The views were unbeatable, restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. Easy when I requested a different lunch than was on the menu. The food was very over priced but good. Recommendations, don't look at the prices on the menu, but outside.

If you don't mind a 20 minute gondola ride to the top of a mountain (highest restaurant in canada) it is just amazing.

It took a while to get seated and those without reservations got priority. The waitress took over 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. When the food finally came it was cold, probably sat in the back while the waitress did who knows what. P.S. it wasn't very full so she had no excuse. The view was amazing.

DO NOT RESERVE WITH OPEN TABLE AND EAGLE EYE RESORT. Call them directly instead
Eagle eye is very busy and a saught after place to book events like weddings and stuff. So when you book, open table doesn't know when the restaurant has been reserved for the evening. This resulted in my reservation being cancelled last minute and kinda ruining my plans completely.

I love using open table and love eagle eye restaurant however they don't seem to communicate with each other properly.

It was great watching the mountain bikers go down the mountain. You could hike to the top of the mountain if you are adventurous. Nice meal & atmosphere. Very expensive lift ticket ($95 for 4ppl) just to get there. They do have complementary lift tickets for dinner service. On top of that lift ticket, We spent $115 with wine & beer with lunch as family of 4.

Magnificent view, very good food.
We found this restaurant in the open table as a high rated restaurant for lunch on our way to Vancouver.

The only unexpected thing was you have to take gondola to get to the top of the mountain where restaurant is located. The gondola ride is around $45 per person and it takes approximately 20 minibuses to get there.

The view was spectacular. The ride up on the gondola was very good. We saw the resident grizzly bear "Boo" on the way down.
Only complaint forty minutes from the time we ordered the food until it arrived. They were not busy! Only 3 or 4 tables had guests.

Outstanding experience. Took my 10 year old son for dinner while on a ski trip at Kicking Horse. Went up the Gondola late evening and reached the top around sunset. The views were spectacular, the service was outstanding and the food quality was very good. Given it's location at the peak of a mountain I can say it was an exquisite experience. Fantastic for a romantic evening.

I was very impressed by the location and ambience. Very unique and a great setting. The service and meal however were underwhelming. I ordered the lamb shank, and it was overcooked and tough, however the vegetables were excellently prepared and enjoyable. The service was intermittent, although pleasant. For the price, my expectations were simply not met, even in consideration of the location.

Overall, quite good. But having some fun with friends (10th annual men's trip) was kinda put down a bit from our server. Wasn't sure they wanted to be there and then two orders were served incorrect. It was no problem because we aren't ones to create a hassle, but there was really zero effort to make it all right. We still paid full price and that's ok.... we can afford it ....maybe a drink coulda been knocked off. I dunno how it's all done. Just wasn't as "epic" as we hoped.... try again next year.

Had a wonderful dinner for 4 here on a Saturday night. Cozy, inviting atmosphere was welcome after the chilly ride up the gondola. Nice wine list. Really good cocktail menu. Had beef tenderloin, farfalle seafood pasta dish, braised venison/bison/boar belly and vegan risotto. All were excellent but expect the braised meat dish to have some chunks drier than others - not a surprise as game meat is generally drier - the boar belly was melt in your mouth good. Shared the deconstructed lemon meringue pie for dessert - it was delicious but I still prefer lemon pie in a constructed form better. Avalanche special coffee was wonderful.

We have always found the food, service and the view is worth driving up the mountain. The cost is reasonable and we have brought other members of our families up here to show them how amazing Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is. We have always been very surprised not to see more locals come to these great events. We try not to miss any of them ourselves.

Five of us went for dinner and we were all very disappointed in our experience at Eagle's Eye. Most of the food was just adequate but one of our meals, the seafood pasta dish, was inedible. The prices are very high and the quality of the food did not justify the prices. Our server was also inexperienced and seemed confused most of the evening. For example, when pouring out the remainder of a bottle of wine that four of us were sharing, she forgot that she had already poured wine into one person's glass and forgot one person completely.

Unique experience, very expensive for the quality of food - the lamb chops were not good at all - the 3 other meals were good but not as good as other high end restaurants - none of the portions were filling, not very child friendly menu.

My wife and I visited the Eagle's Eye for dinner over the holidays. It was her fist time and I had not been for a number of years. We were both very impressed with the food (large portions for high end) and the service was also good (casual and approachable which was nice to find at a place like this). Appetizers were probably the highlight of the meal and top notch. The gondola ride in the dark was an interesting experience. We have been up it many times in the daytime skiing but in the dark it feels a bit unnerving – like you are all alone on a mountain in the pitch black. Wear warm clothes for that part in the winter season.

Took almost 4 hours for our meal though it was 5 course meal. 2nd and rrd couse were scant and cold, and the main course was 90 min late. All they did for us, was comp us a 15 dollar bottle of wine. Dissapointing to say the least given price was 110 dollars a plate.

Absolutely the best ski restaurant in North America. It's hard not to feel on top of the world when fine dining on top of an actual mountain with beautiful 360 degree views of the surrounding peaks.

The restaurant has nice decor, friendly staff and a view that is priceless! Unfortunately, my husband and I did not plan our lunch date very well and we were not very hungry. We did order something to split, sandwich and soup combo that was good. The Wild Horse and Gin Peaks Mountain Top Caesars were the best caesars we have ever had :) Make sure you give yourself enough time to go hiking and get some photos.......incredible!

Lovely staff, everything very relaxed, food excellent as was our wine and coffee. Had read that the food was expensive but compared to Banff, it was cheap!! Views to totally die for - amazing. Something you will always remember, so do make the effort and go up there.

My experience at the Eagle's Eye Restaurant was outstanding!! The ride up and down in the gondola was incredible ( even saw a grizzly bear on the ride down!) and the view from the top is breathtaking!! Our lunch was lovely and the service exceptional - they even put together a special meat and cheese tray at our request. I recommend this experience for everyone! Take lots of pictures when you're "on top of the world" - a fantastic memory making day that won't be forgotten!! Cheers!!

Perfect place to enjoy a special lunch with fantastic views. Great food, good service in a relaxed atmosphere. Premium prices but good value when considering the location.

Summit salad with smoked salmon was delicious. After lunch perhaps enjoy a hike to the Stairway to Heaven lookout for even more stunning views.
