Over potato strings, served with a side of remoulade
Salmon with bacon, lettuce, tomato, garlic-chive mayo on whole wheat toast, served with a side of cole slaw
Drake's Onion Soup
My medium burger was well done.
For my first time it was great and food was good as ever just as explained. Overall the place was good me and my girlfriend was very happy with everything service and food. 💥💯👍
Our server was wonderful, the food was delicious and I’ll be going back again.
Great food! Sat by the kitchen which was a little noisy. Drinks were a little weak. Service was great very quick and the food was excellent. Awesome burgers!
Most of the noise was my family. LOL. Great burgers, as always.
Drake Tavern is our go-to place for watching Eagles games as a family since moving into the neighborhood. The beer list is always good, the staff is wonderful with children, and the atmosphere is lively and energetic football fun, while still being family friendly.
Food was way too greasy.
We met a friend for dinner. We did a lot of talking and weren’t focused on ordering but our waitress was beyond patient with us! She gave us time and came back suggested we order our drinks and just generally was very nice. Food was exactly as described in the menu- no surprises and came out plenty hot and perfectly cooked. We never felt rushed and enjoyed a lovely evening with our friend. We’ll be back!
Food delicious, service quick.
The food was delicious and it was a perfect place to bring children. I am disappointed that I didn’t realize until after I left that I was charged $3 for my son’s drink when it was supposed to come free with his kid’s meal.
We all enjoyed our meals service was friendly and fast
Great brunch, we sat in the cozy outside (heated) area. Food was excellent, great drinks, friendly server.
We were in the area looking for a hometown place for lunch. Perfect choice.
Our waitress was very good and attentive. The food selections were varied and everything was wonderful !!!
If we are back we will for sure return.
excellent for brunch, limited brunch menu but full lunch menu available, nice neighborhood place
Delicious food, big screen TVs and excellent service. The four of us each enjoyed. We will be back.
WE ordered onion rings which were good, turkey sand. and they were good and ahi tuna salad which was very good. Cheesecake for dessert also delicious. The only thing we didn't like was that it was very dark....other than that...it was a very nice evening.
WE come there very often and always enjoy the experience. A great neighborhood asset
Another great meal. Best Burgers and Milkshakes around! Great deals and service
I had the salad with grilled salmon and raspberry vinaigrette. It was absolutely delicious! The salad with shrimp and mango dressing is equally good! The value is great. If you’re in the mood for a casual neighborhood bar/ restaurant, I highly recommend it. PS.... Brownie sundae is fabulous!
Bar type good and atmosphere
The Wednesday lobster special was so delicious. 2lbs of fresh lobster for $25 w 2 sides where could you get this deal! Perfectly cooked not salty, tail split so it could be easily removed and both claws with small cut to get all the tender meat out. Hope they keep this special going as long as they can get a fresh catch. Service was excellent she patiently checked on us while we waited for the last member of our party to show up, got our drink order right away and food came promptly. Definitely a keeper!
Perfect for our Pre-concert dinner. Thanks !
Really good place for a burger and beer. Menu was more extensive than I was led to believe from other reviews. Nice selection of beers. Burger was cooked right. Ambiance is just OK and parking can be a little confusing but overall a good experience.
Nice outdoor patio. Good food. Great service. Neighborhood gem. We eat there often.
Great food and staff members are very engaging and friendly. Our server, Casey, was stellar. He was pleasant, knew the menu well, and took very excellent care of us.
It was incredibly loud. Server was great and food was good.
We had a reservation. It was Mother's Day. But still, one should not expect to be told upon arrival that there were be a 20 minute wait because they were running behind. The hostess station, table preparation seemed very uninterested and disorganized. Our table was open for 15 minutes before we were seated. After seating, the service was fine and the food was good.
Very good burgers
Our server was really great, super personable, and very attentive. The food was delicious. This was our second time coming here and we’ll definitely be back soon.
Prices are up and some quality eroded-. As an example, no longer the crisp potato sticks on the Captain Morgan but ordinary chips which get soggy. Still tasty but not excellent as it was!
We ate outside, but noise was pretty good despite our table being close to route 611. Food choices were varied and delicious. You can have a full dinner, or enjoy lighter fare like salads or burgers or sandwiches. $2.50 draft beer on Wed. Night was a nice feature also.
The one thing I was looking forward to where their cheese fries and apparently they now use cheese whiz and not white American.
Their burgers are fantastic and the have a vey good selection of beers. However, that’s it. They have some additional menu items and appetizers and cheesecake for dessert but it is truly a burger and brew joint. They do what they do well but if you are looking for an extensive menu that is more restaurant than tavern, you should look elsewhere. If a burger and a brew is what you’re looking for, this is the place.
I enjoyed my time at Drakes m. Looking forward to going again. Everything was delicious. The appetizers could have been slightly more in quantity or sliced to bite sized. But they where very tasteful.
I’ve been going there for years but I don’t know what happened last week. The burger was raw and we had to hunt down our server to get our fries.
The Salmon BLT was delicious!! Service was great and super fast!
Food, Price, and Service were excellent. You won't go wrong going to Drake's Tavern for lunch or dinner.
The Drake has been known for the burgers, unfortunately that has gone down. Previously the burgers had a wonderful charbroiled taste that emphasized the different varieties of burgers but now that flavor is gone. Basically the flavor is masked with a lot of sauce and the buns are just plain rolls from a bag even the Drake stamp is pale on the roll the same as the food now. While it wasn’t bad it was flavorless. Unfortunate because we really liked the Drake previously, it was one of the few places close to NE Philadelphia that we could always count on. Also the homemade dirty chips are no longer on the menu as well as the tuna. We won’t be coming back this was our second try to see if it was just an off night but it wasn’t.
I had reservations and didn’t get to sit where I wanted because the greeter assumed I didn’t want to hear the band. Also, there were no seats in my preferred area. I though having reservations would award me that 🤷🏾♀️other than that, the waitress was nice and the food was good.
Service was quick, staff friendly. Food was good. Two beers were tapped out. Grateful I made reservations.
