My boyfriend's burger was cooked med rare,he ordered med but enjoyed it nonetheless.
I ordered med rare and got a med to well done burger, knew bf would be upset if I asked for new one so I just took small bites and lots of soda or water, was like meatloaf. We had table right by kitchen and where the bussers organize the dishes so quite noisy, worse table in place.
Post-theater dinner.... Best steak I’ve had in a long time! Great service.
Our first time and we really enjoyed the food. Service is superb and the ambiemce is perfect!
You charge way too much for an average steak. With 80% of the dining room empty you tried to sit me directly next to another couple.
Strip steak was large and was good - but not great. Went pre-theatre and the place was almost completely empty, so not a lively atmosphere. Wait staff was very nice and helpful.
Unbelievably average. After reading reviews and looking online, thought it would be a great option pre-theater. A $22 burger was half the size of the bun it was on. Would not go back.
This place was exactly what we needed. Had a show to attend at 8 and it was close. The food was ok. I wouldn’t review it negatively, but it didn’t stand out. I would probably try another restaurant for TH next show I attend.
Service was attentive, food delicious, perfect for pre-show dining!
Decent food and attentive staff.
Location was perfect since we had a show directly across the street. Great, friendly service and very good food.
It really felt like kind of hidden gem. We needed last-minute reservations and we’re having trouble finding any in town. We were able to get in to E&E and truly enjoyed our experience.
All of our steaks were slightly overdone though. Still edible they just didn’t quite nail it.
Perfect for the theatre. Got us in and out in plenty of time but not rushed. Good wine selections.
Food was sub par at best. Bread plates were dirty.
Enjoyed dinner and drinks before going to Springsteen on Broadway. Great service, and suggestions/recommendations. Lobster cocktail, lobster bisque and the cauliflower and brussel sprout salad all amazing. Almost too full for the salmon, which was also great! Went back the following night for a drink before Lion King. Had the 5 Show Week-end. Highly recommended!
Wonderful food, however the dishes aren't big enough.
We went there for celebrating New Years Eve. Perfect menu, Perfect ans totally nice service, everybody made us feel comfortable, absolutly recommendable!! Thanks very much! If were in NYC again, we will come back!
Went for dinner and received a very poor dining experience during fir dinner. Service was cold and slow, and food quality was very poor for a restaurant at this price level. With so many excellent options in the area, recommend staying away.
The place was great, my only issue was the steak was not a good cut, I got the ribeye n found it to be not great, def a cut that had a lot of fat inside, but cooked to my liking and the service was great
Good solid food
REALLY good steakhouse. Lamb chops were perfect and filet was very generous. Very nice atmosphere and located real close to Time Square. Restaurant was warm and cozy on a brutally cold day in NYC.
Visited NYC with a family group of 15 which included 7 kids from 1 1/2 yrs to 9 yrs. We had trouble finding availability at a reasonable hour to feed the kids as it was the holiday week, but E&E accommodated us! They had a perfect table set up in the rear by the fireplace & had coloring sheets and crayons for the kids. Everyone on the staff from the hostess to the waitstaff was super friendly. All 15 meals came out at once and all were cooked perfectly, delicious and hot! We will definitely return! Thank you E&E for making our family trip to NYC terrific!
Great meal, a little pricey, but that's what vacations are for. We had the ribeye for two. It was incredible, our daughter had the filet mignon and she said it was delicious as well. Get the mashed potatoes, they are good too. The only issues were the draft tyaps were. It working. The biggest problem was it was very very cold outside, and every time the front door opened the entire place turned into a frigid wind tunnel. The vestibule door that is supposed to cut down on the cold draft was broken into the open position. Rowell was our server and he was awesome.
It was a delicious meal within walking distance of the theatre. Friendly staff, great food! Would go again!
Surprisingly, the restaurant was relatively empty for the Wednesday after Christmas. Although, our waiter was attentive, food was slow coming from the kitchen. Food was okay, nothing extraordinary.
super-friendly and attentive staff, great food, not hurried but still efficient and aware of curtain times. will totally go again.
Nice location and good ambience but some issues with incorrect food and service. However it was Christmas Day so this may have just been a one off.
Service was nice but the food so so. In short, not price worthy
Hit the mark for our purpose. Post theater was perfect. Food was good but the service was very professional. Present without hovering. We would do it again.
We had dinner before visiting the Ambassador Theatre next door to see Chicago so great location, trendy decor, lovely friendly staff & great food! Would definitely go back!
Nice smaller steakhouse packed to the gills with happy diners! My niece had the Argentinean Steak Frites w/chimichurri sauce that was fantastic. I had the filet w/crispy Brussels Sprouts w/pancetta & cider agrodolce so yummy. Great place for pre theatre & they even offer "intermission" drinks if your theatre is close by.
Food was good. Thats it. Basic good food. Over priced for what you get. I paid $17 for four shrimp as an appetizer. My dinner selection was quite good, but my wifes steak was over cooked for sure.
Oysters in the half shell were amazing and reasonably priced, but the French onion soup was even better! Would definitely recommend. If staying at The Pearl, you’ll get a discount st the restaurant.
We went here on a recommendation. Service started spotty when the waitress disappeared after bringing our water. She apologized upon her return saying she had to make 3 lattes which took some time, so that was appreciated.
My only complaint was the music playing in the dining area. It was so loud, that i almost went and asked them to turn it down a notch. If you are there on business (or even a date), you need to be able to hear the people across the table. They should consider this when blasting the music thru the speaker.
Overall, everyone enjoyed their meal.
Fabulous location and glad we saw the Coupon on our Broadway Show Tickets for The Book of Mormons. It's right across the street from the theater so it was so convenient. We made reservations and got seated immediately. We ordered the Burger and it was delicious and the waiter substituted the chedder for Mozzerella which was fabulous. Fries were so good too. My husband and I both loved it and could not finish as the portion was quite sizeable. We could have honestly split it as the table bread was quite good also. Great value for NYC and plan to come back . Nice that it was a moderately quiet compared to most during the Showtime hours.
Food was very disappointing. Filet Mignon was tough with gristle. Eggplant, butternut squash were undercooked. Service was pleasant but that was not enough to justify high prices and bad food.
Very good service with friendly wait staff. The decor was modern but comfortable. The food however for the price was average.
Not really what I expected. Food was OK; nothing spectacular. No ambiance.
had to wait a bit to be seated. Found sitting at a booth close to the door was a bit cold as the door opened and closed but when we asked to move, it was not a problem. Enjoyed lunch before going to a show. Drinks (try the oz-mopolitan) and food (burger and salmon sandwiches) were all great!
My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at E & E. It was just the two of us and we had a delightful evening. Many thanks.
Had a wonderful time before we saw Wicked. Food and service was excellent for my wife's birthday. Will come back for sure next trip...
