Drake One Fifty
Not very happy with the charcuterie board. What was delivered was a plate with cold cuts thrown in it and some crackers on top. They fixed it for us but it was surprising something like that would leave the kitchen.
Margarita pizza was very soggy, bartender was excellent, not enough reasonably priced wine bottles, $184 for French fries, Brussels sprouts, burger, pizza, beer, martini and bottle of wine, not my idea of value for your money.
It's a great location with good food, but it was quite loud, so I had trouble with hearing my lunch companions. This was a bit problematic as we were there for a lunch meeting. I won't book again for a meeting but I certainly will for a social lunch or dinner, or a post-meeting dinner.
Great food, lovely ambiance and great service. What’s not to love.
Food took quite a while but everything was outstanding overall otherwise.
Friendly service and very accommodating since we needed to rush back to the office for an afternoon meeting.
Service staff were less than thrilled to be working that night.
Amazing 4 course New Years Dinner! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere, nice live music, wonderful service
We were going to see The Nutcracker Ballet and chose to go to Drake 150 for Brunch beforehand.
We were warmly greeted at reception and kindly seated at our table by a lovely hostess.
Our server was very friendly and attentive and our food was very good.
Our only drawback was that the venue was so loud we couldn’t carry on a conversation.
Misses the mark on every category. Probably needs new management. DJ stuck in the corner and not able to easily interact. The waitress had a very limited understanding of the menu and mixology. The food was bland and felt like it was held back from being great. Way too expensive for the experience. Can get much more for less at several locations within a few block radius.
Service was excellent - great choice of food - we had the brunch menu and flavours were great
Friendly server but our food was only okay. The “avocado” on the drake Benedict was basically guacamole that was too salty and lemony. The bacon on the regular Drake Benedict was mostly fatty pastrami-like meat. Salad didn’t look too appetizing... Beignets were delicious though.
Reserved a table for dinner. Had a drink and appetizer. Left and went elsewhere for dinner. Lame
I’d recommend for the experience, service was great and presentation was good. Food was “ok”, streak frites and fries definitely not work $40 a plate that we paid for two of.
Love the ambience and quality of food.
Small items to note; when busy, it is a bit hard to talk/hear each other. Also, please introduce more vegetarian options.
Having said that, it is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto!
Happy Hour prices are good but could do with a few more choices. A great burger but the salad was a joke. Only lettuce! I don't call that a side salad. Hawaiian pizza was ok but we have had better. Still an interesting place to try once.
Little disappointed. Service was subpar. Food wasn’t coursed out properly (i.e. brought out main course followed by pizza then salad?), servers were no where to be found, Empty dishes left on our table and water glasses never refilled. We weren’t offered coffee or dessert menu. Have been before and was disappointed this time around. Will not return again.
Great place. I very much enjoyed the bar, the drinks were fantastic and the service was amazing.
Unfortunately not the best experience- - service was great / but the food was quite bland - and my daughter was a vegetarian and they really weren’t helpful or knew what was available
Also I had written that it was a birthday but they appears to not of
Read my notes in open table and there was no opportunity to quietly tell the staff - very disappointed
I would describe Drake One Fifty as a trendy restaurant that is a little more up scale. Perfect for date night and drinks!
Been going here for quite a few years, it’s always been excellent but this time the food was actually not good (had the Drake burger), cocktails took aaaaages to arrives and I couldn’t enjoy then before the food arrived. Quite disappointed since this place always had top standards and I feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth for the poor experience
Sunday Brunch with live jazz- excellent food and ambiance! A must do when I’m in Toronto
Great service and the Brussels sprouts were to die for! We enjoyed sitting at the bar for a drink and then moving to our table for dinner! Great atmosphere
Selected Drake 150 for pre-theatre drinks and apps and partially to take advantage of the happy hour menu advertised on their website.
While the food and cocktails were excellent, we had some issues with the service. After arriving and deciding to order from the happy hour menu (that was definitely not mentioned to us when we sat down)our server came back to tell us that as of yesterday they didn’t offer happy hour in the dining room anymore and that they “just changed it”. She would honour or first round of drinks to be nice, but we couldn’t order from it again. We didn’t fully believe this was the truth but didn’t want to push the issue or make a scene, but we both got the distinct impression that we were trying to be upsold at every interaction with her to max out the value of our table. After finishing 3 heavy apps it was “ok are you ready for dinner now?” And then another push to order dessert after declining on dinner.
While friendly, we weren’t really made to feel comfortable or really valued as customers who still spent well over $100 on apps and cocktails in an hour when the restaurant was mostly empty before the dinner rush began.
We could have gone anywhere before the show and we chose the Drake 150. It’s unlikely we’ll come back after this experience despite the great food quality and yummy cocktails. There are just too many other options out there.
Main server was not the happiest but others made up for it.
Food was really good. Music too loud for over 50 set
Great atmosphere. The food and service were excellent.
terrible service, way too noisy for brunch time - no need for live music at this time of day
The food was fine- but we were sitting so close to the neighbouring tables it made getting in and out a challenge. Add the noise level (difficult to hear), and dim lighting, (I needed my flashlight to read the menu), I will not return.
There is a nice selection of food, which is well presented and generally good.
The location and ambience are great and the staff solicitous without being intrusive.
The wine list is over-priced and could do with a refresh.
The best brunch I have ever had
Neil was our waiter. Great service and personality
Amazing!!! The only thing better than the unbelievable food was the service. Can’t wait to go back!
Great atmosphere, although a bit noisy, great service, with friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Will return!
The service could not have been better. It was professional, friendly and everyone was very accommodating. Food and drinks were great. I was very satisfied and impressed by the high level of service.
Majority of the items on the menu was sold out, very frustrating. Service was slow.
The vibe was great but I was underwhelmed by the food. The black cod was quite good but a bit underwhelming on flavour. The calamari was mediocre. Drinks were great. Service was great.
Didn't have chicken salad, a very common item, available on the menu. Especially when they have only approx 6 lunch items on menu, this was disappointing
Delicious food. Excellent service. A must try! We’ll be back for more.
