Drake One Fifty
We sat outside on their wonderful patio. Our waiter was not the brightest but despite her disappearing and not knowing much about wines we really enjoyed our lunch. The food was outstanding. We have beef tartare, ceviche and meetballs. Everything was excellent. Very recommend.
It was a birthday. Service was great and we had a good spot in the dining area. The charcuterie was superb, drinks well mixed and the main meal, steak frites, was good albeit a bit pricey. All in all a an eventful night and we made it to the theatre in time after we had our pictures taken in the photo booth! The bar/restaurant didn’t disappoint!
We sat at a table along a banquette. It was a little too low for the table. Also, we were to be three so they set a table for two in the corner of the banquette. I was the person sitting on the side. Luckily the third person cancelled because we would not have been able to fit three plates on the table and my legs were stuck in the legs of the table.
The other thing about the menu is that it seems to be a dinner menu at lunchtime. I prefer to have smaller lighter offerings. That said the food was delicious and the server was friendly and very helpful.
The food was absolutely amazing! I also loved the atmosphere of the place. The server could have came up to us to ask us if we were doing good a few more times. But whenever he did he was great, nice and patient. He also was great at recommending food options. Definitely would go back or recommend to a friend!
restaurant could be a touch more lit up. had to use flashlight on I-phone to read menu. Otherwise food was excellent as well as service. will be back
Great culinary experience. Eclectic vibe. Enjoyed the atmosohere! Would go again without a doubt.
Took my mom there for Mother’s Day and we loved it, food was fantastic, ambience was great and the service was wonderful, will for sure be back
Average food (wild boar bolognese). Missed a salad..they said went to another table mistakenly.
Cocktails..old fashioned (good but nothing outstanding) and Roar Bone which was actually good.
Ambiance is good.
Very disappointed, we did not feel valued as customers. It took almost an hour to get appetizers and when my main finally came out, the lamb was raw. I don't mind rare, but this was raw. Had to send it back (which I never do). Minor consideration was given when the bill arrived; for an experience this poor, I would expect a manager to get involved. The bill was still $200+ after a minor discount. Never again. Oh, and the charcuterie board (plate) was a joke. Meat only on a kitchen plate with a little bit of mustard. No cheeses, no pickled vegetables of any kind, just meat.
I ordered the seafood meal. The pasta was u undercooked stodgy and hard to chew. There are too many restaurants in this area at this price range to recommend Drakes
Relaxing dinner with a visiting friend, good food and friendly polite service. Not rushed and not too slow.
Great room and service, easy to get reservation. Do not expect fast casual prices more of a special occasion spot $$$!
We ate at drake 150 at 4:15 p.m. and had the afternoon menu. It worked well because we had to catch a train at 6:15 p.m. and therefore we were able to have small plates that we could share. A nice afternoon repast.
A very strange dining experience with the server who is doing some sort of French serving... where he couldn’t talk until we talked to him and kept filling our waters. It would have been nice to know that he was doing that when we sat down instead of being very confused when he kept pouring us a splash of water. It also wasted a lot of time at the beginning of our meal since we had no clue what was going on. It was just very strange. I would rather have just regular service..
We had a simply wonderful Sunday Brunch here. There was a jazz band playing, not too loudly, and the food was innovative and beautifully presented. The quiche was the best I’ve ever had - creamy and fluffy. We also happened upon a special where all the bottles of wine were half price. We had a lovely sparkling rosé served in saucers. The servers were all prompt, informative, unobtrusive - perfect. We will be back here for future visits for theatre, TIFF, the opera, ballet. Love this restaurant!
Always the best spot for a lunch date! The best food, not too noisey and great service.
Very expensive. Very salty. Good service. Low sets
The ambience was nice for a night out with friends, loved the DJ and the photo booth. The crab croquettes were divine, I just wished there were more options on the menu for entrees.
The Drake 150 is amazing. Great food - we had the meatballs, wedge salad charcuterie and carrots.
The meatballs were the best part.
Neil was our server and he was fantastic - attentive and extremely personable!
We had a great time and will most certainly be back.
Not for a quiet date. I went for a first date and it was really hard to hear each other.
The music was a bit loud, i felt as though I had to yell to my partner sitting across from me. Besides that, everything else was great!
Service was horrible and it was very expensive for the quality of food and experience. I go out a lot for business functions and will never return here. I’m in a wedding that is hosted here so I am hoping they are better at events than for business dinners
For a first time, I was impressed. The waiter was very polite and helpful and attentive. The food was delicious especially the apple pie with the caramel miso ice cream. So good!
Very disappointing. Our food arrived cold....”brutal attitude from waitress....”can’t be cold, I saw them plate it”....she lied...fries cold and soggy, steak lukewarm and risotto cold.
Manager was good and saved it...”a drink and app was free”. Waitress had brutal attitude and continued to be snotty and unfriendly.
Delicious food, amazing service and the music was the perfect tone and volume for a midday meal. Loved it!
A special venue
Breanna our server was amazing!
Food and drinks were great but our server was pretty miserable.
Our waitress was not friendly or personable.
Our experience was unpleasant, very poor customer service skills.
Interesting menu, but could use some more sophisticated main course salad choices for lunch. Currently, a few ordinary salads are offered with the option of adding a protein (e.g. chicken, salmon) on top.
45 minutes to get our food...not that busy, had to ask hostess multiple times to track down our order. Ended up being very rushed to get to theatre. They did comp our beverages (1 beer and a coke) and have us 15% off food. Food was very good. Server was apologetic and nice.
good atmosphere and dining experience. I wish they had more meal options as well as the place being a bit pricey. overall good night
Really enjoyed our dinner at Drake One Fifty. Food was delicious and service excellent. Very vibrant atoms sphere on Saturday night!
Had a delightful brunch with a girlfriend and our pre-teen and teenaged children. Everything we ordered was delicious. The Drake Breakfast was great, the Shakshuka was excellent and the hash browns are a must have. Service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. We had a lovely time. Highly recommend.
Loved the experience. Went with my girlfriends for brunch and had a lot of fun. Service was really good and they were patient with all of us.
Great atmosphere and Drake signature food chief.
