Drake One Fifty
Service was a little hit and miss - I don't like not being greeted within the first five minutes of sitting down. But after that it was fine and the food was excellent.
Good buzzy atmosphere and great friendly service. My steak was under seasoned and tastes of oil, however the pizza was the best I have had In many years. Would give it another try.
As always, the Drake 150 is perfect for the after-work networking opportunity. Great way to show someone the vibrancy of the city, take them to a cool place, and enjoy the whole experience! Staff, service and menu options are great, and I definitely appreciated the happy hour menu!
Great spot for a business dinner or date. Great cocktails and a solid menu. A nice unique vibe hidden amongst all the usual chains of the downtown core.
The food was horrible, I do not recommend this place. The ambiance was ok nothing great but the food was really bad. Don’t order the calamari appetizer they put cinnamon in it and the pasta sea food dish was terrible. The steak was raw and cold! It was just a terrible experience. Never going back to this restaurant again.!
Fun, exciting spot to grab food and drinks with a group of friends or an intimate night out. Great ambiance, great food, and drinks! Make sure to stop into the photobooth :)
Great service and meal! My work colleague really enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely go back.
Food was mediocre at best. We were seated near the kitchen where we watched line cooks, because that's all they are, eating while preparing food. When paying for our bill, the waiter hovered over us. I had to actually ask him to give my husband some space in order to put in his personal banking information. We won't be back.
Patio was nice but high tops only. Live band inside.
Sat at the bar and received great service, food and chat from the two lovely bartenders!
Food was terrible and overpriced for quality. Wine was good but paying $22 per glass was over the top!!!
Lovely choice, great ambience, food and service.
Awesome service, great food
The food was very average for an upscale restaurant. For the price that my friends and I paid for, we could’ve gotten way better food. A bit disappointing, but I’ll give them credit for good atmosphere and servers being attentive.
Great food and service. Happy hour drinks are a bonus!!
Everything was fine
It was a very lovely experience for an intimate birthday celebration. The food was exceptional, so was the ambiance and the service. Definitely will return!
Professional but friendly service; excellent food and overall enjoyable. Hard to find these days....
This is our favourite place to go for drinks and dine. Great DJ and best steak tartare. Never disappointed
I've been to the Drake Hotel before and really enjoyed all the food, service, and ambiance. I was excited to try this location but unfortunately wasn't as impressed. Initially sat inside, which was only maybe 30% full, and already the noise from the other guests was too unbearable. We moved outside and the noise level was a bit better, but the tables were fairly close together, so it got pretty loud. We made it before Happy Hour and ordered two drinks each, which were good deals. We ordered the charcuterie board and were asked if we wanted to "add" cheese, and no price was told. Little did we know, we were ordering the cheese board at full price, but added to the charcuterie board. We initially planned on spending $22 and ended up spending another $18 for the added cheese. For that price, the board was very disappointing. The portion was fairly generous for a downtown Toronto charcuterie board, but everything was lacking flavour and the addition of rhubarb compote, strawberries, and candied hazelnuts did not go with the selection of meats and cheeses at all. The bill came to a hefty $90 with tax and tip, and we went home hungry. I'd recommend just coming for happy hour and going somewhere else for a meal.
The foodvwas ok but asked for seafood pasta without mussels and scallops and just the shrimp.i received 2 pieces of shrimp instead of extra shrimp. also they charged 75cents for parmesan for my pasta. i have never heard of psying for parmesan for a pasta dish.
Waiter was rude, seemed like he didn’t want us there. When asking about the specials he said that they were sold out. Out of interest one of our group asked what they were anyway and he just repeated that they’re sold out!
The other servers we encountered were quite pleasant seemed like this guy was having a bad day.
Anyway the overall experience was poor given that many menu items were sold out. We had a reservation so I can understand when one or two items are sold out but there were about 4 sold out items on the menu, which largely did restrict the choices that we had.
We had heard that Drake One Fifty was worth stopping at, but it was just so-so. Special lamb chops were not prepared well - fat left on, and was rare. Couldn't provide tomatoes or onion for their burger (a regular menu item). Server seemed inexperienced. Strawberry shortcake dessert seemed to have day-old (very dry) cake; however, the white chocolate cremeux was lovely. Didn't get much art - touted often in advertising. Lots of people around 10P or so - perhaps we should have just planned for aps and drinks rather than dinner? Bartender who took care of us was outstanding. So many great places to go in Toronto, but this place was a disappointment.
Lamb was very fatty. Manager took it off the bill which was the right thing to do. Apps were best part of meal. Great cocktails
A bit noisy for business but I love the vibe.
Drink/wine service was slow and not that attentive.
Pizza was cold.
Service was somewhat uneven. Hovering at times alternating with lack of attentiveness. Meals were well presented.
Food drink and service was perfect..just next time will get table away from kitchen..but no complaints
Food is not quality enough.
I think u guys r damaging drake's name by providing the low classfood.
The restaurant isn't worth the money. Its located in a good location but the food wasn't good at all.
I believe the food is a bit behind the times. The menu hasn't changed in so long and it very much falls in line with the menu from any mass chain restaurant. Portions were small and I am a small person.
The food was a tad bit disappointed in terms of expectations and variety. If the menu was more of a mix of traditional food and diverse tastes, it’d be much more.
Great meal, good atmosphere, loved the DJ on Saturday night!
Great food, staff was friendly and the overall restaurant was beautiful. Would definitely eat here again!
Staff could be more welcoming. Service is a bit slow. Food comes out fast after ordering. Too pricey, especially drinks.
We sat outside which was great. Service is usually a little more attentive but it was still very good. Food was quite good as usual.
Had a lovely evening as always!
I had the Drake Burger which seemed to be quite salty for some reason. For the price of about $23 my expectations of the burger were much higher than what I got! I would give the burger about a 4.5/10 which I would suggest not to get unless it improves... alot more!!
Service was very attentive.
Good food and good service. The building was having some air conditioning issues so the restaurant was a bit warm. However, to be fair, it was outside the control of the restaurant.
