The service and food have deteriorated over time since it opened. On this occasion we waited over 10 minutes after being seated before contact. The service was sporadic the whole evening. Drinks took exceptionally long to be served. The chicken was dry, the vegetable sides were all cold. The steak was good for one plate, though salty, the other steak order was improperly cooked and had to be sent back. For the price of the food here you can do better elsewhere.
Great meal as always and John from Vermont, our waiter, was tremendous. We will be back. John T
The service was exceptional and the wine list extensive. A friend at our table ordered the prime rib which was done to perfection and tasted superb. Another friend ordered the veal which was a touch dry, but the rub on the outside was delicious. My husband and I split a ribeye for two. It was cooked to our specifications, and tasted fine, but for the price we expected more. The brussel sprouts are a must get and the wedge salad was delicious. We enjoyed our time catching up with friends in an atmosphere which lent itself well to conversation but was open and vibrant.
Thanks it was fun!
Steak was fantastic, awesome atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good Steak in Steamboat.
The trout was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Lobster Mac and cheese great. Disappointed that the Caesar salad was 3 romaine leaves and dressing for $10 and that the waiter didn’t explain that the special would be charged separately for steak and lobster. Beautiful view of river and mountain side.
I enjoyed the scallops and my daughter loved her veal chop. Everything was perfectly cooked.
Excellent bar and bartenders! Great vibe! Good food!
Disappointed. Steak was chewy. Maybe because we’re from Texas we are used to a different level of steak. 🤷🏼♀️ Meager portions for the price.
