    The food was good except for the salad. One plate was lettuce with no dressing. The other plate of salad was lettuce and too much dressing. The atmosphere was excellent. We parked in the parking structure. Very frustrating to pay for parking. You must have a phone and be able to text. No parking attendant. I will avoid using the parking structure. A worker finally let us out of parking structure. Our texting wasn't working.

    Location at The Mission Inn is great. Historic hotel that’s one of a kind here on the West Coast. Restaurant is decorated/modeled after its origin. Very nice. Staff was great. Attentive but not overwhelming. I had one of their signature dished, Stesk Diane. It was perfect. Partner had the warm water lobster. Not the best. Parts were chewy. Mostly ok but not what you would expect from a high end restaurant . Lobster bisque was delicious. For dessert had the apple turbo. It was ok but could have been better. So, overall, it’s good but needs some improvement to be what they should be.

    This is a great spot if you are a steak connoisseur, the servers are knowledgeable regarding the menu, and wine pairing. They added to the atmosphere with their pleasant personalities. Our server was Catalano, and was very helpful and informative… I had the bone out Ribeye which I had Medium Well and it was to my preference. My wife had the Steak Diane and we had gone for her birthday and they didn’t disappoint, the crème brûlée was on point with how it was prepared chilled and flambéed to perfection. Will definitely be returning. Thanks Duane’s.

    Are first anniversary 20 years ago we got free desert and a Polaroid picture which was pretty cool they don’t do that anymore but it’s still a cool place to go eat and historic place to check out if you’ve never been.

    Unfortunately the food was not to the quality that we have come to expect at Duane’s. The steak is usually far more flavorful and tender. This was not the case this time. The primary waiter was scarce in his existence; however the assistant wait staff were great. Hopefully improvements will be made as other patrons made complaints as well.

    I ordered the bone in rib eye medium well. There was no sear on it at all. It looked like it was heated longer at a lower temperature to make it more well done. The cap was slightly seared, as expected, but the center was like boiled meat. Very disappointed. We have lived in Riverside 30 years and used to go often to Duane’s. This was not a great experience. For just 2 people and a bill over $300 (with only one glass of wine as the only alcohol), this dinner should have been perfect and “special”. My wife’s fillet was good but, again, not really seared. String beans a bit undercooked, mushrooms were a bit overcooked. Salad was great. Bread was uneventful- looks like Brea Bakery Italian bread, you guys need to bake your own, or have a nice basket with a variety to include breadsticks. Again, it was not ‘special’. Dessert was perfectly done- creme brûlée.

    For my parent's 40th wedding anniversary, I booked them a night at the Mission Inn, and dinner at Duane's Steakhouse. On the reservation through OpenTable, I noted it was their 40th wedding anniversary. A day before the reservation, I called the restaurant and confirmed they knew it was a special event. At the dinner, the server asked if there was a special occasion. My parents shared it was their 40th wedding anniversary. Not once throughout the rest of the meal, was a congratulations, special drink, appetizer, or dessert presented to celebrate the event. For such a beautiful restaurant, in a beautiful hotel I am very disappointed in the lack of action taken by the team to make the evening extra special.

    This was our first time at Duane‘s although we’ve lived in Riverside most of our 64 years. It definitely lived up to the expectation. While it was pricey, I felt that the setting being in the Mission Inn, the ambience and the food were worth it. It was our 38th anniversary so for a special occasion it’s definitely a great option. The servers and assistants were very attentive and pleasant. We didn’t feel rushed at all, but it was a Thursday night and not very busy whatsoever. Not sure what the difference would be on a weekend. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would recommend 10/10.

    Very disappointed that Duane's no longer serves chocolate soufflés; my wife and I indulge once or twice a year. The waiter after the obligatory five minutes after serving to ask "how is everything," and later poured one more glass of our Champagne but didn't finish. We had to have a busboy finish pouring our wine. You are only served two pieces of bread and rest of the loaf was not left on the table; the waiter never offered more and again we asked a busboy who brought more bread, but part of if was burnt. My steak was very good, but the béarnaise sauce was lacking. My wife's lobster was not "sweet" although it was alright. Overall we will be looking for another place when we decide to go to a fine restaurant. The previous times we've gone to Duane's were great. This time was not.

    This was our first visit to Duane’s and we were hopeful it would be the perfect choice for my son’s 18th birthday. We chose Duane’s based on reviews and WOW! it did it disappoint!! The ambience, the service, the choices, the food….impeccable!!! I don’t know that we’ve ever experienced such attentive service anywhere and we’ve traveled all over with some great dining experiences. But Duane’s knocked it out of the park!! Thank you to all our table staff - from the hostess, to the main waiter, to the assistant waiters - you made our son’s night perfect!! We’ll definitely be back!!!

    We have been celebrating birthdays and anniversaries for many years at Duane’s. This year we were a little disappointed. Our favorite salad was missing ingredients and just didn’t have the same flavor. They didn’t have some items that were on the menu. No specials. The fish was so so. The dessert we picked, apple tart turnover, seemed liked something you would take out of a box in your freezer. Not expected at a 4 star restaurant. Sad to see the change.

    it was crowded, but we were sat at a large for top. What staff was tableside within three minutes of our sitting down. we ordered steak and lobster and steak was done to perfection. The portions were large. Cocktail service was a little bit slow coming. Our waiter was not flamboyant or outgoing in any way just quiet and robotic. We will come to Dua cal ne’s again.
