Excellent all around!! Excellent food excellent service (ask for Maya!! She was great!!) Excellent view excellent ambiance, etc!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
The sunset veiw is wonderful! The service is spot on & the food is good also. Definitely a romantic setting for a date or special occasion.
Just a word of caution for those who are motion sensitive... even at an hour and a half for a full rotation of the restaurant , your equilibrium may still feel a little off. I started off facing forward in the rotation, but had to switch seats to rotate backwards to minimize my vertigo, lol. (It helped a lot!) Well worth the dining experience!
Great view. Great food and service. Server really new the menu and made good recommendations. Pace of meal was great.
For many years, our family had gone to the Eagles Nest for special family occasions. My husband and I recently went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First, I want to emphasize that the service was outstanding. The cocktails and food were substandard. Both my husband and I question if there was any alcohol in our drinks. The Brie in the appetizer had bubbles and was rubbery. My husband’s pork chop was over cooked. My shrimp and grits was tasteless. The dessert was boring. We were very disappointed.
Food was horrible! I ordered a New York Strip Steak, which was full of fat and not very good flavor at all. I couldn't even eat a quarter of it b/c of all the fat. I was really disappointed by the low grade of food here.
food terrific, spectacular view, service outstanding
An overall excellent experience. Food and service were exceptional. A must if in Indianapolis, Great time had by all.
Great views, a one of a kind
What a great experience! What a sensational view with delicious food and wonderful service. Our waitress was a delight. Thank you for making our special evening even more special.
The food and service was fantastic! Very Romantic and just what we needed!
Awesome view, not our first time here. Certainly won't be our last :)
Our waitress Christina was wonderful! The view was incredible and the food was fantastic:)
Went for our anniversary and had a wonderful time with spectacular views of the city
Beautiful view, okay interior, unsatisfying level of professionalism. Significantly over priced for the quality of food and service. Enjoyed the view but have no reason to go back. This location has potential but consistently missed the mark.
Went here because it was voted most romantic in Indiana and it did not disappoint. Great environment, great views while you slowly turn. The layout is perfect because you are far enough away from other tables that you don't feel like you're sitting on top of each other. Great food and service. The whipped mashed potatoes may be the best I've ever had
The reputation for Eagles Nest has always been: great view with so-so food. Well that has all changed! Really the view is still fantastic but the choices, presentation and service was great. Our party of 6 was treated to a fascinating different charcuterie tray for starters. Fine cocktails were chosen by all. A variety of salads and very special entrees were enjoyed by all. The only gripe was portions were so generous that no one had room for dessert. Give EN another try.
The food was very bad one steak was way over seasoned & other was just so bland. Very bad experience!!! I could cook better steaks at home any day. But like the view .
Service was great. Very nice and peaceful dinner
Food and service were very good. Ambiance would be hard to get wrong considering the revolving dining area offering fantastic views of metro Indy. Only real criticism is the seating -- the bench seating we had (table for 6, one side with 3 chairs, the other side a bench for 3) was uncomfortable, in that it was too low. It felt like I was a kid sitting at the adult's table. I am a male of average/above-average height (5'11"). The table top was right at my chest which meant I was reaching up and over the table just to eat the food right in front of me, not to mention trying to reach the bread plate and drink.
I would recommend getting rid of the bench seats in the main dining area and saving those for the bar/lounge area, and allowing for regular chairs for all main dining area patrons.
Food was great waiter was great very nice and helpful I will be back and my family thank you
My wife and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at the Eagles Nest and it was phenomenal! Everything was perfect! The rack of elk, escargot, and scallops were magnificent! And the flaming drink?! Wow! Renee was a joy to have as our waitress as well.
It was a beautiful way to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary
Fantastic atmosphere! The food is a little overpriced, but the experience is second to none. Our server was fantastic! We were celebrating my sister’s admission to the Indiana Bar, and the staff was wonderful!
Overall good experience. Recently updated so the infrastructure is very nice. Food was fine but nothing remarkable.
On May 11th, my boyfriend treated me to a celebatory dinner at The Eagle's Nest located at the top of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Indianapolis. This marked my first dining experience at The Eagle's Nest. To dine during sunset was truly majestic. Having the opportunity to experience a panoramic view from a revolving, rooftop restaurant was truly a memorable experience. To enjoy a 360 view of the downtown skyline was remarkable. In addition to the scenic view, the food was phenomenal. I must brag on the excellent staff. Service was sufficient. To end this review, I will state that the food was superb. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who have not dined here before. Thank you.
Son graduating law school
Food is fantastic, service is awesome and the view espectacular for a great evening.
The Eagles Nest was great! I went w/ my friends to celebrate my birthday! I had a great waitress MyaH & the food was excellent! This restaurant is not for people who are not willing to try new food! My dinner was perfect & so was my desert! The scenery was so beautiful as well!
We had great service and the food was amazing. Dining at sunset and the rotating view of downtown Indianapolis was a treat. The staff - from arrival to departure - made the night all the better. Conversation was easy even with other diners nearby. We look forward to visiting again.
In love with this reataurant i took my wife for a date and we both like everything about i would recommend this restaurant to any special occasions for couples or any ocasdion its worth it
Great view of Indianapolis. Escargot and prime rib were very good.
The prime rib was delicious. It was a bit fatty but it the potion seemed larger than 12oz which made up for it. The bread would’ve been better warm and fresh but not bad. My wife had the filet mignon which was decent. The French onion soup was amazing and the lobster tail was enormous. Our server Christina was awesome as well as the hostess or whomever filled our water. I was never thirsty. Overall a great experience. Everything was pretty costly but that was to be expected. I will dine here again
I booked a reservation for a party of two for my fiancé’s birthday. It was the first time we dinned here and it exceeded our expectations! The food, view, and service was amazing! Our server was Danielle. She was amazing as well! Our dinner came earlier than expected. Renee was very sweet too! Mr. Parker from the front desk in the lobby came to check on us (we had to ask for directions ). My fiancé really enjoyed the view and the garlic mashed potatoes. We will definitely return to this fine establishment. Please rewards the individuals mentioned! They deserve it and they made our day perfect! Thank you Danielle, Renee, & Mr. Parker!
The service was fabulous. The sides were good. The kale was incredible. The duck was awful. The pork chop was slightly dry. The carrot cake was excellent. The Iced Tea was good enough to remember. It was a good evening. Avoid the duck.
reserved a table for wife's birthday for 26th April, a few days in advance, asked them to have flowers and cake piece ready, they called back and said that they couldnt do flowers, but a yes for cake
everything was agreed upon and reservation was confirmed
reached the restaurant promptly at 830pm, directions and parking are straighforward
waited 5-7 minutes at the hostess station without anyone in sight (-1), finally the hostess came and seated us at our table
got a window table, amazing views of downtown Indy, really nice atmosphere overall, and the restaurant is revolving, a big YES YES
dress code mentioned was business casual, however most of the people were dressed in casuals
Danielle was our server, and greeted my wife for her birthday, so apparently the notes of my reservation were being followed to the tee (so far)
ordered cocktails and appetizer, really nice ravioli appetizer, and their bread with butter was too good, so were the cocktails, french onion soup was good too, a bit too much of cheese for my liking (not their mistake, so no stars deducted)
ordered entrees, garlic and lemon grilled chicken and black tea duck breast...both were very nice, however the bourbon glazed kale that came with the duck was too salty (even my wife tasted this and said the same.....-1)
at the very end, our server asked us if we wanted to have any desserts, and I was under the impression that the cake slice would be brought out just as mentioned in the reservation, however I was wrong
basically all this reservation and confirmation for nothing, my wife's birthday could have been better (-1)
anyways, total comes to 2 stars but I will add a star just because of the uniqueness of this restaurant being a revolving restaurant with really nice views (+1), service could have been a tad better for the final bill
not sure if I will repeat or not, definitely not for any special occasions anymore if the restaurant cannot do as promised
when we first arrived, the host was sort of spaced out. he asked for our reservation name and as i gave it to him i asked to sit at the bar since we were early. he continued to seat us through the computer system and said it was too late since he had submitted our name in the system.
server danielle was subpar and we barely saw her
the busser, Preciuous, was at our table constantly. every time i took a sip of water it seemed she came by to top it off. she came to our table way too often and never said a word.
the food was okay. the prime rib seemed like a good choice but it had way too much fat on it.
i had high hopes for this high rise and am pretty disappointed
My fiance' and I were celebrating one year of dating. We were impressed with an amazing view, excellent service, and delicious food. I will highly recommend the Eagle's Nest to everyone who asks.
I didn’t like my food and I ordered my steak medium but it was served to me rare.
The crab cakes were tasty though
DARRIAN PARKER WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT EXCELLENT.
My server (Mya) was great and everything that she recommended was on point.
Cannot beat the views. Food was outstanding, and pace was comfortable to visit and talk.
