Normally the staff is at a 100%, unfortunately this Las Friday not so much. Server not to friendly and slow. Everyone had a bad night but was taking friends there to show them whyt his was my favorite place. Disappointed this time around.
There were three of us. Two ordered the filet and shrimp, which was very good. Steaks were done to perfection and the shrimp was also very tasty, not overcooked. The house salad was also very good. The third person ordered the 3-choice $49 dinner. That included the French onion soup, which she said was very good. She also ordered the filet and shrimp which included garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Her dessert was a Strawberry Lemon Thyme Cake, which she shared with us. It was very good. For the bigger appetite, I would definitely recommend the 3-choice $49 dinner. Service, as on previous occasions, was excellent.
Return visit to Dream Dance, food was excellent, service was outstanding.
It was an overall mediocre experience. Food was ok and service was slow.
Dinner was delicious!! So much so that I ordered a steak to take home. Service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our dining experience!!!
The food was average at best. My shrimp bisque didn't have any shrimp in it. My steak was overcooked and missing the sauce I asked for, and the sides were cold and bland. My friend ordered calamari and got overcooked frozen calamari with no dipping sauce. The best parts were the crab cake and desserts. It wasn't worth the price, would not go back.
This was a wonderful experience 2nd time we were there the service and food were far and above what we expected keep up the good work. It’s our new go too restaurant
Great restaurant, quiet, nice ambiance. Its a nice respite from the noise of the casino. The food and service were both outstanding.
I was skeptical i a not a gambler and casinos are not known for good food or ambience.
But this was certainly the exception to the rule, from the lady at the front desk to the staff who were behind the scenes the whole experience was fabulous.
The food was outstanding, the restaurant was clean and very atmospheric the staff knowledgeable and you did not even know they were there, i am a not everyone's favorite customer i don't like paying for bad food, and will let them know if i am unhappy, but none of that mattered here, our server a very nice lady came and went with no disturbance filled champagne glasses and cleared the table without even a word, just one enquire concerning our food and bringing out dishes, it could not have gone better excellent, best lobster very well cooked, wonderful steak,
we are defiantly going back wish i could have given it 1 stars.
Everything that the restaurant did was great! Honestly the best meal I've ever had. However, there were three gentlemen (that's the polite term) seated near us who watched YouTube videos on their phones for an hour and a half at full volume. They weren't showing each other videos, they were each watching different videos at full volume. The staff did not say anything to them and did not acknowledge to us that this behavior was not acceptable. I would absolutely go back, but would leave immediately if this behavior continued from other patrons. When spending $200.00+ on a dining experience I do not feel that this is unreasonable.
I can't say enough on how great the service was and how awesome the food was! It is all alacarte so it can be a bit pricey but it is nice to splurge once in a while! You can't hear any of the noise from the casino either. Very nice atmosphere.
Very nice for a special occasion!
Food was good. Steaks were good but not great. Service from start to finish was outstanding.
Steaks were so good and our server Christine was amazing would go back.
The food was delicious, and the service was just as great.
Superb, attentive service. Amazing wine list. Great selections on the menu.
The food was delicious and the service we received was outstanding. Will definitely be back
Too bad we have to go through so much smoke, to get to dream dance.
Was a fantastic dinner and experience! There was 6 in our group and everyone was extremely happy. Had filet mignon and it was amazing.
Overall experience was exceptional!! Been to Dream Dance Steak many times and always enjoyed everything. Saturday we had taken a family member for his belated birthday. He was very pleased and grateful for a wonderful dining experience. We will be back very soon.
We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner. Sides were ala cart. Husband had cup of soup I had a green salad and we shared a crab cake. Also shared a 6 oz lobster along with our steaks. Nice wine by the glass selection also. The restaurant provided us with a complimary dessert for my husbands birthday.
Dream Dance is still very good but, sadly, they changed their upscale menu to appeal to about everyone. The giant scallops are gone as well as other great items from the menu. This was a disappointing choice of Potowatomi as this lured us into the casino. Fine dining is no longer available there.
Delicious dining experience, very romantic - attentive wait staff. Would definitely go back.
Everything was excellent, except my 5oz filet of my Surf and Turf was not quite hot enough. Otherwise no complaints.
Went because convenient pre show. No where near Marcus Chop House and for more money. Quite dissatisfied with the food for the price.
Service was great. Ambience was standard steak house.
I had cowboy ribeye bone in. She, the salmon. Everything is ala carte. Veggies? Added charge. sauce? Added charge. The coffee tasted burnt
Not a fan of ala carte entrees. You get a piece of meat on a plate and sides are pricey. French onion soup was terrible- so salty it burned your mouth and had a sweet taste which as odd. Rest of meal was good. Veggies are near raw rather than tender crisp. Steaks were very good. Service was very good. Water guy was entertaining and very on top of fills. Nice atmosphere.
Our server, Michelle, was very attentive, friendly, and accommodating. My husband's steak filet was out of this world delicious. Very pricey, but would visit again for s special occasion.
Top notch service! Food was flavorful - filet was done to a perfect medium rare and the snapper special was plated beautifully. Glad we stopped, we’ll be back.
Hostess said if we didn't have a reservation there were no tables available this evening.
Walked outside and went on Open Table and reserved a table for a half hour later.
Went back in and told her we had a reservation and were seated immediately.
Definitely not the restaurant it used to be. The menu was uninspired. The steaks were good, but nothing else was notable.
The service was not what one expects from a fine dining experience, from the hostess seating us and handing the menus to the gentlemen first, to the general attitude of our server. We had bread on our table before anyone introduced themselves or took our beverage order.
I ordered the 14 Oz lobster tail special, as did the other woman in our group. The size difference between the two was notable. Earlier in the week, I had had an 8 Oz tail at a different restaurant, and the tail I was served was smaller than that one. When I mentioned to the server that my tail did not appear to be a 14 Oz tail, she offered to take it back to ask the chef. After a few minutes she cane back and said I was correct, and they were preparing another. No apology; and her attitude was one of placating me. I felt uncomfortable with the entire interaction, and that is not how I should have been made to feel.
The wine list was quite extensive. It was unfortunate not to have a sommelier to assist us with that splendid list.
We had Chris as our service person, She is an amazing waitress!!! From sharing the specials
of the evening, menu recommendations, very timely on cocktails and food delivery, checked on us often, and She is so pleasant!!!! We will always request her as our service person every time we visit Dream Dance! And the food was Outstanding!!!! I can't remember the last time I ate my complete meal! Thank You!!!! Hope to visit again soon!
Dream dance is accessed through a Casino which allows smoking. The smoke and noise adversely affects the mood inside Dream Dance, but once you are inside you can relax. The level of service has dropped significantly over the years and is good at best. We waited for the wine expert for 20 minutes and decided on another drink, which is strange for a restaurant that boasts about its incredible wine selection and knowledge. The server was good at best, nice girl but it was not special. Also mentioned our anniversary in the reservation and no mention was made throughout our time at Dream Dance. Food was good but simplistic for an upscale restaurant. There are much better dining experiences in Milwaukee.
The service was outstanding. The steaks were supreme.
Our previous visit a year or so ago was a 5 star from food to ambiance to the wait staff.
The steaks were excellent. Not this time. They evidently lowered the
quality of the steaks to reduce the price to gain more customers. My rib eye was fat filled!
The other 3 were better but not great. And I was the host!
We probably will not return unless I know that they offer better meat selections.
I don't mind paying for BETTER!
Went to Dream Dance for Valentines day, our steaks were terrific, perfectly done, tender and tasty.......everything was good, the potato/beet soup was fabulous..... the service was excellent. I also like the remodel as it is much cozier there now since the last time I dined there. I will be back soon! Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our Valentine's dinner here. It wasn't crowded and the steak was cooked perfect to our liking. The crab cake appetizer and French onion soup before our meal was very filling. However, the garlic mashed potatoes served with the steak tasted like store bought. The sides for the table are reasonable yet still large enough to share.
It was a great like always. Service was outstanding. Will not be my last visit. The only thing I don’t understand is I had to work to get a reservation for a restaurant that was 1/3 full. They were turning people away at the door. I think they way underutilize this restaurant. If I would have went to any other top end restaurant for Valentine’s Day they would have been packed. Not just say they were packed.
Everything was great. This was our Valentines Dinner with my valentine of 52 years
Food was good. However, when I made the reservation on Open Table - I stated it was a birthday dinner and the waitress never mentioned the birthday at all.
Tenderloin and lobster was delicious. I also had mushrooms and cheesy broccoli. Those were fantastic. Cinnamon cheesecake was tasty. Nice portions, took some home.
I hesitate to recommend for special occasion as I proposed marriage to my girl at dinner and the restaurant did not even compliment the champagne...I suspect most high end places would for a occasion such as that
