E&E Stakeout Grill Ratings and Reviews
I took my husband there for his birthday. This restaurant it is a little tucked away in a strip mall, do don’t underestimate the quality of the food, ambience, and service. We love this place! They also have an early-bird menu that starts at 4pm or 4:30pm (can’t remember which). We plan to take advantage of that in the future.
Authentic Delicious Cuisine!!
If you're looking for a different food preparation, come here. This Chef has it going. The combined flavors he introduces are wonderful. Great menu selection!! Everything is fresh, tender and well portioned. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
Delicious food from the appetizers right down to the dessert.
Lucky to have options on menu of escargot and steak tartare.
You expect great Steak and prime rib, but the fish options were excellent.
Hostess did a great job finding our group of 6 a table rather than a booth.
A daily special "skillet" dish was offered and was terrible with three either tasteless and dried out (the pork and the chicken) or stringy and fatty (beef) meats over a bland spatezle. I would have sent it back after first bite but did not want to put a damper on friends enjoyment. I've eaten here a few times before and basically liked the quality of the food but this was horrendous, clearly poorly cooked leftovers. One member of the other couple did express dissatisfaction with her beef dish being over seasoned.(and the item was removed from bill)
In addition, and this has been true on more than one occasion, wait staff has the habit of interrupting diners conversation rather than waiting for a opening to add their contribution. Might not be "rude" but seemed oblivious to how intrusive they were.
Usually great but had reservations for 4, waited 15-20 minutes to be seated, at least 15 min for beverage & waiting on dinner was ridiculous, an hour from when we walked in. Waiter was nice but I think new because we had to ask to have tea refilled, as for rolls, it was really bad! Sorry-
Make reservations - it gets crowded even at lunchtime! The food is creative with enough variety to please anyone. The lunch menu includes lighter selections as well as good options for those who want a more substantial meal and the presentation is wonderful. The service is great - our waitress was attentive but not intrusive and provided great information about the menu items. We will definitely return to try some of the other menu items.
We have been there several times before, but we had an unfortunate time this visit. The food in general is moderately good but what we experienced was not. We specifically asked the waiter Austin that we wanted to order from the early bird dinner menu and order drinks from the happy hour. There were 6 of us and we individually asked about our food and drink so we expected no error. My husband ordered the prime rib medium well and it came out rarer than the folks on the table who ordered that way. He told us this is what's left, as it?? I ordered the salmon from early bird menu and the bill reflected the full salmon dinner. Drinks we ordered were suppose to be $3.25 and all came back on the bills for $8.95. We called over a manager Kim who was very rude, a chip on her shoulder and said she could do nothing. I was mortified by this behavior because I brought these couples for a birthday celebration. Needless to say everyone was upset. We greatly appreciate someone looking into this and reimbursing us for this unduly high cost dinner that was an error. Very Poor business ethics on their part.
My husband and I have been to this restaurant about ten times now and we have never been disappointed. I like to get dressed up when we go here, but you will not feel out of place either way. I like to sit in the bar and have at least one cocktail before we get seated for our dinner. This time at the bar table we had those fluorescent lights right above us and they were not putting of an amber or warm glow as I felt should be in a bar setting, other than that and my chocolate martini coming out in a 'non martini' glass, I have no complaints. Food is always great and the service is always spot on. So glad to know this place is there.
First table offered was too small. Steak was ordered to be cooked medium but was brought out rare. Took ten minutes for the waiter to show up to further cook the steak. When it was returned, my wife found it to be fatty and tough. Another ten minutes before the waiter came by. Overall, not good at all.
