Dream Cuisine Café is open Tuesday to Saturday.
Great as always, but never again.
It closed the night we were last there!
We will miss it!
This restaurant is no longer open. When it was, the food was always good but the pace of the meals slow.
our favorite hidden gem. food is superb.
Great Resturant--little hard to find though
Food excellent but service was dreadful. Only one waiter doing everything and. He hardly acknowledged us
From start to finish a great flavorful meal. Small kitchen producing really tasty dishes.
Loved it. The food was delicious and the filet was prepared the way I like it. The service was friendly.
We hit on a slightly off night the other night, one patron was a little loud and the service was just ok. The food was a little off too. All the other times I have gone, it was fantastic. Wonderful food and service, loved it.
The food here is very good, but the service can vary, depending upon the server, and the tables are way too close for my comfort level. I could overlook these things however, 2 things occurred which bothered us - 1) when we left our forks on the appetizer plates our server handed them back to us - unacceptable! This is a multi course meal with appetizer, salad, main course in a presumably upscale restaurant, yet my place setting had only 1 fork - I know of several mom and pop restaurants in the neighborhood which provide 2 forks at their place settings, so yes, you should do better. More troubling is #2) the server put 2 main courses down at the table next to us and walked away; these 2 people seemed a little confused by the courses and in another minute or 2 the server returned, removed the plates and brought them to another table?! I find this incident extremely troubling since the server turned his back on the table and walked away he had no idea whether they had tasted the meals or even placed their fork in it.
Outstanding food.
We have been to the dream cuisine before and the first time was a wonderful experience. We could not wait to go back. However, tonight we made a reservation and when we arrived the restaurant was not very busy however we waited 20 minutes before receiving menus, water or wine glasses. We poured our wine and reviewed the menu when a server showed up (another 15 minutes later) informing us that the credit card machine was down and if we didn't have cash they could not serve us. I found this in extremely poor taste. The server went to the other tables who were eating and asked them if they had cash. Very tacky. One guest had said they will leave their credit card number and that was no good enough. There was no attempt to bring in a repair man for the machine or to get an old swiper. I had asked if any of the neighboring restaurants had an old credit card swiper and was told "I don't think so" and I said did you ask and they responded no. As I was talking to the waiter another server interrupted us and told the server to check on another table. Again very tacky!!! They refused to work with us. We got up and had a wonderful meal at a neighboring restaurant. The staff at Dream Cuisine does NOT care about repeat business! We will not go back and will deter future patrons from dining at this mediocre establishment.
We have dined at Dream Cuisine Cafe a number of times but unless there are significant changes in the management of this restaurant, we will not be back. We had reservations for Saturday, May 28th at 6:45. It was our anniversary. Upon arrival we received a rather indifferent greeting and we were asked if we had a reservation. Confirming that we did we were told we could sit anywhere. There was only one waiter for a restaurant that seats 30+ people. It was busy but not "crazy busy". Both our waiter and our busboy were very polite but also very unprofessional. The service at Applebees is much more polished. We had to ask repeatedly for water, it took forever for some bread to reach our table, and our waiter never asked how our meals were.
The food at Dream Cuisine is always very good and Saturday was no exception. My wife though was disappointed in her pear salad which contained mere shavings of a pear. It was as if they had waved a pear over the salad. After finishing our salad our waiter informed us that their credit card reader was down and that we would have to pay cash. We replied that we did not have enough cash to cover the bill. He said they would figure something out.
Our experience at DCC is that there is usually a long wait between courses. Saturday was exceptionally long between courses. By the time we got to dessert we were ready to go. Coffee would have been nice with our desserts but we didn't want to wait any longer and we were never offered any coffee or tea.
Most restaurants would kill for food that is as smartly prepared as the DCC. However until they figure out the other aspects of the Dining experience (service, ambience) we will not be back.
all meals had great taste and they were cooked perfectly.
Food was just as amazing as we have come to expect from Dream! One of our favorite spots to eat.
Excellent food. Prix fixe is the way to go. Full dining experience so allow 2-3 hours.
Waiter was not very attentive and would not pour our wine out of fear of getting caught?
Dream Cuisine is the best byob in South Jersey.
It's small, quiet, and delightful. You'll love it!
Fantastic food!
we had a wonderful dinner at this byob and we will definitely go back again!
I have been before and enjoyed the restaurant. But on this Saturday night, they had BIG service problems. The food is terrific, and the staff is very friendly, but they appear to have some issues right now.
Great little restaurant. Menu is limited but selections are very good. We were able to dine leisurely which was for me a plus.
We have eaten at Dream Cuisine several times over several years. Each time we return hoping that the slow service has become a little faster. Once that actually was the case, but the last time we went, we made the mistake of going on a Saturday evening, and the wait between courses was long --an hour between ordering and getting our salads. The other two courses came a little quicker, about a half-hour each. However, the food is delicious, so we keep hoping. The shrimp Provencale was really wonderful and the cheese cake brulee dessert fantastic. to the restaurant's credit, they realized our wait was excessive and although we never complained, gave us a free dessert and two coffees.
Best restaurant in New Jersey. Anything I've tried was outstanding. A must try.
After reading a review in SJ Magazine, we decided to try Dream Cuisine. Everything we had from the service to the food was great. The portion sizes were generous. Highly recommended are the small bites: raclette cheese & prosciutto melt (satisfyingly savory), salads: almond crusted brie and pear, walnuts and gorgonzola and entrees: rack of lamb and surf & turf. Both entrees were perfectly made to our order of medium rare. There were 4 large chops, 3 large scallops and a melt-in-your mouth filet mignon with the tastiest black pepper sauce we have ever had. Every bite made aroused an "ummm" from our mouths. Highly recommended for any occasion - you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to go back!
We go about once every two or three weeks, and the food is always excellent. Vincent comes up with some specials, but the lamb and the filet are always good choices. Combined with bringing our own wine makes it an outstanding French meal at a reasonable price.
Dream Cuisine has a wonderful menu with seasonal specials and is always on the mark as far as the quality of the fare. I've never had a disappointing meal here. This past experience was a little less than perfect because of the inattentiveness of the primary server. I would hope the owner sees this review and the comments I've written in a private note below.
If you've never been here before please know that each course is paced and dinner is meant to take longer than at most restaurants in the Cherry Hill area. This is not the restaurant for you if you are trying to make a movie after dinner.
This was my third time within the last 5 months eating here and I loved every one on my visits. The food and service are excellent. I intend to go back as soon as I can.
This is DINING as opposed to eating - be prepared to spend 2+ hours
Each meal is prepared to order thus the wait - but the wait is well worth
it - each dish is seasoned perfectly and you can taste that each ingredient
is fresh.
Cannot wait to return to try a new taste experience
Excellent cuisine and service. We love it there!
The food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the salad with Bree cheese and the fillet mignon. The apple tartin for dessert was exceptional. The servers were so nice and really made the evening special.
The sea bass, foie gras and veal medallions with crab meat were all excellent. The food can not be beat.
My husband and I have been to Dream Cuisine numerous times, food is always excellent!
We continue to return to dine at Dream Cuisine, our go to place for special occasions, a wonderful meal with the family, or just an intimate night for the two of us. To start, we always select at least one order of ratatouille, a delicious way to begin our dining experience. For tonight's meal, we selected surf & turf with scallops and chicken provencale. Both meals were delectable. Thank you Chef once again for a wonderful meal!
We went for dinner on Valentine's day, and based on other reviews, we chose to book an early reservation (4:00, first reservation available that evening). We arrived early (3:45) and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and attentive. We received each course soon after we finished the one before, but in no way did we feel rushed. We took our time and lingered. The food was wonderful, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We were seated close to the group next to us, so we spoke with them and they sang the praises of the chef. Not so great if you prefer privacy while you dine as tables are very close together. A bit of an 80s or 90s throwback vibe with the decor but that's not what's important. A bit pricier than we were expecting as the menu on the website offered different options than the menu we were presented at the restaurant.
Food was very good but was as if this restaurant has only been in business for a few weeks. They really did not have it together. Service was mediocre. And as other reviews have pointed out, dinner took 2 1/2 hours. This reportedly was to create the experience of dining in France. Well, this just wasn't for me. While the food was really very good, I don't plan to return.
Went here for the first time on a Saturday evening. Although there was no wait, the seats were cramped with little space for other diners and waiters to maneuver. Service was painfully slow.
It was an eternity to be served the first course and a longer one for the 2nd course.
The bread basket was barely filled with several small pieces of cut up bread. The ratatouille was the worst I've ever had and the rack of lamb which went for $38.00 was very fatty. The potato au gratin was limp and there were maybe 10 small green beans on the plate.
The music was noise, very grating. Couldn't wait to escape.
One of the most dissatisfying dining experiences in memory.
Needless to say, we did not stay for dessert, nor will we be returning.
We were pleasantly surprised by the caliber of this little restaurant! We loved that it was BYOB and offered the four course menu option. We enjoyed the ambiance of this small but friendly place. We loved how, when we arrived, we were asked to pick the table that best suited our needs! Who does that?! The entrees were good, the filet mignon was outstanding, and the desserts were terrific. What we loved the most was that the servers allowed us to enjoy our evening. Our dinner took over two hours but was exactly what we were looking for on Valentine's Day! Highly recommend this restaurant and will be going back soon!
Never fails to please. A wonderful intimate restaurant with the highest quality food and service. Eclectic music playlist. The menu always has old favorites and new dishes to explore. A long time top of our list.
My wife and I went to Dream Cuisine to celebrate my birthday. Our server brought us to our table and offered to open up the wine which we brought. I chose from the "prix fixe" menu the almond crusted brie salad, the french onion soup, filet mignon and the creme brulee for dessert. My wife ordered the rack of lamb.
The salad was light and tasty. The brie had a creamy texture and was toasted perfectly. The light salad dressing was a perfect accompaniment for the crisp apple slices and crunchy walnuts.
The french onion soup was wonderful. It was an excellent combination of melted cheese, onion , broth and toast. Chef Vincent makes the best onion soup we have ever had.
My filet was done to perfection. The cognac black pepper sauce enhanced the flavor of this fine quality meat. The lyonnaise potatoes were mouth watering. The potatoes were perfectly layered with spices and sauce. The crisp tasty green beans were the other vegetable that complimented the entree.
For dessert, the creme brulee was a the right choice to finish the meal. The crisp top and smooth texture of the pudding was a pleasure to eat.
My wife's rack of lamb was also excellent.
Thank you chef Vincent and Dream Cuisine for helping me celebrate my birthday with your fine restaurant.
Food was excellent and cooked to order. Good for a group as the meal takes longer than usual. Staff was attentive. Go with people with whom you like to converse.
