   Had a great meal at Dustys last night! Service was excellent as was food. We ate in the enclosed patio area, which was nice and bright. It ended up being pretty noisy when it got full though.

   It was for my husband’s birthday. We had reservations and seated immediately. Our server was great! The soup was delicious. My husband’s steak dinner was great. My duck dinner was not good. The duck was overcooked and the rest of the food didn’t really go with the duck. The noise level is pretty high. Overall I don’t think we’ll return.

   First time here and will be back! Food was very good. Great ambiance and our server Colton was fantastic and we were his first table he head ever taken care of. He really did a great job which is a testament to their training practices. Prices were a little higher than I expected but overall a very nice evening out.

   We started with mussels as an appetizer and they were all right, but our dinners were not. I ordered the duck and found it tough, dry and tasteless. My partner's dinner steak was also tough with little or no flavor. The house wine, however was very nice. We won't go there anymore. Very disappointed.

    This is our go to place for a special occasion. It was a little busier than usual (at 5 pm) because it was pre-Valentine's weekend but that did not affect the attentiveness of the waiter(Freddie), time in getting the food to us ice cold(salad) or piping hot(entrees). The portions were kind of large for 2 women but delicious and the leftovers will make another dinner so that's OK. We were seated in the area requested (away from the bar). It's pricey but we expect that and it's no more than we pay at many other places in the area and absolutely worth every dollar we spend.

    We had a great meal at Dusty's. It was our first time and we really enjoyed it. We made a reservation through open table and needed to change it. I called the restaurant and Jeremy called me back and was so accommodating. Emily was our server and she was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We ordered the calamari (excellent), duck , mahi-mahi and the mushroom stroganoff. The Mahi-mahi was clearly the win. We will go back.

    A far cry from the Dusty's of years ago. Although my dinner was good this time, the cost made me feel like I was dinning in New York. This is Lansing, MI - not New York City. Be prepared for $100+ for dinner with all of the trimmings. It's a shame that Lansing has only a handful of fine restaurants.

    First time there. Food was very good except one of our dinners came with green beans, which we love. However, we spent half the meal discussing if they were canned. I don’t expect a $200 dinner to come with canned vegetables.

    Service was a tad off. Had to request ice and additional water. The food was good overall. Liked my chop salad best. Lights were quite bright for evening dining. Not the Dusty’s it once was. First visit since pre/Covid.

    It's been a long time since I have been to Dusty's Cellar. We visited before the Michigan State basketball game. I ordered the filet. While it was booked perfectly inside, the outside was burned black. I ended up just cutting it off before eating the rest. Additionally, I had some basic questions about the wine selection and the server was not able to answer or offer to have someone else come over to answer my questions. I expect better from Dusty's.

    Dusty’s provided an excellent dinner…..my husband and I split the Scottish salmon. It was well cooked, very moist. Our waitress Emily was very gracious as we asked her questions about the menu. She was there immediately we sat down, we told Emily we had another engagement in 2 hours, in another town. She was vey efficient in making sure our food came quickly, and checked several times to make sure we were still in schedule. The noise level was quite bad. We met with another couple and had a difficult time talking over the noise. Food was good, I had a glass of wine……quite pricey at $9-$10 a glass. We paid for good food and the ambience.

    Where do I begin… First off, the host and seater were very unfriendly, no bread was offered, appetizers tasted similar to a frozen meal from Kroger, and all of our entrees were subpar—duck was overcooked & tasteless (literally tasted like table water with a gamey aftertaste), salmon was very fishy & overcooked, mashed potatoes tasted like instant, steak was over salted and undercooked, and chicken was dry, overcooked, and over seasoned. Terrible dessert selection as well, and to be honest, I really couldn’t justify giving this place any more business. Waitress did her best but was overbooked and was responsible for too many tables. As with so many restaurants post-pandemic, very under staffed and the staff that is working is overworked and not happy about it. Extremely overpriced for what you receive, not worth it in any way. This was supposed to be a Christmas family evening out beginning with dinner, and to say the least this experience set a bad tone for the entire night. Unfortunate & sad. Another post-pandemic restaurant fatality. Wish them well but we won’t be back.

    The waiter hardly waited on us. We ordered all at the start, received our cocktails and appetizer. When the food was brought to the table, he immediately asked if it was acceptable prior to our first bite. He then rushed off. No chance to order wine with dinner. My mussels were dark orange and VERY fishy tasting. About half of them were closed. When the waiter finally returned, no questions about the uneaten mussels but he did finally ask we wanted another beverage. Really disappointing.

    They didn’t make me feel very welcomed as a party of 1. I specifically wanted a table, so I made this reservation and they still offered the bar. The server didn’t seem to be very happy or pleasant. It took at least 5 minutes for them to even greet me at my table. He also made a comment about me being there by myself.

    We arrived early and they were able to seat us quickly. Probably because it was post- football game, the dining room was much noisier than usual. Still enjoyed the meal and the drinks. Our waitperson, Jordan, made an excellent recommendation for wine. He thought it would better suit my meal than the wine I was considering. He was correct and his advice was greatly appreciated.

    We’ve always loved Dusty’s Wine Bar. Haven’t been since pre Covid. Unfortunately we were disappointed. While the food was good, we weren’t thrilled with the menu. The appetizer was just ok - seemed a bit soggy. Had to send a drink back twice (flat tonic - finally said never mind). Maybe the waiter was inexperienced, but didn’t seem real attentive. Had to ask for more water. Rattled off desserts (viewing a menu would have been nicer) while holding our food too closely to his mouth that he was having packaged up. Maybe it was just an off night. Maybe good help is just hard to find these days. Not feeling to need to race back anytime soon.

    I've been dining at Dusty's Wine Bar for many years and the pandemic has done it no favors. Food prices are sky high, the menu has been slimmed down (12 entrées total), no daily specials that night, a less than creative cocktail menu, and tiny dessert offering (3 desserts plus Vanilla Gelato). Our young server didn't seem thrilled to be working on a Friday night which set a bad tone for our dinner. I had to ask for bread after the entrées arrived and like others said there was no parting brownie bites after paying the bill as there have been in years past. While the food was good, I won't be back anytime soon until I see menu improvements.
