A lift ticket is required for the 15/20 minute gondola ride to access the restaurant for lunch and dinner, the cost of which is only included in a dinner reservation. Although safety is our number one priority and our lift safety systems are tested every morning and afternoon before we open, your gondola ride may take longer than anticipated. We ask that you dress appropriately.

Eagle’s Eye Restaurant is located at 7700 feet - the Summit of Kicking Horse Mountain. Hand carved tabletops; local timbers and stonework provide an elegant setting. Floor to ceiling windows frame panoramic views of the Rocky, Purcell and Selkirk Mountain ranges. The cuisine is complimented by an outstanding selection of Canadian wine and artisan beer. Lunch is available until 2:30pm daily. Hours may vary based on weddings and events. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Two of the five people at our table requested menu revisions that were not met. The burger we ordered was very over cooked, the chili was lukewarm and bland, the chicken on the sandwich was very dry and finally the ricotta sourdough sandwich was awful. The setting is awesome and the service was fine so we really want to like the restaurant but the food was not good!

The experience of having Christmas dinner at Eagle’s eye was an experience in its self but we were left extremely disappointed with the quality, speed of the food arriving and taste of the food. The butter definitely had a heavy taste of cinnamon, this would normally be light to ensure you aren’t over powered. Salmon was slimy the texture was off putting and the salmon didn’t really taste smoked, this is usually down to poor quality smoked salmon. The Ravioli was undercooked and the shell was solid and not edible, butternut squash tasted ok. Elk stripping was ok, I like rare but not cold. The time between courses was way too long. 3 hours for 4 courses was excessive, we skipped desert. Becky our host made up for most of the disappointment- she was helpful, cheerful and ensured our drinks were filled. So thank you Becky!

It was a wonderful event going up with the Gondola to the top of the Mountain into the restaurant - and coming down in the dark again with the Gondola Ride.

Very nice overall experience. Food was excellent, the waitress and staff were outstanding and friendly, I would say the best waitress I’ve had all year, she nailed it and made the best hot chocolate!
