e11even Ratings and Reviews
We can start with our server Everton, who was outstanding, attentive excellent service. A Sommelier was sent to our table to assist in the wine selection, again fantastic, very helpful and a great choice. Bartender went out of his way to make a special requested drink. All of the main meals were perfect, absolutely nothing to complain about, a lovely evening for dinner.
Wonderful, attentive staff that make your meal a special experience. Menu has a variety for meat lovers. My friend had the burger and said it was the best she had ever had. Mine was not cooked to my liking. Had I not been in a rush to see a hockey game, I would have mentioned it and I know the staff would have made everything right. The music is menotinous. It’s techno, repetitive new world beat feels to counter the vibe of the restaurant. Even with these minor areas that I have raised, E11even is a great choice.
We went before The Killers concert at the ACC and the food was phenomenal! It is a bit loud once it fills up but a fun atmosphere. Service was excellent. Understandably expensive (given the location right next to the ACC) but will limit how often we can go there unfortunately. Overall we were completely thrilled with our evening at e11even.
This is not my first time here. I love going here pre-concert or game. It is close and good food so close to the ACC. Only negative comment is that I know they have Tomahawk steaks for special requests and I have the feeling they now hold these for "special customers". Our server tried for me but was unsuccessful. This place is not cheap and be prepared to shell out some moola for the location and convenience. We spent nearly $800 for two rib-eyes and steak frites (note that we were four and my wife an sister shared one rib eye). The price goes up because it is a la carte for appetizers. I would point out here that $300 went to two bottles of wine and we also all had pre-dinner drinks. But the Parmesan cheese fries, oysters and other options were all worth the extra.
There are less expensive wine bottles and food choices on the menu for the more cost-conscious and I would still recommend this location for most people who get down a few hours before show time and who don't want a long walk before their show/game.
We made a reservation at E11even before a Leafs game. It was excellent! The honey aioli shrimp was absolutely delicious!!!! We both had the Guinness Maple Burger with truffle fries do our main and it lived up to its rave reviews. We finished with sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it too was amazing. Great beer and wine as well. Service was exceptional!!!! Would definitely return.
Thank you to Everton who provided a fantastic customer experience. He provided recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Also special efforts to accommodate my 10 year old daughter were much appreciated.
Great to meet Jay the manager too. Overall a great start to our New Year’s Eve celebration. Thank you very much and see you soon...
We had the fire alarm go off which seemed like a hour long, menu was very short, I was looking forward to the chicken but no luck:-( I was really disappointed, I was expecting more I guess. Bartender knew there stuff, great drink. Price was not what I would say is fair for what was offered. I would not go back sorry.
e11even never ceases to impress us with fine Food and Service.
The Staff was friendly and very attentive to our needs; whilst not being intrusive to our business discussion.
The Menu is e-Tablet based and allows you to browse through at a fairly rapid pace.
The toughest decision was probably selecting the Wine, from a very impressive list and a majority of Wines are guaranteed to be in the In-House Cellar.
The choice of desserts were also impressive.
Visited E11even for a date night. Restaurant was not overly busy, so service was exceptionally quick (perhaps too much so as we would have liked some time to space out courses and our appetizer arrived before our wine!). Noise level wasn't too bad, so it was easy to have a quiet conversation. Decor was nice and our booth felt fairly private; we also enjoyed the mirrors that show what's going on in the kitchen as well. Our server was excellent and provided helpful suggestions regarding the menu. The iPad to view and order drinks from was also a neat touch.
We ordered the meatball to start (which was excellent and perfect for sharing), although came at a pretty hefty cost for one ($25). For entrees we had the "knife and fork ribs", which true to its name literally fell off the bone and could be eaten with utensils. The ribs were nicely flavoured also. We also had the filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked and very tender, but could have used additional seasoning or would have been more flavourful if it had been bacon-wrapped. We both had truffle fries as sides, which were delicious.
Overall, we really enjoyed the meal and would return! Compared to another similar restaurant, such as The Keg (which the layout and decor reminded us of) the food is fairly equivalent but the cost is higher at E11even. Overall a good choice though if you are downtown Toronto!
The menu is consistent, you really can't go wrong. The focus over the last year or so has really been on service, which is important given that most people there on a game night need to be out on time. So, you don't feel rushed because the server is well aware of the game time, the food arrives promptly and you can enjoy yourself.
I love 11EVEN and go here often. A week or two back I had to post a negative review because they sold out of a staple item in the menu which ruined my dinner. This time we went back, all was well but then they ran out of hotdog buns?? Last time was chicken and the reason was preparing the food fresh - but buns? Anyways the difference this time was how they handled it. They went and got buns and made it work so the day was saved. The server Sean was EXCELLENT. Great service, even better attitude.
Went with friend before Toronto Maple Leafs game. Extremely busy place so before games so reservations at such times a must. It’s close and convenient to ACC. We were seated immediately and a erver was polite and attentive. We both had burgers and beer which were very good. I think they forgot to bring our table bread. Nice atmosphere. We were in and out for game and enjoyed our meal. $85 with tip for 2 burgers and 2 beers, so you be judge on value. Go on a business lunch/dinner or before a game for convenience.
