I wouldn’t recommend... the menu selection wasn’t that great.. the flavors weren’t there.. We just weren’t impressed back to Gyu Kaku we go.
Happy Hour is incredible value. Though the standard menu can get pricey because portions are intentionally small, sharing style, the food is so good and service is always phenomenal. Never had a bad experience at this restaurant and Ryan does a great job managing the team. I could list everything that is delicious but I’ve never had anything bad, so I’ll just say do yourself a favor and start with the crispy bok choy. Pumpkin bread dessert when in season is phenomenal.
We had a reservation for outdoor seating which they did not honor. Furthermore, the outdoor seating is located just in front of the main door where the concept of 2 ft distance was not respected. Finally, they sat me and my girlfriend inside in a very crowded environment that did not respect the maximum 50% capacity and noted that cleaning practices were not thorough enough as per cdc guidelines. We ate and leave as quick as we can.

First evening out since restaurants opened up again. Very happy we chose DD. Our server Juan was great, friendly and knowledgeable on menu items. Can’t wait to visit again.
Food was amazing but don't go to late because the accept late reservation but RUSH you because the kitchen is closing. Takes a bit away from the experience of the grill :( but great overall

We told the waiter my brother is allergic to nuts. When they brought a cake for his birthday we asked before he took a bite if it had peanuts and they said no! When his lip started swelling they still denied it had peanuts but went to get Benedryl. It was only after he had the Benadryl that they confessed the cake had macadamia.
Great food, great service. Love how it looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but is so beautiful on the inside.

The water girl not once changed her gloves. She wiped the tables, the seats, grabbed all the napkins and then grabbed the water jug—all with the same pair of gloves on

Always a good meal never disappoints. High price point for portions but flavor is amazing. Went for a friends birthday and they surprised us with ice cream at the end which a wonderful.

Big Fan of Drunken Since I move to Miami 6 years ago, I was happy that they reopen after the devastating covd19 shutdown. I made a reservation and we were only seated after an hour an half. I understand with the covid19 situation everyone is trying to work around the best way. But, if a reservation is indeed accepted and confirmed, I'm expecting that for any restaurant to be prepared for the dinner shift. Will be back once everything get a bit more back to normal.

The food was very fair for the price which was expensive for four people. Service Ok. The bbq you have to cook on your own was very difficult as the cooking area was not hot enough even for the steak. The shrimp took a long time to cook and it never cooked through. The tuna pizza was on a thin slice of bread, tuna slices and greens tossed over it. The winners were the fries, mushroom buns, ad the deserts which were outstanding. The drinks were good.

Terrible service. Red wine was served hotter than room temperature. Manager did not care about how poorly dinner was going. Would not go back.

We came at 8:30pm sharp and we had a reservation for that time. The blond hostess told us to wait at the bar. When I asked for how long she told me she didn’t know. That we had people ahead of us. When I asked about reservations, she turned to the manager who told us it was 30 seconds. He split a table for 4 and created room for our reservation. When we got to our table I noted it was very close to another couples table. Wanting some privacy we asked for the table that was a little further. She told us the table was reserved and when I ask how could that be, having noted that the manager split the table maybe 5 min earlier, she told us wnjoy your evening and left!!!! After that it all went downhill, the waitress spilled the dressing of our Bok Choy all over the table, service was mediocre at best. Overall, if you are looking for good food and dining experience, DONT GO THERE. Not even worth it even if it is complimentary.
That is the problem with Miami, bad food, bad attitude, bad service at New York Prices with 20% included so they don’t give a damn.

An awesome experience all around - The food was fantastic - and the service was amazing. We especially enjoyed the great bartenders and bar scene. Also great to have a table with a grill - skirt steak was thee best! We will be back! Fun special night for us!
Very expensive for the quality of food. I font mind paying for expensive food if it’s worth it but this place was not. The rice was under cooked and extremely hard on both meals we ordered and the shrimp was over cooked. It was almost like it was premade.

Simply awful. Will never go back. The waitress constantly rushed us to order. We ordered skirt steak medium rare, it came out extremely rare. We asked to finish cooking the meat. They brought it back out within five minutes still extremely rare. Additionally, we ordered pork belly bao buns that never showed up. The waitress claimed that the buns took awhile to make. However we received each pork belly and extra buns in the meantime while waiting for the bao buns. Not sure how the pork belly buns took longer than each the pork belly and buns separately.

Mixed... I've been here before and loved it! Each time, I sat with a grill and had grilled dishes. Those are always excellent. However, on this occasion we tried something different, the bulgogi, which was good, but not a lot of meat (lots of onions and scallions though) and the lobster pot, which had trace amounts of tiny lobster pieces and was almost entirely rice. It also had some peppers in it that were pretty darn spicy, despite the waiter telling us it wasn't spicy. So it was a disappointing experience. The people are nice enough, and the hostess was super accommodating, but the waiter never checked to see how our food was and it was difficult to get his attention. The dishes, as mentioned, were really not worth it at all. $26 for a bowl of rice strikes me as a little obscene. I would much rather pay more and have a dish that was satisfying. On the other hand, on prior experiences eating the meat dishes on the grill, everything was great and the prices are fair. So stick with the grill and you're okay. I would not suggest the rice dishes.
