Service and view amazing. Ribs and hula pie amazing. Seafood risotto was a miss but otherwise good was amazing.
Our dinner experience at Dukes was exceptional. Service, food and ambience was top notch.
Wonderful service and food, from reception thru to dessert! Sam was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. Enjoyed our special evening in very special place. Thank you!
Amazing service, food, ambiance, everything!!!
Every time we go to Dukes - best experience ever.
My husband and I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, dinner and a happy hour during our stay on Maui. It was a beautiful view, great food and great service. We highly recommend!!
Food, service and ambiance were all excellent, and we always enjoy eating the hula pie.
Dreyson was awesome— very attentive, friendly and gave great food & drink recommendations.
Great as usual
Got seated right away and we had a sunset view. Service attentive, informative, and with a smile. The Hula Pie was a hit OF COURSE!
Thanks great food great venue great ambiance Hula Pie for everyone!
Mediocre is the best word to describe. That said, there are SO many more options for a nice dinner out. It’s not inexpensive - so fair just doesn’t cut it. Fish over cooked, vegetables cold and the rice was dry. Location is awesome but not good enough to offset bad food. Won’t go back.
Great place to celebrate our visit to Maui. The ambiance was outstanding...favorite of ours.
Dukes is a great place to spend a romantic evening. Menu is great but could use an update as it has not changed for years. We love the music and the tiki torches with the sound of the ocean in the background. Bar is a bit noisy and distracts diners seated nearby, so we moved to a table away from the bar. We had excellent service and a wonderful meal. I recommend Dukes to anyone wanting to make it a special night in West Maui.
Loved the table we got and everything was great! Book before you arrive for best times!
Another great meal at Duke’s! Can’t beat the Hula pie!!
Food quality was very good. Wine by glass was very average. Had both Pinot noir and one was supper fruit forward with little structure. The other was good earthy but had a bite and flavor closer to a Syrah. High alcohol content left it with a bite. Main course was well prepared and presented. Great view and setting. The service was very good.
Lovely location and ambiance. But the food was expensive and no big deal. Dry shrimp. Mediocre vegetables. Salad with little flavor. The dinner rolls were great!
Food was fantastic! Great spot right on the beach we watched the sunset from our table.
Anniversary dinner at table 6- perfect view, great dinner and service.
It’s exactly what you’d expect from a nice place at a resort with a semi-captive audience. Good for everyone from families to couples and the live entertainment during happy hour and early dinner is always great.
This won’t be the best meal you’ve ever had, but the service is good, the relative value is solid and you won’t leave disappointed like many other places along the Kaanapali shores.
Delightful atmosphere and staff. Food was good. If you plan on buying a shirt do so prior to being seated, (you will get a free hula pie). The location is nice. Get there prior to sunset to get the most out of the expierance.
The service was great and the view outstanding. Highly recommend
Dukes is better for breakfast or lunch. Food is unimaginative, the menu seldom changes.
My fish steamed in banana leaves was dry and tasteless, thought the other dishes were satisfactory. Lava cake was cold. Great location and scenery but overall, so so at best.
Birthday...it was an outstanding experience
Really, food was decent, nothing special, but we don’t have high expectations, we don’t come to Hawaii for food :)
We had a lovely evening at Dukes for our anniversary. They didn’t acknowledge the celebration but we still had a great night with delicious food!
We had a lovely dinner at Duke’s! The food was outstanding and our server Derek did a wonderful job. The sunset view was a beautiful bonus!
Sonny is an excellent server.
Food was great though risotto more creamy than I like.
Have been to Dukes many times and will go many more. Always good experience.
Location for seating plays a great part in ambiance.
We had a very nice table and the food was good as always.
Pleasant staff. Friendly and polite.
This TS restaurant is not as good as the others such as Kimos and Leilani’s. Although on the ocean, the seating is not set up great. Great for families with kids including small ones. However that is also an issue as each time we have gone there is a constant kid noise of crying and running around. The good is still very good but unless you like a lot of kid noise make your reservation after 8:00. There will still be kids but non quite as many. Very friendly and knowledgeable wait staff.
The food was absolutely the BEST. It was our last night after two weeks in Maui and I’m so glad we decided to eat here.
Our last meal while on Maui and it was AMAZING. The ambiance was perfect, both Beachy and romantic with live music playing in the background. We had a wonderful waitress, Chloe, who gave us great recommendations for our meals. I enjoyed the delicious Mac nut crusted fish and my husband had the pork ribs, both were perfection! Highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal on Maui!
Incredible food and water views. Impeccable service.
We are in Maui to celebrate our daughter’s 30th Birthday, however we always dine here while on Maui. The food and service is always excellent!
Mother’s Day dinner and they didn’t seat us anywhere near where we requested. It was made clear on the notes and obviously no one read them.
Major disappointment...the girls that checked us in were rude, had troubles finding our reservation which was made a week in advance. I knew it was Mother’s Day so made it for 5:00 and they weren’t busy yet. Our waitress was great but not one of us had a good meal. Fish was very dry, hamburger was over done, children fish and chips, the fish was greasy. Children’s Mac and Cheese was the only thing good. Lot of money for 5 bad meals...
I ordered the Mother’s Day brunch special — lobster eggs Benedict. The lobster was cold and spongy. One egg was over cooked and the other was very underdone—the egg white wasn’t even cooked. Very disappointing for a $25 entree.
We enjoyed our selves but waiter barley checked on us not really welcoming, acted rather tired. But enjoyed the beautiful view and food was ok, perhaps an omelette station would've been perfect
Buffet not worth it. Very disappointing and limited. Is there no toast no pastry limited fruit if there was any. It only comes with coffee, what if you want something different? You have to buy it off of the menu. order off menu.
