Great time! Excellent food and service!
We live on Staten Island, NY and visit Peddler's Village often. When we do we always enjoy dinner at Earl's. It is a great place to relax and recharge. Everyone is extremely pleasant and helpful!
Wonderful meal at Earl´s. This was a ladies getaway and we loved the ambiance and the food. Everything was delicious and the service was good.
Joe and Mike are excellent bartenders and waiters Always have an excellent experience there.
A return visit to Earls. The restaurant was empty, yet service was slow. Chowder was tepid, but the server was no where to be found to correct it. We figure this was a blip and will return, but certainly not up to the standards we've come to expect.
Everytime my husband & i go to Earl’s it’s always amazing! The service is always great & the food is absolutely delicious!
I had been to Earl's before the renovation, so was surprised to see how downscale they became. The tables were peeling polyurethaned wood, not so appetizing. But more importantly, they downscaled the food. Most of it was very bland, and not very appealing to the eye. The chopped salad was mostly chopped lettuce which had turned brown in several pieces. Very little of anything else was noticeable by the eye or taste. The drinks were so sour I returned mine, a little sour mix goes a long way in a drink advertised as a peach margarita. No taste of peach was evident.
The employees, however, were extremely nice and accommodating, and for that gave it a higher rating than it deserved.
Thanks for making my birthday special! It was wonderful!
We went on a Thursday. There was a 3 course special for $35, which we thought was a great option for the middle of the week, especially for locals. The soup was delicious, but then I received my shrimp and grits, there were only 3 shrimp on the plate and the grits were grainy and tasted like they were not fully cooked. If you are going to offer a special you should not short changed the customer. Three shrimp are not enough for an entree. The drinks were just okay and the creme brûlée was delicious, but the bread pudding my husband got was dry. Don’t think we will be returning, which is unfortunate because we live locally.
Service was excellent.
The food was delicious! A bit pricey but very good. Great ambiance and staff.
Delicious and excellent wait staff
We both enjoyed a romantic dinner!
Perfect night for a birthday celebration
We visited Earl's on a weekend getaway to Peddler's Village. We loved the meal and the service was outstanding. We actually had reservations for 7:00, but found ourselves at the restaurant at 6:00 and they seated us with no problems at all. We would definitely eat there again.
Thank you David for your kind words, Our goal is to provide our guests with excellent food and service. Look forward to your return. The Earl's Team
Visit coincided with the peddlers village blueberry festival. Lots of tasty specials that incorporated fresh blueberries. Unique flavors and good service.
Thank you for spending time in the village and visiting us. Each of the festivals through the year we create specials dishes for each of the festivals Peach is next, hope you visit with us again. The Earl's Team
We had a wonderful lunch at Earl’s New American. The appetizers (calamari and meatballs) were very tasty and the turkey sandwiches were delicious. Our server was excellent. We will definitely return.
We are pleased that our team provided you with good food and service. Our team reads your comments and we try to improve and create a nice experience. Next time try our Chop Salad and our Crab Cake sandwich is also a great choice for Lunch. Hope you visit soon. The Earl 's Team
We had steak and it was delicious and cooked perfectly. It’s a bit pricey and they have the same small menu with no daily specials.
Thank you for the recommendation of our steaks. Our culinary team wants you and your guests to have a great experience. Cheer's
My wife and I stayed at the Golden Plough Inn on a week night, and had a wonderful dinner across the road at Earl's New American. The wine (Sauvignon Blanc) was excellent, and our seafood entrees were prepared perfectly. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and the ambiance was cozy and romantic. We certainly give Earl's a very high rating, and will return soon.
Visited Earl's for lunch again and had a very enjoyable time. They were accommodating when one of our party got there early and were great when the remainder of the party arrived. The food was very good and again, they accommodated the requirements of our party (no Capsaicin). Service was excellent, with other members stepping in to help when the primary wait staff was busy. Very enjoyable as usual.
The food here is very good! We made a great meal of delicious appetizers: lobster dumplings, clams casino, short ribs and the chopped salad. Servers were very attentive and pleasant.
We went to Earls for dinner to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Everything was perfect. We were greeted by the pleasant hostess and offered a table in a quiet location as I requested. Our server Julie was the best. She was pleasant, cheerful and was able answer questions related to the menu offerings. My had a delicious salmon dish and I enjoyed the spare ribs. We would certainly eat there again when we are back in the area.
When we first got there we were very skeptical because it seemed to be shift changing from lunch to dinner so there was no Hostess to greet us. The person behind the bar had to do 2 jobs and he seemed overwhelmed so we thought about leaving cause we didn’t get a warm welcome. Boy were we wrong once the hostess got there it was wonderful. The food was great the drinks were amazing and the crème Brûlée was to die for. It was a wonderful time Earl’s gets my seal of approval great place.
Meal and service were very good but noise was higher then expected...for anyone with hearing aids, it will be a struggle. Also of note, tables where we sat were TINY. We had 4 people at a square table (maybe 30in on a side) and the server couldnt find a spot to set a small bread basket (the bread was excellent however).
Great food and great service. Way too loud.
We had a reservation for Friday night and were seated promptly in a booth by the window. Our food was excellent. Rachel was an excellent server too... very friendly and attentive. This was our second dinner visit, and both were excellent. The first time we had dinner in the bar area. Will definitely return.
Good meal with good service. Drinks were also very good, but this system only allows me to post 4 photos with my review. Would return for dinner again!
First visit to Earl’s New American restaurant and was not disappointed in the least. Everything was wonderful and I would recommend anyone reading this to try it out. Thanks for a great time and a wonderful meal.
Not a big menu. Had a steak, was very bland. Probably would not return.
Excellent food and great service!
Heard many good reviews on Earl’s so we gave it a try. Unfortunately, our food was mediocre at best. Order steak dishes and they were tasteless. Dessert was Dim Sum Donuts but the came out undercook in the middle. The Manager was beyond great and insisted on covering our whole bill which we did not request as she overheard we were not satisfied. Service and atmosphere were great but needs some improvement on food quality.
Joe and Mike the Bar staff are very good and accommodating,
Dinner before a show on a Friday night went well with prompt, courteous service from the waitstaff and hostess. Food was very good and we all enjoyed their time there. Thanks, Earl's!
Great experience, food is very good and they have a nice happy hour
Service and food were really wonderful!
Our server, Sal, was great and food was beyond fantastic.
We really enjoyed our dinner experience at Earl's New American. Our waitress was friendly and helpful, without being pushy. Our food was brought to us in a timely manner for all three courses. My husband's clams were delicious as was my She Crab soup, which I had never had before. Our entrees - short ribs for me and shrimp and grits for my husband - were outstanding choices. We both decided on the "Dim Sum" for dessert - and were delighted with the presentation of both the sauces and the "take out" containers of the "Dim Sum".
We would highly recommend Earl's and, when we're down their way again, we'd make a repeat visit.
Wonderful meal and when we asked to move to a larger table so we could spread out we were graciously accommodated. We’ll definitely return. I also loved that there were several gluten free options on the menu.
always delightful, great dishes, wonderful service, good ambiance. We never tired of it.
Unfortunately, the current version of Earl's left us unimpressed. The food was bland with essentially little taste. My steak was overcooked. For the price, in our area, there are better choices to dine where the food taste is superb. At some point we will probably go back and see if this was an aberrancy.
Food was okay. Service was fantastic. Gorgeous restaurant.
