The Avocado Toast is a fan favourite of mine and my daughters. We keep coming back for more.
Fantastic as always. Guinness Pie and Black Cod entrees. Worth the drive. Beautiful views and great service.
Great location and excellent décor. Food was disappointing, no vegan options.
We enjoyed the entire experience at the Drake. From the personable service, to the outstanding view of the lake, it was well worth the drive from Belleville. We had a toddler and a baby with us and the staff were very accommodating. More importantly, the food was exceptional. The deep fried chicken was a surprising hit. The fresh eclectic bread choices were also delightful. Of all of the restaurants we have eaten in since our move to Belleville two years ago, this one is now our new favourite. It is well worth the drive.
It was a lovely meal overlooking Lake Ontario.
The food and service were great in a fantastic spot
The Drake Devonshire Caesar is my new favourite
Unfortunately it is a bit pricey, especially by County standards
Great atmosphere and service but food was average considering the price. Would recommend checking it out for a drink but I don’t think I’ll be going back.
Very nice atmosphere, except the lighting was pretty dim. The staff were super friendly and took time to chat with you and ask you questions or make suggestions. Food was amazing!
From walking in the door, to leaving at the end, Drake Devonshire was on the ball ensuring every guest enjoyed themselves. Will be back for a third time soon.
Had a lovely time! Wholeheartedly reccommend! Can’t wait to go back.
The view and ambience are just wonderful, as is the great food, creative cocktails and the quality of the ingredients. Service was excellent, great wait staff & well taken care of - my only less than five stars would be receiving no bread at the table while awaiting the meal & the vegetarian option was small for the price with no side or even a garnish which left a sense of meagre-ness despite being delicious and thoughtfully prepared.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary over dinner at the Drake Devonshire. Fantastic ambiance and a delicious meal. Everyone working there made sure our evening was special. We ended up going back the next morning for brunch and had an equally wonderful experience, both service and food. We will be back for sure and will likely stay on the property overnight.
I love everything about the Drake Devonshire. They offer incredible service, worth the drive from Ottawa & Toronto, wine, beer, food, atmosphere - it's all perfect.
Great for brunch (with variety of plates and morning cocktails)!
Wonderful, as usual. Completely blown away by both food and drink! Thanks folks!
New menu is outstanding, especially the appetizers. Duck confit salad was best we've ever had.
Drake Devonshire does not disappoint! Me and my husband stayed at Drake Devonshire for valentines day and it was magical! Not only was the food, wine and service amazing. Staying at the resort was so fun. There are a number of game rooms and you can take you drinks throughout the resort. Meaning after dinner drinks were spent playing shuffleboard in the pavilion! would definitely recommend.
Great view of the lake while dining. Good selection of wines. We had a wonderful valentine's day lunch. Service was efficient, friendly and attentive.
Amazing spot to go for brunch while you are in the county the food, decor and service were all perfect. We loved the brunch menu and had great coffee and bagels with lox the service was great and the view is gorgeous even in the winter as it looks out on the water. The winter season is less busy of course but I would still recommend making a reservation in advance. We will absolutely be back!
Food is good. Drinks are to be skipped. Overall overpriced but it’s a really nice place
My daughter and I drive to the restaurant from Toronto. She had been there before but I had not. It was a lovely place and the food was good. The blueberry scones were fantastic.
The service was excellent.
Thank you for doing a great job on. Winter Sunday afternoon.
Loved every minute of our breakfast. Incredible view! The decor was cozy and absolutely perfect given the Inn's location. Our server was unbelievably welcoming and engaging. The food, OMG, delicious and beautifully presented. Details here are never overlooked. Mismatched tea cup and saucer, fabulous sugar holders, simple vase with three simple flowers on every table. Spotlessly clean. My only disappointment was that from the road the Inn is very unassuming. We were puzzled if we were at the right spot. Best birthday breakfast I have ever had.
All 4 of us loved our breakfast! Our server answered all of questions, made recommendations, offered side dishes we loved, and arranged for a tour of the property after our meal! The dining room has spectacular views of the lake. We had trouble picking “the best” table since so many of them had great lake views.
Great service, tasty food, amazing atmosphere and beautiful view!!! Thanks to all the friendly staff for a great experience!!
Definitely a buzzing atmosphere. If you are looking for romance, however, try going during off dining hours, when it's quieter! If you're looking for creative, heart healthy meals, there's not much on the menu, but if you're in the mood to let loose and just enjoy the tasty dishes, then this is the place. Beautiful lakeside views, great food, friendly, upbeat service.
Booked a reservation for group of 7 friends and had a blast! The food is delicious and reasonable prices too. The waitress was super nice and chatty as well!
Went here for my birthday with 4 other people and made a reservation a month in advance. Service was great - our server was incredibly accommodating. Beautiful, fun space and tasty food. They let you walk around and play games while you wait for dinner. I would highly recommend!
The Inn's restaurant is out of the ordinary spot for dining and drinks. The decor is beautiful, authentic and modern. The view by the water is amazing. The service is relaxed and friendly. The food is great, with interesting twists and high quality ingredients. We stopped at the restaurant on our way from Toronto to Montreal and it was well worth the detour.
Your kitchen is out of touch with the staff and clients, and its food.
- eggs benny single took 30 mins to arrive
- poached egg overdone and firm
- bacon stringy; barely warm
- toasted slice soggy.
- hollandaise sauce invisible
-hash browns underdone andjust warm
Coffee not hot and unattended
" Sugar pie' also took 20 mins to arrive; best described as quite tasteless ; not even sweet and unlike any Ive ever had before.
One prev occ the on se level was so high my wife and I could b= not carry on a c onversation.
Great potential but the kitchen needs supervision.
The food was great and the service very friendly, and the view of Lake Ontario is unbeatable.
Awesome!!! I always have a wonderful time hard off to the staff for all their hard work.
We booked for pre-Christmas Family together dinner. It was not busy, the waiters were excellent, the food was good & the ambiance was kid-friendly. Beer was good, as was the wine. The wine was over-priced! Overall an expensive dinner but a pleasant experience.
We went to the Drake Devonshire because they offered an exciting painting night event and planned our whole mini-trip around it. We had an incredibly delicious dinner, had a chance to play in the games room, but them we were disappointed that the artist who was supposed to run the art night just didn't show (apparently we were the only 2 people who registered). Despite this, staff were incredibly gracious and responsive and covered our drinks for the night, tried repeatedly to call the artist and generally made our night a good one despite our disappointment that the art-night didn't happen. We were very pleased with the excellent care that they showed in response to this unfortunate situation!
We enjoyed brunch (table for 4), recently at the Drake. The staff and attention we received was exceptional. The coffee was excellent. It has a wonderful waterfront location and the meal was sourced locally and delicious. A very enjoyable stop on our wine tour in PEC.
I have been to the Drake Devonshire several times over the years and he experience had always been pleasant but feels increasingly disconnected with PEC and out of date.
I think it’s time the owners reimagined what they are doing. They feel more like an out of synch imposition of Toronto into the county than a celebration of what the region has to offer. Food was good but neither great nor reflective of PEC. Try a little harder to connect to the place and to the diners.
Great venue and food!
The view of the lake from our table was excellent but with a table above us we felt uncomfortable.
We went for lunch but you only offered breakfast. We ordered eggs Benedict, the menu said ham but we got bacon. It repeated on my wife for the rest of the day.
The music was brash and loud making it unpleasant and difficult to hold a leisurely and comfortable conversation.
The food was amazing, the service was great. Venue itself is beautiful - right on the water. We went in November, so it was nice and quiet - had a very romantic vibe. Was perfect for our anniversary. I would definitely go again and recommend to a friend
This was our first time at the Drake Devonshire and everyone in our party was very impressed. The food was outstanding, most notably from the items we ordered, the corn breaded beets and the rabbit carbonara were exceptional.
The service was fantastic; our server was very attentive, accommodating, and knowledgeable. A very full, relaxing, and satisfying dining experience.
Prices were a little high, but nowhere out of the realm of expectation for a fine dining experience.
Unbelievable experience. Outstanding service. We enjoyed the Countlylicious menu that was available that evening. They were so accommodating to my party's dietary restrictions - I've never experienced anything like it. Wonderful wine suggestions. Enjoyed a little warm up by the outdoor bonfire after our dinner. With the sound of the waves crashing against the shore - to was a lovely end to our evening at the Drake Devonshire.
