Eagle's Eye Restaurant - Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
The food was a delicious treat at the top of an incredible mountain. View was excellent and service was excellent. Well worth it.
Great experience. A friend recommended this restaurant to my girlfriend and I. Very friendly staff and quick service. Food was amazing. Stunning views.
The salmon baguette was excellent, the salmon fillet was perfectly cooked. The triple chocolate mousse with the fresh berries was delicious.
Great spot on top of a mountain, delicious food and amazing views.
Happy to see the resort open for the summer. Highly recommend Eagles Eye Restaurant
Food and drinks were great, was a bit chilly in the restaurant, a nice fire and a table near the fire place would of been great.
This was our 4 th time at this restaurant. It was again a great evening. We especially liked the 3 wine tasting flight allow us to taste different B.C. wines.
Very neat experience, very good food. Gondola ride was chilly as expected, service was decent however the wait time for food seemed off as we arrived with friends (separate reservations - and pre set tables, so weren’t able to be seated together) and they received they’re food, finished eating, and had it boxed up, before ours even arrived.... however our meal was great so I don’t have much of a complaint.
Overall - defanitly recommend it. Our friends enjoyed they’re meal as well.
The overall experience and ambiance was great. Clear skies and full moon!!
Warmer blankets in the gondola would be appreciated.
The wild boar was a bit disappointing (a bit over cooked and I have had better elsewhere)
Fantastic Alberta Beef Burger!
Really nice restaurant, friendly staff, great food and good value. One issue: the hallmark channel on Sirius is not a good choice of music!
I hate that the reservation system is not available after 11:45.
It was an interesting lunch as we were there during the storm on Sat. Feb 1st. Our server was great and the food was very yummy. Would love to come back for lunch on the summer.
A great way to end a wonderful ski week.
Underwhelming and expensive food, however a lovely view
You absolutely have to go here. Food is great but the view from the top of the world is incredible. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyable experience uniqueness of location. Back drop superb. Very attentive service. The food was a bit pricey. It was good and wholesome just not outstanding. Gondala ride with blankets added to the unique experience.
Restaurant cancelled midday on a Thursday - staff did not honor reservation and were unclear as the reason why - one said too busy, one said out of food and another said kitchen was backed up. We had a member of our party who was injured pay to take the gondola up just for lunch. Restaurant did not call or email to say that reso was cancelled. Disappointed.
Anyone that has time to go for an evening amongst the stars needs to take this adventure. The gondola ride is even well done with blankets and friendly staff. The staff were amazing and friendly.
Food is amazing.
View is phenomenal.
The smell outside the restaurant tho - unappetizing. Lucky it didn't smell like it inside.
View is worth the experience. Food was good. Pricey but expected for resort
The views from the restaurant are incomparable to anywhere we have ever been. There is not a bad seat in the house, the service was great but the menu was limited and a little pricey but we would still recommend this dining experience to anybody who wants an elevated experience!
The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. One of our family’s favourite.
It was quite busy and our server kinda forgot about us.
Our waitress Sofie was kind and patient while my daughter decided what she wanted. My turkey was amazing but the duck was a tad salty for our liking. The atmosphere and view is stupendous!
This was a unique experience and the food my son and I ordered was really yummy. Nothing like a snowy mountain with one restaurant serving some warmth to life. We both enjoyed the experience and would not hesitate to go up again soon since we are living down below on the beautiful mountains of Kicking Horse. Thank you for the good food and service ... nature at it's best experience.
I'd only recommend it for the view, the staff were unfriendly and looked like they'd rather be anywhere else then helping us.
Amazing restaurant with the greatest view. Good service and good food. Loved it
It was very quiet as it was raining heavily and there was no view due to clouds but the restaurant was lovely and we enjoyed the whole experience, would love to come back when you can see out of the window and it be a bit more lively
Even on a rainy day, the trip to the top and the views through the mist are great. The food is made at the top of a ski hill and gondola, so don't expect five star dining. The food was good, not spectacular. Service was good and efficient. I was quite annoyed that when making the reservation, it wasn't made clear that the price of the lift up ($40pp) was not included in the lunch price, if you want to order a la carte. You can order off a small lunch menu for a fixed price (C$70pp) which includes two courses and the gondola ride. The views make it a nice place to take visitors to the Rockies, especially on a sunny day.
Our lunch was great! We had some dietary restrictions that the staff helped us work around without making us feel awkward. Our server, Meg, was outstanding. She was very accommodating, friendly, and kind. The food was outstanding. The soup of the day was definitely worth trying the kale salad, burger, and jack fruit sandwich were all GREAT! Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience.
The menu is very limited. Consider adding local foods like fish and meat to the menu.
Food was exceptional. Wife said the chicken wrap was the best sandwich she ever ate!
The experience was incredible, with excellent food and service. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Overall the dining was great. Food delicious. View and ambience from restaurant was fantastic. As well as view of all mountain ranges. My only surprise was the $45 gondola ride up - thought that was a bit much just to go eat at the top.
It was a great lunch. I enjoyed my beer battered cod but others in my party got the striploin and it was chewy. The truffle fries were great and the service was great. But we felt a little rushed because there was a wedding starting.
The view is incredible on a sunny day. The ambiance and food are a treat in any weather.
Couldn't imagine a more beautiful place to dine! Everything was great!
We came here on a sibling outing to celebrate two birthdays and a wedding. Eating at eagles eye was a great way to enjoy the views and eat delicious food.
We had a fantastic time. Good food and beverages. Great view!!
We opted for the dining package with lift pass which included a main meal and desert and soft drink , the food and service was excellent and the place and the view probably the best ever and we have travelled a lot !!!
