Drunken Dragon Ratings and Reviews
Nothing about this restaurant was too good. Food was mediocre, service wasn't good at all and tuna sushi pizza was terrible, old tuna, had to send it back. They rushed everything out at once. Certain parts of menu are only available at certain tables but they do not tell you that when making reservation. Would not recommend
My girlfriend and I went when we were in town on vacation and on a Friday night they accommodated us being late.
To keep things short, it was actually the best dinner date I have had in my life.
Highlights: Sake was amazing. Bok Choy was incredible, and the short rib was also incredibles. Finished the night with 2 wonderful cortaditos!
I came here with my husband after a two-week business trip to treat ourselves. The atmosphere is upbeat, energetic, and intimate. Starting from the inconspicuous front entrance, the restaurant puts its cards on the table for the experience you are getting into. The menu offers many options, from an array of vegetable dishes to succulent meats - you can eat as much or as lightly as you want, which was great for us as my husband is vegetarian. The extensive sake menu runs the gamut as well, and rounds out the full bar offer. I find it a bit pricey for regular date nights, but a great option for special occasions if you want a fun atmosphere and delicious, unique food.
It's truly a hidden gem. Our first time there I couldn't find it behind a non presupposing facade and no drunken dragon sign. It's a strip center and its entrance is under a a sign that reads MARKET. The food is sensational. Their fried chicken, although not Korean BBQ, is fantastic. Everything from Edamame to their BFR is worth eating. Highly recommended.
It was my first time visiting, and I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was great, service was great, and the food was wonderful. It was fun to order from the BBQ menu and cook my own food at the dinner table. Would highly recommend to anyone. I plan to go back in the future.
So I should probably preface this review with I do not reside in Miami, but after my visit here, I sure as heck wish I did because I would probably be here on the daily!
Initially came her upon recs from other trusted Yelpers for their Miami Spice offering, but was super impressed by their fantastically priced HH! Seriously, this Hora Feliz will bring a smile to your face because the not only are the noms as good (and cheap) as the drinks, but they are top notch quality! I literally had 5 drinks off the HH menu prior to being sat for our Spice res. The Drunken Roulette is the absolute best way to go, especially with Carlos behind the drink helm! He made his version of an Old Fashioned that I dubbed "Carlito's Way" and it was just part of a long list of some of the best things I have put in my mouth from DD!
Pro-Tip: Hit up the HH and get the beer of the day and the sake carafe and make your own sake-esque "bomb" (just pour the sake into the beer and chug...you're welcome!).
Now on the to the food...everything as in EVERYTHING was absolutely fantastic! We ordered off the Spice menu and did the Udon w/shrimp...the shrimp were HUGE and the noodles delicious!
But, for me, what really puts a dining experience over the top is the service, and the service here from beginning to end was stellar! It was a VIP experience without the pretension. From the hostesses who were able to accommodate a couple of res changes on the fly, to the amazing barstaff, to Kevin, our waiter, everyone was beyond nice, personable, and made our visit like we were dining with friends! And, kudos, again to Kevin who made some informed and legit recs on how we should order off the Spice menu and who was just such a great person to interact with.
I will definitely be returning on any subsequent trips to Miami! I am missing DD already...
This restaurant always continues to please the pallet. Offers great Asian inspired delights that are creative, tasty and fun. Great for a special occasion to try something new in the food world. Before dinner, "meet you at the bar" for a handcrafted cocktail unique to this restaurant with more than tasty snacks before dinner. Highly recommended for unique dinning. Not to mention the pleasant and interesting design of the restaurant.
Unassuming place, literally no signage on outside aside from marquee "Market" in red. I only knew I was at the right place by reading others state this in their reviews. Took my cousin from London there, wanted something different & exciting to show her. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is something for everyone on the menu. It's cool to bbq your own 🥘food. Makes for a fun night. The waitress was helpful and attentive. The food 😋 yummy. Would recommend. 👍🏽
Great environment, classy, sexy decor. Food is on point. I need to go back to try everything else. It's a hidden Gem so there were 2 tables of celebrities in the night I went. Great for late night dining. Need to come back for Build you own Ramen night offered Sunday-Tuesday. This place is a must go when in Sobe
