Good food, great view of ocean and stunning sunsets. Easy valet parking. Bar area, no reservations, looked fun too!

Second time here in the past week. Took family for lunch, it's a favorite stop. Window view is the best, or outside. Outside is no reservation, 1st come basis. Valet parking is convenient. Hostess station upon entering, always pleasant. Server was great. Food and drinks very good. Crab cakes, crab Wong going, yum! Fish of the day, all very good. Really wanted a speciality coffee, but it's the simple coffee or tea. Not a deal breaker. Average price runs about $50 per person, including a cocktail.
Definitely will return.

Possibly the worst food we have had - the BBQ mango chicken salad had chicken that was hardly cooked, chain places like CPK have far better quality for less than $14. The daily fish - mahi mahi - $17 was a tiny piece without flavor and in a rubbery yellow glaze served with minute rice and a cold macaroni salad worse then a grocery store deli case. Of course the view is the only redeeming aspect - go for a drink but skip the food.

Food was ok... ServIce was solid. Not sure where the ratings come from. I don’t the think the food matches the price tag. First time experience and the last.

Looking for a place near Malibu that was not ridiculously overpriced with good food. This please had good food, good service, great ocean view (we went after dark, so didn't see much), reasonably priced. So much better value than MoonShadows.

Wonderful view of Pacific waves. Very attentive and caring service. Delicious food - and the nostalgia it evokes since it was the Sea Lion Restaurant of my childhood.

My family was visiting out of town (I live in Santa Barbara), and I made a reservation for lunch on a Sunday because they had heard about Dukes in Malibu and were excited to go. When we arrived, we were seated on the waterfront, which is amazing! But after we settled in, the server informed us we could only eat the buffet....no one informed me of this when I made the reservation, and it doesn't say that on the menu for Sunday lunch (in fact they have a good looking lunch menu online and it's partly why I chose the place). A couple of my family members hate buffets (they don't like people hovering over their food), so we were forced (staff were pretty cold to us) to sit in the crowded, noisy, bar with no view. Food was o.k. (but what can you expect from bar food?). In short, my family was totally disappointed that Dukes didn't live up to their hype (their from the mid-west). I'm not blaming anyone, it was a simple error on both our parts, but Dukes staff could have been much more friendly and understanding. They could have at least allowed our large party to remain in the dining area (it was 2:00 in the afternoon, the dining room had tons of open tables), or comped our parking (we payed 20 bucks just to park our vehicles).

Valet parking $6 plus tip. Reservation was accommodated on time. Service was very good. Server gave us the time we wanted without being rushed.
Crab cakes appetizer, 2 small plate, but it was my main lunch entree. Fried calimari is done in long strips instead of circles, very good, more meaty this way. I have had this a few times. About 5 strips. Fish of the day was great too. Good cocktails. And ofcourse, dining with a view, so lovely.

View is exceptional, right on the water with a nice breeze. Service was very good and food was excellent! Parking in Malibu is always hard but there is a large lot at Dukes but valet only. the charge is nominal at $5.00.

This is a very reasonably priced restaurant considering the quality of food and the location. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food portions were just right and prepared exactly as specified. The ocean setting makes this a very relaxing place for just about any occasion. Will definitely come here again.

Can I please shout out to the best server Tina? She was warm, friendly, engaging and helped us (a large party) through our complicated selections!! Happy to hear she is also originally from NJ and she is going there next week. She was super helpful and I will gladly recommend Duke's again.

Food was fresh and tasty, the vibe was fun and our large party really enjoyed ourselves.

We got a perfect window booth, as we requested (a few days in advance) and the service was friendly and efficient and the brunch was plentiful and good quality. I missed my usual waffles, but everything else was there in abundance. It's a great place to take your out-of-town guests for brunch.

Had a lovely meal, the rocket salad was very tasty. Loved the coconut shrimp and clam chowder. Our waiter Darryl was very nice. Would of liked the crab cakes to be more crispy. Fried calamari was not my favorite. Great view, very romantic. I would recommend this restaurant.

Friendly, accommodating staff!! Beautiful ocean view (we saw dolphins!)
Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, and was happy to share what his favorites were! He kept our water and our colas full throughout our meal. We tried 4 different entrees; the filet mignon was seriously THE BEST any of us had ever had! I enjoyed the pan-seared ahi—delicious! The Hot Pot is a scrumptious offering of seafood, and the salmon was flavorful and tender. Topped this off with a serving of Duke’s Hula Pie. It’s as good as the legend claims...😂 Definitely will seek out Duke’s as often as is humanly possible!!

Wow, what an amazing way to spend my Birthday. The food was delicious, the waiter was fantastic, and everyone who works here was just the nicest and wished me a Happy Birthday and the view of the ocean just threw it over the top (my table was next to the window). I highly recommend coming here. I loved it and will be back.

Beautiful scenery as Duke's is located on PCH, by the and offers ocean great views. Food is very mediocre at Sunday brunch. They offer a buffet with lots of food choices, but nothing tastes great. For birthdays, they give a free of charge ice cream cake which is delicious and a nice treat. Go for the views and atmosphere.
