Our server was so incredibly lovely and gracious during what I’m sure must be a very stressful time for all staff. We really appreciated her great service and wish everyone at The Drake well.

Service needs to be faster.

We were at the skyard for a Valentines Dinner. Food was excellent but we waited for more than an hour for the main course. The waiter felt bad and we got 2 glasses of sparkling wine and a 50% rebate on the food.

Food was really great, I felt a little pressured by the waiter because she kept asking how we were doing. The photo booth wasn't working that night :(

First, our table was so cold, we had to ask that the heat be turned up. Secondly, the kitchen was so slow that we were served 2 hours after being seated. The burgers were good. The rest of the food was poor to o.k. Our server did his best and we felt that it was management, not the server as far as getting out food. The entire kitchen was backed up. We were sent desserts as compensation which was nice. Perhaps, the Drake is known for night life, but I would not count on a great dinner, which our reason for going.

Quality food and nice ambience. However, service was sub-standard. Servers became nonchalant and inattentive after we asked to enjoy our drinks for awhile before ordering food courses. Took considerable time to order drinks and food courses afterwards. Got the feeling they were initially trying to turn the table over promptly, as it was Valentine's Day. Service at other Drake venues much better.

We booked a table for Valentines Day. When we came, they put us on a table that was next to the window and it was freezing there. When we asked to change it, they moved us to the Cafe. We order fixed menu, but portions were really small. My boyfriend was really hungry when we went out. Food was ok. Waitress was nice. I had higher expectations for this place.

Waited over an hour for our tables food during brunch. One meal was an additional 20 minutes late, and then wrong when it came out.

Was there for brunch for a friends birthday.
Food was good, service was slow and there was no table maintenance. Empty dirty dishes were left on the table when our meals came out, not leaving a lot of space on the table. Once we were done our brunch, the server didn't check on us for a while, we wanted to order more and it took forever to get her attention to come over to our table.
Other than that, the atmosphere was great, we all really enjoyed ourselves.

We were seated beside a very large noisy party. We are seniors. This ruined our evening. Steak was made to perfection, Brussels Sprouts were too sweet, and French fries were pale and tasteless. We sat in the back. If we go, we will ask for table in the front.

The atmosphere, service quality, food presentation were highly satisfying, however the octopus dish and burger patties were slightly overcooked but overall it was an amazing experience.

Great service. Appreciated being able to linger on a snowy day. Nice menu options. Undrinkable coffee - an Americano with dishwater over tunes. Steel cut oats tasty but could have been oh so much more if not cold and sticky.

First time going for my fiancé’s birthday. Loved the atmosphere and music. I had the sushi and it was so delicious and very fresh. Friendly staff and punctual service. Thank you!

Overall, mediocre experience. Food was well below my expectation, venue is visually pleasing but was loud due to high volume of obnoxious people.

Was expecting Trivia night, but that didn’t happen so I was a bit disappointed; overall it was a great ambience and experience. It was my first time in Toronto, so I wanted to the complete experience of the night.

Great brunch food. Broad selection and well prepared. Lovely waiter. Not rushed at all so a lovely experience.

The Drake is a cool place both spiritually and physically (at least it was today) as our circular back corner table was had a great view of the restaurant but also was caught in a cold downdraft. Service by a steady cascade of staff straddles the middle except for one notably more friendly individuals no cleared the last of our plates.

The food, importantly, made us all happy.

Brunch at the Drake is a treat. Lots of delicious breakfast favourites. The cinnamon buns are baked fresh in a cast-iron pan and are not to be missed. Busy place full of young people enjoying conversing with their friends, but room for a couple of senior citizens too!

Fun New Year’s Eve party

My date and I had a lovely new year's Eve dinner here with live jazz music and an extensive and splendid prix fixe menu. It was a gastronomic and memorable experience. Highlights include mouth-watering Wagyu beef tartare and a generous portion of fresh lobster pasta, cooked just right. The Drake has always gone above and beyond with my expectations with their impeccable service and high quality, will thought-out meals consistently over the years. Well done.

Great breakfast.

I absolutely loved the vibe / the food / the server.....all was GREAT....thank you for making our Christmas Day special and non traditional.....loved it.

My nephew and I enjoyed a lovely brunch on Christmas Day. The pancakes were excellent. I love the room. The place has an elegant, relaxed vibe and the staff were friendly. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed the room wasn't filled. I love being in a restaurant that buzzes, even if it is a relaxing experience. Our waitress let us know it was much busier the year before, so that was interesting. Also, she seemed a bit TOO busy despite the quiet turnout for brunch. Then again, it was Christmas Day. She was attentive - an excellent waitress - just a bit 'not in the moment' for obvious reasons. Overall, I'd go back in a flash!

This restaurant has good atmosphere, but the food's price is fairly high compare to what it is. The Christmas signature dinner is fairly well designed, however it is still not worth the price tag. This is a good venue for a night out as business associates.

Good times as usual

The food was delicious, as always, and service wonderful. The trivia game, for which we came, was great fun, well organized, the hosts humurous and entertaining. I look forward to another Wednesday night with an interesting meal and a good game to with that.

We are vegan and were blown away by how delicious the veggie burger was! And don’t get me started on the fries. I am literally craving both right now. It is so great to have good vegan options available. We will def be back!

We were guests at the hotel and they had glasses of champagne at our tables to welcome us!

Really loved the ambiance of the room. The music was relevant and just the right volume. Loved the pitcher of mimosas and blueberry scones. But best of all was the glasses of champagne when we arrived which I assume was based on me specifying that our visit was for a birthday celebration -- a very nice touch for my son's special day.
