Immediate seating, fast service, friendly staff, large portions but the food didn’t seem to have much flavor. May have better luck with other entrees. Maybe worth a second look sometime.
The food was very bland almost tasteless. She had stir fried seafood with undercooked (rock hard) broccoli. I had a noodle soup bowl with seafood that was fresh and cooked well but was mostly tasteless. Both dishes desperately needed some spices.
In AC for Miss America pageant. Ate here 3 times. Had three different dishes, and all were excellent!
They did not serve good Chinese food. It was edible however and did not make us sick. We did not even feel our left overs were worth taking with us. The amount of food was nice. While not expensive it was not cheap for Chinese food. And the quality of the meal was on par at best with the cheapest Chinese food we have had anywhere. The Singapore noodles were weak in flavor and the the flavor that was there just did not match we have been accustomed to over dozens and dozen of other times we have had Singapore noodles. The Beef Chow Fun was not weak in flavor but the flavor was off in someway. It has a somewhat burnt bitter tastes. The service was fast and efficient.
Right off the boardwalk great food good sake definitely would recommend
Always great service! Sau was awesome! Food was delish.
This was our second time eating there. The service was great. Our waitress was very funny. The food is fresh and tastes great. The salt and pepper calamari is amazing! Can not say anything bad about East wind.
Only thing worse than service and vibe was the food. After long wait arrived cold, greasy and tasteless. Our entire party took too Days to recover normal gastric rhythms after this disaster.
Way too busy on Saturday, July 7 was not equipped with enough servers. Food came out in shifts Some people got their dinners other had to wait. Major complaint was with credit card at the end of the night ran it six times said it was declined even thou no problem on our end . We actually called customer service at the restaurant And said there was no problem on our end.Now we are left with six charges on our credit card having to Dispute all of them luckily credit card is great and is handling everything
Food is fresh and good. Very reasonably priced. Portions feed 2.
Last minute birthday dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Great meal and very good value. Food was very tasty Our waitress, I think her name is Wan, was so much fun. She could not do enough to make our meal very enjoyable. Make reservations as it can be a bit of a wait otherwise.
Great experience! Try the XO fried rice it is amazing!
Delicious food we had a great table at the window looking out at the boardwalk. ... Mike the manager was absolutely wonderful... he came over to the table and asked if we liked the view.. of course we did..
Our waitress was so sweet Sophie made sure we had everything we needed..
Sophie was the highlight of our visit.. when we go back we will ask for Sophie
Did not have our reservation in the system. When we pushed they saw it after refreshing their system. Made no effort to apologize.
Food was average. One and done.
Food here so delicious, we came back again next evening for dinner. Although our favorite server, Kenny, wasn’t there, great service is always reliable. We got Tomina as server, also friendly and helpful. Tonight we tried the Shrimp Pad Thai. Unlike other pad Thai’s we’ve tried, this dish was garnished w/ whole peanuts , not crushed. It had plentiful small shrimps that was well distributed within the dish to ensure each bite of noodles, had a bite of shrimp. I added a few shakes of Sriacha for more “heat”(spicy). Since the memory for flavors of salt-pepper calamari and the seafood noodle soup still lingered on my tongue from last night, I had to order it again today. Even having the same dishes 2 nights in a row, my tastebuds were dazzled and delighted by the taste. I love that the flavores are consistent. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the food and service. I even met the manager, Paula, who was also a pleasure and made us feel welcomed. Eastwind has great food and if you disagreed, I bet you’ll still return for the servers, Kenny, Tomina and Chang, they make you feel so welcomed and taken care of. Lots of smiles from everyone working there, which is usually rare at an Asian restaurant.
Great food. Super friendly service. Chef came out to say hello. Best Chinese food I ever had
Kenny, our server, friendly and super helpful w/ great recommendations for dinner. He suggested Stir fry shrimp & Scallops w/ Brown sauce instead of wasabi (b/c hubby doesn’t like spicy). My husband was thrilled with the taste & extremely satisfied. Ordered the Salt-Pepper Calamari, it was superb! I got the Seafood noodle soup and it was also tasty, filling and very satisfying. Excellent meal and will definitely dine here again.
The overall experince was terrible ,,,food was horrible ,,, and waitress and or waiter was always rushing us,,,I would not recommend 2 others
Food was great and our waiter, so nice and professional. Our first time but not our last.
Disappointing..despite previous positive reviews, I must say that these past 2 dines did not live up to those accolades. First of all, 5 ribs for $13? They used to give 6 and as far as my take out order, the past few times I've been shortchanaged -- last month I got take out walnut shrimp for $25, a bit pricey buy admittedly delicious..but I only got 6 shrimp and I'd ordered the same exact dish dine - in and I got 8 shrimp.
This last trip, we ordered their spare ribs at the table and got 5 ribs but the take out order contained just 4! Why on earth are they charging the same amount for dine in as take out and giving less food?! What a rip off! It's obvious that they're doing this based on the assumption that you won't notice until too far away to do anything about it. Well, I hope this review DOES do something about this issue.. I'll think twice about ever dining there / getting take out from eastwind again.
Have been meaning to try this place for a while; great experience.
Will definitely go back!
Service was efficient. Waiter was friendly and the restaurant was easily accessible from the Boardwalk.
Excellent food . Should have better location
As always, the food at Eastwind was delicious. The service was great and the food arrived quickly.
Wah is a great server and was able to answer all questions about the menu, and made some great suggestions. I will definitely be going back soon!
Nothing special. Large portions but could use seasoning.
Had dinner at Eastwind for New Years Eve before a show at Resorts Casino. very good food, fast service, tasty drinks, nice waiter & nice atmosphere.
The food was very good and really did not take that long before it arrived. The waitress that we had was very pleasant and checked on us often to see if we needed anything. We went there as part of our New Years celebration. We do plan on returning in the near future.
Went on New Years Eve with a couple friends . Waiter seemed a little inexperienced and food was just ok . I know It is supposed to be very good so we may give it another try .
Great time. Everything went very smoothly food was quick to come out. Everyone got something different and everyone was Happy with their selection
Mei, our requested server, was as on point as usual. Very gracious, cherry, anticipating our every need, even pouring our tea for us a few times . Unlike other waitstaff at this restaurant, Mei came over to out table a few times asking how everything was. Can't wait to go back again.,marty b.
tHE FOOD WAS TOO HIGH FOR SUCH SMALL PORTIONS AND IT WAS OK NOT GREAT. I COULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE AT THE CHINESE STORE DOWN THE STREET FOR A 3RDOF THE PRICE. FOR $18 I GOT A SMALL PORTION NO DRINK OR APPETIZER. ITS PROBABLY WORTH IT IF YOU COME BEFORE 6PM AND GET THE 3 COURSES FOR $17. WHICH IS CLEARLY LESS THAN MY ONE PLATE WHICH WAS NO LARGER THAN THE SPECIAL MAIN COURSE. AND THE WAITRESS WAS NOT HELPFUL AND WAS ANNOYED WITH MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MENU WHICH WAS NOT CLEAR....NOT HAPPY!
Great food, as always. Prompt and courteous service.
Restaurant was busy, and usual great service suffered. Food remains excellent.
Went because of an offer. Little chaotic and numerous guests around us complained about being served dinner before the appetizer.
The restaurant was good for viewing the Show Me Your Shoes Parade What fun!!!!
This was not our first visit. The food is very tasty and the staff is warm and friendly.
Cute restaurant off of the casino in Resorts. We love the food and the atmosphere. We like sitting at the tables looking out at the casino. The tables are spaced far apart & it is a quiet area of the casino. You can sit in an area looking at the boardwalk but the tables are very close together.
Great Chinese noodle bar. Well priced & large portions. We've eaten here several times , first time that the service was rushed. Our main courses came a minute after the appetizers were delivered . We hadn't even starting eating them.
Overpriced but authentic Chinese food; the food is good, but the menu does not have many options. Great place if you have a baby. They are very kid-friendly. Drinks were super cheap compared to the food. I got the pina colada and loved it.
No need to make reservations as ourselves and another person were at the restuarant at 6:30 on a Monday night in the middle of July.
I have been there 2 previous times and enjoyed the food.
You can sit near the Casino or near the Boardwalk. The food is well prepared and large portions so you can mix , match and share. A good variety of entrees, sides and appetizer's are available. There is also a Price Fix menu option with all the courses for 16.99
The total bill for 3 diners without dessert was $82.00.
I would recommend this place to any person visiting the Boardwalk interested in casual dining with an Asian flare.
