2nd visit incredible food and ambiance will return again when flying in from Illinois.
Recommended it for a lot of my guests as a concierge and decided to try it for myself!!! Definitely will be going back!! The bomb roll was really good!! Mark is a great server! Super attentive!!!
Always a great place. Can’t go wrong with this one.
I like the tapas style
Incredible food and cocktails! My husband is in the food industry and spoiled. He was blown away! Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates quality food.
Always excellent quality, very knowledgeable servers. Even though we've been there many times, there's always something new to try, especially with the seasonal offerings.
Sushi was good... not exceptional, but good. Protein in the sushi was very small. High prices for robata and very small portions. (Five dollars for 6 one-inch roasted corn cob). Waiter advised robata octopus was tender but ended up being a horrible, chewy mess. Ramen was very good.
We've had much better sushi for much more reasonable prices. Wouldn't return or recommmed sadly.
Great Sushi- Our waiter was so knowledgable about all the items on the menu- so helpful when trying to decide on unique dishes to try. Love the small grilled items! Will go back again just for those!
We dined at Dragonfly for their special Easter brunch. The food was so fresh and delicious! There was a large selection of choices- everything from poke bowls, hand rolls, sushi, bao buns, ramen, sliders, etc. We had a great brunch and hope this will become a more frequent offering!
Overall an excellent restaurant! The food was amazing and the pork ramen to die for. Nice atmosphere, my only complaint (and very minor) is its a little loud, must be the acoustics of the room, as it's not a roudy restaurant. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
Everything was great from our greeting at the door to our waiter. The food was amazing as per usual. We stop here every time we visit Orlando!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. We crave it at least once a month. The food and service are always excellent!
Awesome the crab fried rice is my favorite
This restaurant has been a favorite of mine for over 10 years when I was a student in Gainesville. Always excellent quality and wonderful flavors.
What a lovely place. Hidden behind a huge Greek inspired fountain, you can dine at a chic table inside, the sushi bar, or outside on thier patio overlooking more fountains and palm trees. The food is AMAZING. You can do several small dishes if you'd like (the wait staff is very attentive) or just do a meal straight up. We have only come here twice (we live in MN and visit FL in the spring) and it is always worth the price. It seems expensive, but given the quality it's worth it. The steaks are some of the best I've ever had. The sushi is great. Even the simple appetizers like bacon wrapped asparagus and the brussel sprouts taste better than they ought to.
Not too noisy, not too dark. The menu slightly changes from time to time. The chef's choices are worth taking the risk for.
Can't wait for my next trip to Orlando
Very friendly staff
Outstanding food and service, the sushi was fresh and the chef choice rolls were amazing. Will defiantly be back and recommend anyone looking for great sushi to try Dragonfly!
We attended for a Bachelorette party and our server was so on point. None of us had ever been and he was super helpful with choosing items for the table, as well as recommending drinks based on our occasion. The food was all delicious and we had a good variety with sushi, crab fried rice, tempura, and more.
This was my wife and I's first time dining with Dragonfly. It was definitely different from what we are used to dining. We didn't know going into it that the entire menu was tapas-style dining. We ordered a good variety of dishes. Although I know everything was tapas-size portion, I do wish that the portions were a little bit larger. We ended up ordering seconds of a few things. Overall, our experience was good. We would definitely return.
Always have delightful dining experience from this restaurant. Foods are to our liking. Waitress is always smiling.
Great food and service. They couldn’t have been nicer.
Tremendous variety that offered a creative menu that had something for everyone. My family loves sushi and this experience is in our top five. Server was friendly and food was delivered in an appropriate time.
Good food good staff
Excellent izakaya and sushi. Balanced cocktails. Excellent value during Happy Hour 5-7p.
It was awesome!
Great food, great atmosphere, great prices; a wonderful dining experience.
We were in Orlando for a business trip and a group of us was hoping to find a good sushi restaurant. The Hyatt concierge recommended Dragonfly so we decided to try it and we were all extremely glad that we did. They were very accommodating for our group which grew to 11 people but most importantly the food quality went beyond our expectations. We picked the Chef's Choice option and all of the sushi rolls and sashimi were excellent. We highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious sushi!
Delicious food but mediocre service.
Beautiful restaurant that was probably half full on a Sunday evening. I've been before and was pretty shocked at how bad the service had gotten. We were first approached by a waiter named Chris, only to have him disappear. We were then helped by a lovely young woman who's name I couldn't tell you because everything she said to us was inaudible. The service was slow but the food was delicious. Maybe we just got a new server on a slow night. Still, I'll be back.
We love this place!
I went to dinner with a close friend of mine for a special night out, as he’s embarking on his journey into sushi. I made the reservation and spoke with David, the manager of the restaurant, and decided to take a trip to the wild side and put the decision of what we we’re going to eat in the hands of the chef, also known as Omakase. We had several incredible courses, from winter vegetables to fantastic nigiri, and had two one-of-a-kind rolls made for my friend and me. The best dish of the night was the duck breast, smoked for a week and accompanied by an ume plum reduction and sauce. It was quite memorable, and we had such an awesome time. I highly recommend trying out the Omakase. It provides you with a sense of trust in the chef and you can relax and just eat what’s put in front of you. It’s especially good for adventurous types who have a hard time nailing down what to order. It made for an incredible evening, and I can’t wait to come back for more!
Sushi at a higher level. Foodie + sushi = Dragonfly. The dishes are more unique, everything is just a little different all in a good way. Really nice wine list too, good price ranges available.
As usual, we were not disappointed with our dining experience at Dragonfly... service was attentive, knowledgeable and personal. Food was amazing.
Food was delicious and service was top notch! We can’t wait to go back.
Always a fantastic experience. Andrew took amazing care of us and was able to recommend great things. Can't wait for our next visit.
Service was slow. Took 15-20 minutes to get a server to take our drink order and bring drinks. Food was excellent.
I celebrated my anniversary here and had an amazing time. The co-owner of the restaurant was very nice and made sure my experience was a great one. I’d definitely recommend this place!
Went for Valentine's Day dinner. The food was incredible. Service was fast, friendly, and all the staff was very knowledgeable about the menu. They even had someone coming around to take photos of couples there celebrating. Fantastic experience! The restaurant itself has a very composed feel and the music playing was very western. It makes the ambiance more generic American than Japanese. Maybe fusion? In any case, it didn't feel genuine hence the one less star there.
This place is Always good !
Sat at Sushi bar. It was a wonder watching the chefs. Staff was young, but well trained and extremely friendly.
