Celebrate Mom by giving her the night off and treating her to a perfectly cooked, steak dinner alongside the Yampa River. Reservations recommended.

Top quality food, great service, nice view of the river. Worth it for a special occasion, as quality does not come cheap, unfortunately.
Meal was amazing and easily the best steak I’ve ever ate. All the appetizers were phenomenal. Highly recommended.
Wonderful food and location. Great locals specials during off season
Great prime rib special! Service is always top notch. Beautiful river view.
Fantastic! Can't say enough great things about E3! We will be back every time we are in Steamboat!
The food was great. Our waiter Wyatt was helpful and friendly. We sat by the window and had a view of the Tampa river. I highly recommend.
Wonderful meal with friends visiting from all over the country. We were in Steamboat for 5 days, and everyone agreed this was the best meal of the trip. We'll be back! Thank you Phil.
Our family; grandparents, parents and kids ate here for our final night in Steamboat Springs. The oldest grandchild/child attends school and works in Steamboat and recommended we eat there as he thinks it is the best in town. We were able to get a reservation and had a wonderful dinner for 7 of us. The restaurant is beautiful, the service impeccable and the portions are more than generous. Leftovers will feed some college boys for a day or so.
It was a great meal and time spent with friends.
The food was good. Our special cowboy cut was a little tough. But the flavor was delicious
This was my son’s birthday dinner. I signaled it I open table, followed up with a phone call and even mentioned it to our waiter, who acted like he hated his job. Nothing happened. Typical steak house fair that was good. I think, if we come back, it will be at the bar or outside, with the cool open doors. Nice design, but hard to hear.
Shrimp cocktail and poke were superb. Steaks werr tasty and cooked just right
Food and service were fantastic. Great view of river in the back. Filet was top notch quality. Sides were excellent and reasonably sized. Maybe just a few more dollars per dish than I would have expected.
We had the filet, rib eye, strip and tenderloin medallions. The medallion was the best and strip was the worst. Medium was over cooked. The sides were good. We had garlic mash and creamed spinach. Nice view of the river.
This was our third time to eat here but it was by far the best. The fondue and brussel sprouts were amazing and of course the filet was perfect. Don’t pass on the truffle fries either.
Overall experience was great. The highlight was the lobster Mac & cheese. The steaks were charred excessively on the outside. They were cooked well on the inside once you get past the black char layer. Baked potato was good as well.
Awesome service and excellent recommendations from our waiter!
Great family meal on vacation.
Best steaks in Steamboat
We arrived at ~6:30PM for dinner on Thursday during spring break and enjoyed our meal as a family. The bar and restaurant got really crowded around 7:45PM and I am glad we were able to get our food order in before the restaurant was really busy. Overall the food was great and the service was helpful. I think the meal was expensive to other restaurants in steamboat springs, CO but it felt upscale and would be a good venue for special occasions. We would recommend this restaurant for families with school aged children as long as they arrive early :)
Service was good, ambience was nice. Had to send my filet back because I could hardly cut it and had to chew and chew to swallow it. Second one to come out was better but all the others were almost done with their meals by the time I got my second steak. Side dishes were extremely over priced for the size. Wouldn’t go back.
Just ok. My trout was dry. My salad was good My dinner mates all had steaks that they ate but did not rave about. The view of the water is nice and some can see the ski jump. The chocolate chip cookie could easily be prepped at your own home
We were skiing in Steamboat for spring break. We ate at E3 one night for dinner and it was the best meal we had on our trip. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing.
Fabulous on all levels and enjoyed leftovers for breakfast!
Always impeccable service and great food!
We had poor confusing service. The meat was very tough and not prepared to order. The Caesar salad was gritty and could not be eaten. The dressing was very good as was the lobster bisque.
Great restaurant but the reviews are right. Ordered a steak and the fish plate with salad. The fish was really good but the steak was $44 dlls and just ok. To much money for an ok steak. The wine by glass is reasonably priced.
We had a 730pm reservation and were placed at the bar for 45 minutes. My wife complained after 45 min especially after several people behind us were seated. For just 2 people this seemed unusual and eventually we were seated. After that things were better as food was super expensive but very good.
We had a wonderful 5 year wedding anniversary celebration at E3. Our server was phenomenal, and he provided excellent service from beginning to end. From appetizers to dessert, everything we ordered tasted delicious. Would recommend the Lobster Mac as a side, and the chocolate cake for dessert. I did not rate the food a perfect score only because my steak was quite overdone, but the problem was immediately addressed and a new steak was prepared without issue. Would certainly recommend for a relaxing dinner in a beautiful location.
We love E3 and visit anytime we are in Steamboat. It’s pretty noisy at night but the food is excellent and so is the service. We especially like it in summer when we can dine outdoors.
Food was good but price was rediculous... basicly paid for the meat and if you want anything else to go with your meat be prepared to pay a hefty price... sides and dinner salads are not included.... however, service was very fast and place is beautiful. A dinner for two with one side each and no salad or beverages from the bar be prepared to spend at least $120.00. Now if you get alcoholic drinks, add a side salad and desert probably be in the $200 Or more range. Would not recommend as an everyday place to eat only very special occasions and its not really kid friendly either.
An amazing birthday
I don’t usually leave comments but the dining experience at E3 was top notch. The food, atmosphere and service were 5 star, all the way. Perfectly trained staff backed up by excellent chef presentations and quality food. Truly an amazing dining experience.
Excellent food and service. Definitely an upscale option in Steamboat.
If your from Texas, then you know steak is a must try when traveling. The 8 oz filet was cooked to perfection. The Brussels sprouts also a must try. The staff were very personable and attentive to all our needs. Such a great experience that we were the last to leave!!
Great food but overpriced
Our experience was phenomenal. We chose E3 to celebrate our final night of vacation. Our dinner, drinks, and wine were excellent. The ambiance was cozy, romantic, and relaxed. The low lights and warm wood interiors were only enhanced by the falling snow. Our server was excellent and made sure our experience was pleasant, friendly and welcoming. Overall it was the perfect way to end a beautifying week in Steamboat.
We were there on a date to celebrate a birthday. The food and wine was excellent, but we felt rushed by the server.
LOVE IT HERE. THE FOOD IS GREAT AND ESPECIALLY IN THE SUMMER, SITTING OUTSIDE BY THE RUNNING YAMPA RIVER IS SPECTACULAR
Please consider another restaurant. We had a reservation for 7 pm. The young hostess took a walk in before us and gave them a better table by the window while our table was in middle of dining room. Waiter came over pretty fast and took our orders but that was it. No additional drinks were taken I had to ask the bus boy to get another drink for us. The meal was okay. Nothing to write home about . When it came time to get dessert once again had to ask for menus and then waiter disappeared. Finally I asked bus boy to tell waiter to just get check. Other places in town are better and less money. The owner should spend time with his staff training them . They could make more money if they would simply be attentive.
PS I still left a 20% tip on a $300 tab. This way when the owner reads this and he remembers who I am he can’t say I was cheap or incorrect. I did the right thing he should do the same with his customers.
