Was not what we expected. Went there on a recommendation from a friend for a milestone birthday. Was expecting a level of service and quality of food found at Ruth’s Chris, Capital Grille and Fleming’s. Food was ok, nothing special and service was mediocre for the pricing of the menu. Would go back and try again for a more casual experience, but not for a “special occasion “.
Great food, great service. Very "energetic" noise level, so conversation is very difficult.
Great menu, food was excellent. The hostess was welcoming. Manager checked on us. Waitress forgot to refill our waters.
My Dad lives in Europe, and every time he visits, he insists on going here for dinner - delicious!! The owner and staff treat you like family; we love it here 😊
I ordered a steak medium rare and it came back mooing. My girlfriend ordered it medium and it came back rare at best. Everything else was good.
Service wasn’t great, waitress was painfully slow. Food was good as always. Love eating here, but there are better values out there.
Great food as always!
We chose DK for Valentines Day dinner and so glad we did! My hangar steak was perfect and my husband’s fried chicken was delicious. Our server, Waylon, was attentive without being overbearing... we never felt rushed and had a very relaxing evening. We had not been to DK for quite a while but we will be back again soon.
Went for Valentine’s Day expecting a romantic dinner. Partially my fault since this was out first DK visit. I didn’t really expect it to be so loud & ‘70s arena rock isn’t the most romantic music. There was no acknowledgement that it was Valentine’s Day & it felt like any other nite. That said, the food & service was great. We’d probably come back but not for a special occasion.
My husband and I dined here on Valentine's Day night. Both of us got a caeser salad, a NY strip, and sides. We LOVED the caesers. Using the sunflower seeds for crunch is a great idea. Both of our steaks were very tasty, but had a lot of fat on them. I would guess that about 4 ounces of the 12 ounces was fat. This was not expected, especially since both had sauce. I got the cauliflower/spinach special and did not like it.. the cauliflower arrived in big chunks and was not cooked through well enough. My husband liked his seasoned fries. Service was good.
Food was very fresh and delicious
My husband and I went for Valentine's day and we will definitely be back.
We had 6pm Rez. Seated promptly. Waiter was prompt and knowledgeable of days specials. Calamari was served promptly but a bit cold & soggy as if a large batch prepared earlier. Wife’s chicken entree was excellent, my lamb special was warm but edible. Cocktails were perfect, wine was perfect. Dessert was excellent. Very loud. Overall good experience.
My wife loves the mushroom ravioli and their fried chicken is superb. We shared a coconut creek pie for dessert that was also excellent. They have a nice local craft beer selection, too. Service is attentive but not intrusive. It is conveniently located in downtown Canton.
Food is always on point, and delicious. Staff is excellent, polite, and quick to help with anything you need. I do recommend hopping on open table to make a reservation, as it will have a wait if you just walk up on a Friday/Saturday night. Enjoy!
Dinner out with my sister and brother in law. Great experience, fantastic food, and phenomenal service.
Food is always top notch. Never a disappointment.
Very unique dishes, and the specials were just as amazing. Portions were a little on the small side, but then again, although we're on the small side, we're big eaters. 😁 Overall, kudo's.
Love this place. All is great.... fav for dessert is peanut butter pie aka Canton crack!!
Service area located in the dining area..distractingly
It was our anniversary. We invited our daughter and son-in-law to join us. I told the restaurant it was our anniversary dinner prior. They didn’t do anything special.
Game options every week are worth the all by themselves. This is a cool gem tucked away in Cantin Ga.
We have eaten at DTK many times and thoroughly enjoy it. This time around it was a little disappointing. I had the short ribs for the first time and they were a little on the chewy/fatty side. One of us had the New York Strip which was sent back because it wasn’t hot. Even when it came back it wasn’t very hot and a little on the chewy side. The root vegetables had an excellent flavor but were also not hot.
Can’t remember the soup special but it was excellent. Love the upstairs seating but I think everything is cooked downstairs and likely the reason the food wasn’t very hot.
Would I go back? Yes but I wouldn’t have the short ribs.
This is my second time to this restaurant. I really enjoyed my food. But it was pretty noisy. The first time we came, we sat upstairs. This time we were down and it seemed so much louder. I feel I may be more sensitive to the noise since I have a hearing issue. I felt left out of the conversation at our table. Next time I will request upstairs. Very nice wait staff. Beautiful food presentation, and it was delish! We will be back! Nice job!
We had a fabulous dinner! Service and food were dynamic. Loved they didn’t rush us. Food came in perfect timing so could enjoy company. Highly recommend.
Good service and very good food. The price was higher than I wanted to pay but that is only my opinion.
Went out with my wife for our 2nd Anniversary. Great service and great food!
Downtown Kitchen is absolutely an amazing. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. The fried green tomatoes are an absolute must. The filet is also very great. Amazing taste!
JR is the best bar keep in Cherokee County, maybe ATL, maybe all of GA!
Been to DTK many times and first time upstairs. Loved it. A lot quieter than downstairs. Food was good as usual but had to send the Appetizer (Calamari) back. It was as tough and stringy as can be. Server offered to replace it but I couldn’t imagine why a new batch would be better. Disappointing that it was our second choice. They were out of Oysters.
All that said, DTK is one of our two favorite restaurants in downtown Canton.
Very good food and service. Reserved a table and we were seated promptly.
Great everything except the noise level. Our server (Kalene I think) was knowlegable, friendly and efficient. evryone enjoyed their meal and we ill return. The cauliflour soup was exceptioal.
Great food. Great service.
Sat upstairs for a party of 6. Service started a little slow, but picked up during our visit. Food and drinks were good as always.
I used to love this place! Our Christmas Eve meal was not great. Service was slow. My fiancé and his father said they could have gotten a better steak at Texas rd house.
Christmas Eve dinner with the kids, $220. For the 3 of us and it was worth it. Kids enjoyed the filet, me the chicken and ....it’s always good! AJK
Christmas Eve and it was a very nice experience!
pleasant but nothing special; service was adequate but not attentive
The food is always excellent and the staff is accommodating. This is our 1st choice when we want to have a nice dinner in Canton.
