This was our granddaughter's first visit to Duke's and it didn't disappoint. From the window seat where she could be distracted by the ocean view, to the care and attention given her by the waitstaff, it was such a fun night. Thank you for making her first visit to Southern California so memorable!

Our only complaint (the reason I didn’t mark them lower than 5 stars even though we had a complaint is because it’s a Hawaiian restaurant) was that they have very few nut free options, and even the things that were nut free, they acknowledged were prepared either in vessels, or with utensils that were cross contaminated with macadamia nuts. The end result was that my daughter was basically limited to a small handful of entrées and I think only one or two starters. It was fortunate that she likes fish and seafood because there were absolutely no non-seafood options for her. Again we didn’t mark them down because it is a Hawaiian themed restaurant, and I somewhat would’ve expected macadamias to be prevalent in their dishes, but there should be more options.

Great experience with the family. Zan was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and made the perfect recommendations. Also knew right when to bring the drinks 😊. The food was very tasteful. The kids ate up the calamari! Ended up getting two orders. Can’t wait to go back when the weather is nicer.

Fun, casual, a little pricey, My husband had never been to Duke's Malibu so off we went for a fun evening at Duke's. The atmosphere is casual, loose and very enjoyable. Our server was lots of fun, very attentive and helpful. I had a delicious herb crusted halibut, my husband had the seared ahi, and we shared a truly yummy appetizer of calamari that came with a delicious red sauce as well as a lemon remoulade. We also had cocktails (he a martini and I a raspberry mojito) and ended by sharing a big slice of incredible hula pie. Yum. My only complaint - it seems rather expensive. We spent nearly $175 (including tip) and we shared an appetizer, we each had one cocktail, and we didn't order the most expensive things on the menu. Perhaps we're out of touch with current prices. I wish there were a few more gluten free alternatives on the menu also.

Had another great experience at Duke's Malibu last night for my Dad's birthday. Our original reservation was for an outdoor table but the weather was chilly and we were able to be moved inside. All of the food and the wine was terrific, we finished every bite and all of the staff was very welcoming and wishing my Dad a happy birthday. It was a very special and memorable evening. Thank you!!

Service was great! Food was delicious. We enjoyed the view from our window seat and our server was exceptional. Only set back was a strong odor. Not sure if it was coming from the outside sewage but it was strong when we walked in.

Busy and touristic but can’t beat the view. Had the mahi mahi fish tacos, crab wonton and breakfast burrito for me any my bestie. Katie was an amazing waitress. Better to come early on a Sunday or weekday but good food, attentive service and valet is fair at $10.

We asked for patio dining yet when we got there they said no nothing on reservation we would have to wait 20 minutes we're outside table We sat at the bar 2-3 tables were open in patio area we could see from the bar 20-25 later I asked another employee and older woman very nice sat us immediately in the patio area as requested

Ambiance was chill with cool vibe. Better place for lunch/dinner. Went for breakfast, pancakes were rubbery. Breakfast burritos was tasty but could use more flavor and plating could improve. Paying for ocean view. Would recommend trying at least once if visiting Malibu.
