Made an 11am reservation for brunch for 5 people and had to wait about 20 mins for the downstairs area to open up, but other than that the food was great, waiter was very attentive, atmosphere was lively and overall had a great time! Would definitely go again.
Our server, Ryan or Bryan was excellent snd made the whole experience top notch! Food was good and plentiful and noise level was fine!
Appetizer and dinner were brought out at same exact time so we barely ate appetizer. It took forever to order drinks from our waitress
Wonderful company dinner with great food!
The food and service was delicious! The 2 top tables are very close together and both tables on both sides of us were very loud. One complained multiples times and to no fault of the restaurant, just made the experience a bit annoying.
The margaritas were great and that covers a lot of sins. Menu looked impressive but food quality average. Unpleasantly noisy.
We had a 5pm reservation, however, the downstairs seating area where we were to dine was not ready at 5pm and we had to wait. This was rather strange as this is a restaurant in Times Square and they should have been prepared. We had a large cluster of people waiting for seating upstairs and then had to wait once again when finally sent downstairs. Not ideal, especially when you have children with you, which we did.
Horrible Awful Staff! Unbelievably RUDE! Food was awful, drinks were awful. When I asked to see the manager he couldn’t be bothered!
Great location and fun atmosphere but food was just ok.
Food took longer than usual and came out cold.
We booked through open table for 12.30pm and our waiter was sweet but missed one of our appetizers. Main course took ages to be served to our party of 8. They seated a 2 top next to us which always amazes me who of course asked to be moved later. There was a table that they could have seated at prior to the move. My shrimp quesadilla was lukewarm and the rice and beans too. Later my guests told me that there food was not warm but they were all conscious of having to get back to work. I know you were busy but was rather disappointed as were treating my colleagues as a thanks for their years of service. However, good news we will back hoping this was just a bump that restaurants sometimes get.
Great atmosphere, busy but good service.Food very good and great location on Times Square.
We ordered the guacamole as an app but the first one they made was super salty and then by the time the second came the food was already out. They made a mistake in my dinner order so then I had to wait again for the steak Asada. Finally after everyone else was done they brought me my meal. The meat was super chewy. Could hardly eat it. And finally the bathrooms were an absolute atrocity!!!
Small plates and tacos were the best. Limited selection due to dinner but on a Sunday
Good brunch in the Times Square area. Not crowded or noisy at noon on a Sunday! Great guacamole, good Mexican brunch dishes.
Ordered Mexican street corn and the waiter never brought it because he forgot to put it in. Did not ask if we still wanted it. Also was not attentive to our table. I asked for a brownie Sunday dessert with sorbet and he only brought us sorbet. Like the Dos Caminos Chelsea location, don't know if I'll come back to the Time Square one ever again.
Food was excellent! Waiter service was very good! Very convenient if your going to a Broadway Show... the only reason why I did not give the service 5 stars is because of the hostess.. She was not very friendly and acted as if we were bothering her by being there...
Was not impressed. The server was horrible. The runner would put the food down on the table and the order was wrong. Then she never gave us utensils so we sat there looking at our meal until she brought the forks/knives... Not worth it
Met with friends and our evening was awesome. From the moment we got there to the moment we left the service was great!! Food was great too!
Came in for lunch. The queso is really awesome. I got the plate with 8 tacos which is enough for two and they were all awesome!
Great Mexican in Time Square.
Really enjoyed it! Close to theater district.
We came in rushing for a show. Our server was awesome and made sure we had drinks right away and had the food come out in plenty of time for us to relax eat our food and get to the theater on time. Heart healthy/delicious options were on the menu to enjoy. Great find!
Dos Caminos was recommended and didn't let us down. Very authentic restaurant and food was great. Service was good and we didn't feel rushed in any way. A great choice for an evening meal and would certainly return the next time we visit New York.
Our family visit to Dos Caminos Times Square was a delight! It was on our list of restaurants to visit during our Thanksgiving 2018 NYC trip and as fate would have it, it was literally across the street from our hotel. We made a Sunday brunch reservation and arrived hungry! We started with a fresh and scrumptious guacamole and chips and my wife and I ordered cocktails as well. She loved the Bottomless Screwdrivers (thankfully we had the rest of the day to walk everything off 😉) and I enjoyed my Old Fashioned, which I ordered when my original order was unavailable. Breakfast portions were hot, ample and VERY tasty! My oldest son devoured his Pambazo Burrito and my wife absolutely loved the Chilaquiles Verdes. My only quibble is the length of time it took for some of the drinks and meals to arrive, our server apologized profusely for the delays, we suspected that the kitchen was short-staffed, because they got a ton of covers in the door right after we arrived. We’re sorry we didn’t get a second meal in before we left town. Highly recommended!!!
This place is so yummy. I really enjoy dinner here between broadway shows. Margaritas yum. Tacos more yum. Go here!
Food was delicious..... the waiter might have been a bit more attentive. Enjoyed thenexperience and it’s in a great location for theater going
Don't miss this Mexican epicurean Gem conveniently within Times Square...great service, food, and FUN!
We arrived, found the hostess stand and stood in line. When we reached the front we were told reservations go downstairs - argh, what a waste to wait in line.
Our table in the restaurant was tucked in a corner which was nice until we needed something and figured out it was tricky to catch our server. He was friendly but did forgot a couple requests for refills which we ended up going without. Not a huge deal but did lower my score a bit.
There was a computer problem in the restaurant and the poor girl at the front was frantic. They were also very understaffed. There were three adults and one child in our group. The adults were served om 45 minutes and my poor granddaughter waited another 15 for her child meal.
Food was delicious...service was excellent!
It was great, food staff and location.
Awesome food and our server was fantastic.
Excellent restaurant, I look forward to going back in the future. I've been recommending it to friends already. Great pre and post Broadway stop for dinner!
Ambiente latino, buena comida, variedad en el menú. Una muy buena opción en nueva York
We've been to this restaurant numerous times after broadway shows. This time we were there after a show for my daughter's birthday (her request). The service was absolutely the worst we've ever encountered. The waiter was not attentive at all. We ordered our drinks and our food and didn't see him again until we had to ask to have our dishes cleared and ask to see a dessert menu and a check (wanted to get the kids home). He came back 20 minutes later. Further, no one came to refill our water glasses (I had to get up, find the water pitcher, and refill myself while the table next to us laughed). We will not be going back for some time.
Horrible service. Completely ignored for 15 minutes. Walked out
Food was good. Service was a bit slow and the tables seemed to be tight fitted together. It was a great location in Times Square. Definitely make a reservation if going.
I visited Dos Caminos for a pre-show dinner. The positive side: Service was great. Food was very good. They accommodated us when we requested to be moved to a different floor. The waiter and waitress were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Constructive feedback: The place was ridden with litter all over the floors. Fruit flies were everywhere on the first floor prompting us to request a different table on a different floor. I was very disappointed with the first impression.
