Great view of Indianapolis! Food was very good. Price was good for high-end restaurant. We had baked chicken and grilled salmon. Pretty noisy with a Christmas party going on.

very nice experience at the Eagles nest. great martinis. We ordered lobster with our steak and the lobster was a little too well done , so a little disappointing, but overall the food was very good and priced well.

I would say the Eagle's Nest is an often overlooked gem. With all of the other restaurants in Indy, the Eagle's Nest sets quietly (literally) atop the city offering unique dishes with great service. My wife had the Seared Sea Scallops and I had the Red Sea Bass. Both of our meals were prepared and plated very well! The Eagle's Nest is not a inexpensive restaurant, but I can say it is good location for any special occasion. We won't wait as long to go back!

We visited to celebrate our anniversary, and Mackenzie took great care of us. The food and service were incredible! Unfortunately, it was the night of the Big Ten championship game, so the ambience was not as we would have hoped. Lots of boisterous Wisconsin and Ohio State fans! We made the best if it, though, and had an incredible night.

The food was wonderful. Our waitress Renee was very attentive and friendly. We were there almost 2 hours, we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Renee brought drinks and bread right away and checked on us frequently. She gave us plenty time to enjoy our appetizers before salads arrived. Our Entrees were set before us as soon as the salads were finished. The Prime Filet was perfect as ordered. The view of Indianapolis was beautiful as the sun began to set, then the city lights and Christmas display on Monument Circle illuminated. It was a great place to spend our 45th anniversary with two of our very best friends of many years.

We went there for a quiet romantic dinner. Three tables down from us there were small children screaming and running around which was very distracting. We both thought who would bring their small children to such a place. I ordered a Diet Coke with lime and they brought me regular coke TWICE. The first time I told them I asked for diet not regular coke the waitress told me it was Pepsi not Coke and I wondered why they didn't say that upfront. I had a refill and it was refilled with regular again and again I had to ask for diet. Our food was average. Both of our corn polentas were barely warm when they brought them out to us. The duck and the pork were well cooked. Again, an upscale place to eat that hits under the bar of excellence in our book.

 (Oklahoma City)·Dined on October 15, 2017

We had a 9:30 reservation on a Saturday night. We drove from Oklahoma City and were not disappointed. The ambiance that is created by the dimly lit spinning restaraunt was very romantic at least my wife and I thought so. The service was awesome, our waiter knew the menu and offered what his thoughts were, he was also very entertaining. The food was incredible as I had the red bass and my wife had the Filet. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. We had a bottle of roscotto wine, if you're into sweet white wines I highly recommend it. Lastly the dessert we had was a smoked s'mores chocolate mousse with a butterscotch drizzle. I found it to be quite the cap of a perfect night.

I went to eagles nest celebrate a special evenings with loved ones. I ordered the grilled prawns appetizer and the prawns were overcooked. This didn't stop here, for my entrée I ordered the scallops which to my surprise were overcooked again. So I definitely didn't have a pleasant experience for the amount of money I paid for this dinner.

The seating arrangement was horrible. It was uncomfortable to be seated on the upper portion. My fiancé and I (two females) were seated right in front of the males restroom, which we could see into every time the door swung open. Although it is a rotating restaurant, it was still uncomfortable to have to suffer it for two rotations and 30 mins out of the hour and half we were there.

The food was horrible! Definitely not worth the price tag. We ordered the octopus, bone marrow, the duck, the lamb, creme brûlée and the peach mimosa cake. Nothing good came out of their kitchen.

Quite a disappointment. Would never dine here again, not even for the view.

For the price I would highly recommend choosing somewhere else. While the views and experience are somewhat unique, the food is not up to par with the prices. It seems that the Eagles Nest struggles to create a functional and practical menu that matches the upscale dining experience.

The view is terrific. The service was very good. The food was the worst. I had prime rib that was over cooked, no seasoning, tough and a very thin cut. I have had better prime rib at Golden Coral . My wife and I have dined at this restaurant many times for over 30 years. The food this time was not worth 10 bucks. A hundred forty dollars for a meal that was simply awful. Such a shame for such a wonderful place otherwise.
