Earls Kitchen + Bar - Downtown Denver
Our server was great; always there when we needed him and very polite and friendly. The steaks we had tasted great! My only complaint was we were seated on the ground level and it was crazy load from other patrons.
Love the food at Earl's especially the half rack of ribs. The seafood chowder may be the best in Denver. My only concern is that, like so many restaurants, the noise level is so high that you have to talk loudly to carry on a conversation.
We brought relatives whose daughter was considering CU as her future University. We wanted to sit on the patio so they could observe 16th Street. We had a wonderful waitress. She was there when we needed someone but didn't bother us when we has a long visit. Food was good although we had to send the fries back because they were just barely warm. Our waitress replaced them with hot ones quickly. Would recommend Earls.
On line menu did not match actual restaurant menu. Very disappointing !!! Will not go back.
Great menu, fun ambiance and a really attentive service!!!!
Always a good experience for lunch, great food and service
Waitstaff gave excellent recommendations, everyone was happy with their food.
From the moment we walked in, it was a good experience!!! Our server Tiffany, was awesome! We ordered appetizers to share and everything was delicious as usual!
The only flaw in our experience was upon visit to the restroom. The women’s bathroom was visibly dirty, and 2 stalls were missing toilet seats!!! One was completely missing & one was broken & sitting in the toilet. No paper towel dispenser, just a roll sitting near the trash. Was told the men’s bathroom wasn’t much better. That part was disappointing.
We were seated about 15 minutes later than our reservation, but everything after that was great! Our server was great and our food was delicious!
We were seated for almost a half hour before receiving our drinks. Everything took a very long time, especially for a Monday night.
We had the most amazing waitress. She was a dark haired gal that was leaving her baby with her mother in law for the first time. Great sense of humor very helpful lots of fun. She is a keeper. You are lucky to have her.
Good restaurant ... some good deals in the offers side menu ... nothing to complain !
Great experience despite being on the loud side with the NCAA March Madness going on. Very busy but our table for 6 was ready, service prompt and effecient and food delicious.
The atmosphere was fantastic. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Service was a bit slow - but they were busy and we enjoyed visiting. I think this wouldn’t work for a quick meal. But if you have the time to visit and enjoy a meal in a great environment, I really recommend this place.
This was a great place to have a business lunch. Waitstaff are very friendly, food is delicious and location can't be beat!
Our server was attentive and the meal was served quickly.
Truffle fries were too salty. Other food was very good. We also had Hot wings, poke dip, dynamite rolls, spicy tuna rolls, and chicken street tacos. Our waitress was very patient because my girlfriends were very indecisive about their drinks. Hostess was very accommodating with where we wanted to sit. I would like to back for upstairs patio and bar.
Server couldn't be bothered to pay attention; served a dry burger with no bun...didn't notice only 2 bites taken 15 minutes after a bun came out.
Cost of mean was far higher than the quality of food and service.
Food was excellent, but noise lever was very loud!
When a group of people are going to lunch together, it is because either they are having a lunch meeting or wanting to catch up with one another. We could barely hear over the din and the music in the background was annoying. I was surprised to see TVs everywhere as I did not know this was akin to a sports bar. I would not plan another group lunch there again.
Excellent service and food.
The food was not very good and for the price should have been much better. Additionally, it took over 40 plus minutes to get our food. The host was very frazzled. The waitress was the only shiny light. Too bad the food was terrible. No one in our party was happy.
We made a reservation since it was St. Patrick's Day and had an event to attend at the Paramount at 7pm. The ease of making a reservation was very helpful and the restaurant was very, very busy (as expected for a weekend St. Paddy's). I believe servers were limited (perhaps due to the day) but our server Lauren was amazing! You would never know she was overwhelmed and kept a smile on her face. The food was fantastic and the choices are varied enough to satisfy almost anyone. Thanks!
Everything was high quality, from the food to the service to the drinks. Just amazing!!!
Food is delicious, service is memorable, at times difficult to have a conversation because of noise.
Usually love this place! But this particular I was brought the wrong food and by the time my order finally came out my boyfriend was done with his meal so I had to scarf I’d down so we could pay and make it to our movie. The waitress barely came back to the table after she messed up our order. Very disappointing
Food was disappointing, asked for Kung Pau Chicken w/ out noodles and it came as almost a soup. It had gobs of a paste like substance that didn't resemble a vegetable... weird.
The people at Earls were very friendly and attentive. I met a client there for lunch we had the dynamite roll to start and I had the green salad with Salmon they we're both excellent. Nice atmosphere and great wait staff!
We had tickets for a show and wanted to eat downtown beforehand. We picked Earls due to restaurant week. We lived the restaurant, service was great, and the food delicious. We especially loved the potato salad and jasmine rice, both had unique flavors and something we’ll be craving.
great burger, good price...but no barbeque sauce?! it's my favorite. other than that it was really good and great service.
I had never been to Earl's before and will for sure go back. We went during restaurant week so the value was terrific. Only complaint is that I asked for my steak medium rare and it was pretty raw.
Great place to eat before a show at the Paramount! A friend of mine and I enjoyed the Santa Fe and Warm Kale salads. Nice glass of Malbec. Look for the SMALL happy hour menu on your table...we found ours after we ordered, and wished our waitress had told us about happy hour options.
Fantastic food and atmosphere! We will definitely be back.
Great for groups, decent prices, great ambience, good service.
We dined at Earls on a Saturday night at 6:00pm and were attending a show later in the evening. For being a Saturday the restaurant was not terribly busy. The atmosphere was nice and restaurant was well maintained. We sat in the upstairs area which was about 40 percent full. We were informed we would have two servers helping us out and were given water but after our water was served we did not see either server for a good twenty minutes.
We finally were able to order drinks but they took a half an hour to come to our table. At this point we had ordered our food but waited over an hour to receive any of the food. In the time between sitting down and eating we saw a server twice. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks and given little attention.
The only redeemable part of Earls was the food. Other than the food the visit was not worth what I paid.
Loved everything about it but never got my Coke lol other than that, SUPERB
I made reservations online. Walked in and were seated immediately. We had a terrific server, he name was Tara. Food was great, never eaten there before. My husband is from Canada, he hadn’t been to one in years. We will be back!
While the food was quite good, and the bar backs working very hard to make up the difference, the wait staff and greeters were poor at best. From the moment we arrived the hostess was in a terrible mood and the waitress was nowhere to be find most of the time that we were there....it is too bad as the food was good.
Food is always great.
This was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a while. We were seated quickly even though we were early for our reservation on Valentine’s Day. Our waiter, Nate, was incredibly friendly and cheerful. He never rushed us even though they were packed. The frozen pink lemonade was amazing. My medium well steak was cooked perfectly and was still juicy and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were extremely delicious. My husband said it was one of the best burgers he had had in a while and his garlic fries were perfect. I really enjoyed the wam chocolate banana cake. It was all around a great experience. The only down sound was that the lighting was so low it was difficult to see at times, which could be remedied by single candles on the tables; but that is so small it can’t even detract from how much we enjoyed this place.
