It had been awhile since I last dined there and was as good as I remembered. The selection was extensive and the food very good. Wait staff was attentive and very pleasant.

It's a bit unfaitrto judge a restaurant on a single meal, especially so when my wife's dish --vegetable tempura--was handsomely presented and consumed with relish. Not so my beef massaman, a curry dish and Thai staple I've enjoyed many time elsewhere. The dish arrived as a smallish bowl filled with the appropriate ingredients (rice on the side) but the brown beef swam in a too thin broth. If there was coconut milk present, it was barely so. And the thinness of the broth made the peanuts and potatoes seem like ingredients hastily added. rather than important contributors to the dish. The waitress was charming, and having part of the menu on a mini pad with illustrations of various dishes was both novel and helpful. Certainly worth another try by me, and probably by you as well.

As someone who has been coming here for years, I was genuinely appalled by what happened last night at dinner. I brought a friend who had never been and ordered the same order I have had several hundred times. The sexy man roll didn't taste the way I've had it hundreds of times before and I asked my waitress if perhaps they didn't make it with tuna because it tasted terribly (it was a pale pale pink). She told me it was tuna and set it back down. Luckily, someone else came and took it away and replaced it and there was a noticeable difference (in taste and color) . I would've been perfectly fine with that but then our waitress had the audacity to bring out two pieces of sashimi as if to educate me better. Congratulations Drunken Poet, you've lost a longtime customer and someone who has frequently brought people to try out your food. To say I'm disappointed with this incident would be an UNDERSTATEMENT. Shame on you for treating me this way. If I could attach pictures, I would show you the distinct differences.

Below average service. Very slow kitchen. Served Black Tea and had to request Green Tea after being told we were served Green Tea. Do Servers not know the difference? Mushy vegetables in every dish all appeared to be precooked or reused from another day. My father requested to speak with the chef who failed to acknowledge his feedback and did not even make eye contact - wow! We only booked because my son wanted Thai for his graduation dinner. Our venue was changed to Sarasota and regrettably we picked here. Never again. Plenty of other food options in Sarasota.

Spring Rolls were very disappointing! Pad Tai was quite tasty! Make sure on a scale of 1-5 for heat, you stay at 1, unless you like hot!

Food was bad. Soups were sweet like a syrup. When we asked the waiter he said they add sugar to their soups. Chicken satay was hard and dry. When the waiter told us that all their curries also have sugar we decided not to order the main course. I am a big fan of THAI food and have visited Thailand many times. Never heard of a Thai curry with sugar in it. This used to be a good place. The waiter told us they have a new chef.

Terrible Thai Spareribs. Not worth the money and inedible. Basically boiled, gray ribs and only about 4 of them.

We arrived for our reservation on time and seated. 20 minutes went by and we finally got water. 10 minutes late a guy came out and asked if we had ordered and we said no and had not made a drink order. He was to get someone. 10 minutes later we walked out. The place was not busy enough to be that inefficient. Place was chaos mode or in the weeds per restaurant talk. We are done, will not be back and make sure everyone knows. Open table should take them off the program as there is NO EXCUSE.

The owner really has put her heart into the restaurant and it shows. The food is very good and is very good value for money. The atmosphere is good and there is a feel good energy. One of the best restaurants on Main Street and in Sarasota.

The best Thai food in town. Love the great appetizers, the veggie tempura, and the
chicken cashew nut. So many good dishes, it's hard to decide what to order, and we
usually order several different things. Pleasant place to sit.

Had my son's birthday dinner there with friends. Relaxing atmosphere and good food. Would have been better if my food was warmer but the crispy duck was Thai comfort food. The rice dish in a half pineapple shell looked good and the sushi was great.

Visited on NYE, so likely busier than usual. Sat outside at one of two tables, the waiter seemed new and overwhelmed as many requests were not handled well nor in a timely manner. Food once received was very good, ordered cooked food plus sushi – would order either again happily. Check was rang improperly, charged for an appetizer rather than a sushi roll ($45 vs $15) manager gave me $15 cash rather than refunding on the card but this amount was still not accurate. Was in a hurry so I left it the way it was.

Would like to return again when things are not so busy, hopefully this will help the speed of getting food and improve server attentiveness.

The food was great but we waited 20 minutes to sit down with a reservation then when we sat down we waited another 30 minutes before being served then we finally called over a guy who worked there and said basically we've been waiting for like half an hour and we didn't even know who our waitress was and then he said he'd take care of it then we waited and waited and another 30 minutes later we still didn't know who our waitress was so we asked and we finally got served

Appetizer was really small and I was concerned it may have been a little 'off'.
Our curries were really good but we then had to wait 10 mins for dessert and another 20 mins for the check.
They did not have our reservation, even though it was booked through OpenTable, so we were sat right by the door on a surprisingly cold night.

My experience was at this restaurant was poor. Everything felt disorganized and slow, except for getting the check. We were handed the check before even being asked if we wanted coffee/desert. My husband was still eating his entree and he was offered a "to go" box. I had sushi which was one grade above bad and my husband a crispy duck which was hard to chew and my edamame came out cold. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

We have eaten here in the past and enjoyed it. Once seated we waited 20 min for anyone to wait on us. Once I got the owner to come over she took our order and got most of it wrong. Still took over 40 min just to get our appetizers. the owners son came in and got our food for us. The food was just OK and the soft shell crab was just relly bad. Never going back

We were extremely disappointed with our meal. When we arrived, we advised that we had a movie to go to in 2 hours. We did not get even some of our appetizers until we had been there for almost one hour and 45 minutes. We only received half of them and no sight of our main courses. The service was horrible. We asked for our meal several times and received no real response. How long does it take to bring out soup and salad????? We were among at least 4 other tables that were as disappointed as we were. We were forced to leave without eating dinner, do to the disorganized and poor service we were faced with. We would never come back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone.
