was so nice on a hot Sunday afternoon with their windows open. Too bad the food was so awful. My Eggs Benedict were on English muffins like hockey pucks and the salmon that came with it was so salty it was almost inedible. The eggs were poached but cooked very hard. The sautéed spinach was definitely frozen.
Even the French press coffee, normally a treat in a restaurant, tasted reused and stale.
For a restaurant that could be a neighborhood staple they need to improve the food quality significantly.
Food was average, restaurant could have been cleaner and cooler, service was ok, but $110+ for a couple of hamburgers, shrimp cocktail and two drinks.
Lamb burger was good. Mac and cheese was very bad.
Definitely not vegetarian friendly. Would never recommend mac and cheese. Everything else was fine.
Came for brunch with a friend after a run and it was delightful. This was our second visit to Eats and we were happy to return. Friendly service, great ambiance, and the food was tasty. Highly recommend the blueberry pancakes - and the French press coffee!
Always the best. Oysters and martinis. Friendly environment. Nicest people. All their burgers are excellent
Excellent service, great Oysters, good ambience, I really recommend this place!!
Best Oysters ever, I really recommended
Their oyster and martini special is amazing. Good food, service and ambiance.
Great for lunch. Love their salads.
Excellent burger with caramelized onions and skinny French fries, which was cooked as requested. Service was prompt and courteous. They have decent wines by the glass and the prices are very reasonable for both food and beverages. it quiet enough to have a conversation.
This is one of our go to places. Love the fried oysters, husband loves the raw Blue points. Wish they did grilled or roasted oysters and bring back some of the additional main entrees, more seafood than just salmon. Wines by the glass could be improved upon. Small plates are very good and the main reasons for going, after oysters are the burgers each is exceptional. Personally fond of the lamb burger.
The turkey burgers are extremely delicious! Great & attentive waitstaff. Great spot for hanging out with friends.
We love oysters! So this an ok deal for Blue Points. The best place in NYC to go is Crave. They have the best oysters and during Happy Hour the oysters are $1.50 each. Blue Points are the least desirable oysters on the market.
Ordered the kale pear salad and the chicken burger. The burger was great and the salad was refreshing. Space is cozy and a nice coffee shop type atmosphere.
The hamburger a midday treat
The moules not so
Dinner and drinks with family.
Excellent neighborhood restaurant—courteous, efficient service, good food.
Service is great, cocktails are good too. They have a daily special with oysters and martini’s for something like $20, which is great value. However, I just think that when the shucker Opens an oyster that looks rather smushed or really small compared to all others; he should remove that one and shuck another one. With food, it is all about the presentation- otherwise it makes it look a cheap place and doubting even if the oysters are truly fresh or ok to eat. Small details make a deference when you look for that special place to go eat oysters.
The french Onion soup is amazing. I damn near ate the bowl lol. So good. The staff is also was very friendly.
We ordered omelettes, but then the waiter came back to the table and said the chef wouldn’t put “protein” in the omelette.. ( I order lox in my omelettes all the time ). I have never of this being refused, but we weren’t offered any explanation. I changed my order to a chicken burger, which came out raw, so I asked for it to be cooked more. When it came back from the kitchen, it didn’t have onions or cheese, which was how it originally was.
In addition, we were never offered more coffee, and the staff were very inattentive to anything going on. The manager even came over at one point to ask how things were. We said they weren’t so good, but she just continued walking by the table. She obviously didn’t want to hear about any issues.
Not going back there ever again. There’s a reason they were empty on a Sunday for brunch.
Great drinks the fig cosmo is always a winner! I miss the ceviche which is no longer on the menu.
Burger was great
