Dream Dance Steak at Potawatomi Bingo Casino Ratings and Reviews
Service was excellent. Our server was extremely nice and courteous. All staff were very friendly, from bringing extra bread to boxing up our leftovers. We ordered a filet mignon and Ribeye both medium and they were cooked to absolute perfection! The prices are reasonable and the overall experience was great! We will definitely go back!
We had a very disappointing experience here on NYE. We started with the $75.00 crab leg special. We received 2.5 legs total and they were dry but had good flavor. Still a lot of money for 2.5 legs. Then we ordered the filet/crab cake main course. The filet was excellent but once again the crab cake was dry and was mostly breading. Very little crab. We were served dry mashed potatoes that definitely needed more milk and butter and green beans that were blanched for a nano second and put on our plates right out of the water. Not good! They did comp 2 of the 4 meals and gave us a round of free drinks which was nice but clearly the management was not prepared for the event. It was so bad, I'll probably never go back. To end the night, they served us chocolate cake that had been left out on the counter all day and was dry on both sides like any cake will get when exposed to air for way too long.
My husband, adult daughter and I had a fantastic meal on New Year's Eve. Hubby had the Cattlemans cut ribeye which he was very happy with as it was cooked medium, his choice, and tasted delicious. Daughter and I ordered an 8oz filet (mine with fois gras), both steaks were cooked to medium rare perfection. So tasty!! From the moment we walked through the doors to the restaurant until we finished our meal we were treated very courteously and promptly by all staff, especially our waitress, who's name escapes me unfortunately, was very prompt, professional and personable . We've decided to make this our annual New Year's eve tradition.
Almost forgot to mention that the menu prices were on par with many steak houses. Great value for the food, service and ambience!!!
I’m at sorry to say that our experience at Dream Dance was a big let down. It had been on our list of special restaurants to try for years, and we finally had occasion to go to Potawatomi for a concert at Northern Lights and decided this was finally the right time to go and celebrate our anniversary. We did the 3 course menu. Onion soup was good. Filet was tough and over cooked (more medium than medium rare) and the crab cake was bland. The espresso cake for dessert was the highlight of the meal. When a restaurant is known for steak- you expect good steak! In fairness- we did not share this with the waitress and manager when they checked on us because we did not want to have an uncomfortable experience. However, we will not be back.
We were looking for a place to eat before a show. Two of our four are a bit fussy so this menu was agreeable to all. Also convenient when we didn't want to walk in the city. We went early so it was not crowded but as the room filled it did not seem noisy. Service was good. My husband and I enjoyed our steaks.
Steaks were correct portions sizes to the menu. Food was flavorful. Wish it wasn’t a la carte, that can bring the price up significantly. Still like going there for a special occasion. This time they were slow and sent home some wait staff and nobody picked up that we were sitting there waiting for 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Just something to note, the Restuarant is right off the casino floor and if you aren’t a smoker, if you spend any time in the casino before your dinner, you will smell like an ash tray.
William our server was super knowledgeable, and friendly 5 stars for that guy.. We got engaged the previous thurs with our kids present, so this was our first actual chance to celebrate as a couple and William made us feel the love.. The food was amazing as well... Thank you so much for the amazing experience!!!
the reviews were not very good but our experience was wonderful, The food was excellent the waiter we had was very friendly and helpful, from the gentleman that seated us
overall great. My husband an d I had the 8 oz filet it was extremely delicious as was the lobster mas and cheese. We would go back again
We have dined here many times before, and this was the first time we were disappointed. We really enjoyed the crackers that used to be in the bread basket, that are no longer. We were also extremely disappointed that the meals are now a la cart. We took my 84 year old parents for our annual Christmas dinner, and they never complain, but were also disappointed. One of them ordered the salmon, and asked that it be blackened,(which they have done in the past),but were told they can't do that. For an allegedly high end restaurant, that really surprises me.
My husband and I had enough points saved to cover a large part of our dinner. In the past,we would dine here with or without points. After this experience,we would not return without points.
The steaks and the Old Fashions were wonderful, the lobster and the crab cake were ok, the garlic mashed potatoes were dry and the green beans were a little too el dente...we were celebrating our 45th anniversary and the couple we were with were celebrating there 28th. I mentioned this when I made the reservation. They did nothing to commemorate this event. In addition, our children purchased us a gift card towards our meal. Our son jumped through a lot of hoops to get this done...but they had no record of it. Hopefully his credit card does not get charged.
They changed the menu, but that should not have changed the quality of the food. The bone in ribeye seemed to be something I could have made on my own grill, and bought the meat from a local store. Serving a steak on a barely warm plate is not what I have been used to.
One order was steak, salad and baked potato. It was very good, but overpriced.
One order was also steak, broccoli and loaded potato. Order was for medium well, but was prepared medium rare. She did not return the steak, but did say it was still ok.
One order was New York strip. The steak was quite and he said it was not flavorful. He would not order it, again.
I thought the food was great! The atmosphere was gorgeous! Unfortunately I also thought the smell of cigarettes in the air was nauseating. I almost lost my appetite. Also the drinks were not worth the price. I am extremely disappointed for this was our ten year anniversary. Our waiter never asked if we were celebrating anything which I thought was odd.
Bring back the old steaks, you need a bigger Filet mignon steak, 8 ozs isn't cutting it! To get nothing with your steak and have to pay for a side on top of the price is crazy! I can go to many places and have a lot bigger steak with 2 sides and a lot cheaper.
Walking in from casino you don't expect a very elegant environment almost a setting of the 1920's with high back booths. We started with fried calamari which I have to say was by far the best I've ever had! It was tender and if prepared wrong it could be "rubbery". Moving to main course I had cesar salad which was good but suggest putting dressing on side. I like garlic but this was a little too much. The broccoli cheddar soup was just good. My husband had the rib-eye and portion size was large. I had the broiled salmon over wild rice. Delicious!! You definitely will not walk away from table hungry. Keep in mind the menu is a la carte.
