Dos Caminos - Times Square

Great food and a really tasty sangria (not too sweet). Our server gave us his favorite drink recommendations which was helpful. Great ambiance/vibe downstairs (away from Times Square). However it got VERY smoky as it got further into the dinner our...more fajitas were being served and there was poor circulation from the kitchen area. Had to leave quickly to get fresh air.
Great service from Josh! He went out of his way to help us with my daughters food allergies and make our friend’s birthday special. Great guacamole and margaritas.
Great Mexican food in a lively atmosphere. During busy times, it can be a bit loud and frenetic but the food is so fabulous, it more than makes up for it. Try the homemade guacamole was delicious as were both of our entrees. Definitely worth a visit!
great food and drinks. We sat downstairs and it felt a little claustrophobic but otherwise everything was just as expected.
Everything was delicious..especially the margaritas!!!
Absolutely delicious food (get the guacamole!!) and the downstairs seating is intimate. It doesn’t feel like you’re in Times Square. I took some clients and they had a blast - even the native New Yorkers! :)
The food is amazing and their brunch deals are off the hook. So glad we went here
Love Dos Caminos on Third and also in Flatiron but the Times Square is awful. Lousy service, crazy loud and horrible set up. Waited 30 minutes after being seated to get water and our drink order taken and then drinks, entrees and chips came all at once. Waiter was a joke and cursed us under his breathe while running our cards. Never again.
The waitress messed up our bill. She ending up charging the person who had an individual check $250 which was the whole bill for the rest of our group. I have never experienced anything like this before.
My daughter and I really enjoyed our lunch at Dos Caminos, so glad we came here! We were seated downstairs, which is quieter and has a whole different vibe than the upstairs. Both the upstairs and downstairs would be fun, but I'm glad we were downstairs. Service was friendly, helpful and gave just the right amount of attention. Food was super yummy, definitely plan on eating here again! Thank you!!
Great place for pre-theater meal. Fresh guacamole is good
Food is decent. Service not so much
We made reservations before a broadway show. They sat us right away. Our server couldn’t have been nicer. She was very attentive. It took a long time to get our entrees. I had read some reviews that made it seem like this was pretty normal for the area so I thought nothing of it, but our server brought us free margaritas to apologize for the wait. Such a pleasant and unexpected treat.
The guacamole and chips were excellent. The tacos were very small, but good. The fajitas were a good size for my wife and daughter to share without leftovers. Everything could’ve been a little larger portions to make it worth the money and fill us up a bit more.
We on the main floor and the lights flashing from Times Square were a bit much at times - kinda ruined the ambience for those of us not sitting AT the windows.
Great food, friendly staff. We ate in the downstairs dining no room and it was quieter. Upstairs was a little crazy. I would recommend to friends and would return.
We celebrated my son's birthday and we all had a wonderful time. They allowed me to bring a cake to help with the celebration, very accommodating.
1st time; Great food, great service, waiter was great checking on us as well. 5 starts and would go again
Our food was good as always! The kitchen does a great job preparing and cooking the food. Our server was overwhelmed with the few tables he had. I wish the service was a lot better from the server but the food was great!
Horrible . Ordered steak tacos and it was so bad we returned it. Service terrible . Don’t go
Excellent food and service.
Great food. Bartender and waitress couldn't have been nicer. We had a great time! Also really appreciated that our waitress moved us along so we wouldn't miss our show...but did it in the nicest way!
Had my first brunch experience at Dos Caminos recently -- I brought some friends from out of town, and we all LOVED it! The bottomless mimosas were a great deal, and arrived quickly, and the food was DELICIOUS. I can't wait to make this place a brunch staple!
Excellent food. Dining room was very noisy and we could barely hear ourselves talk.
Excellent place for dinner in the Times Square area. Food was good, drinks had a good variety. Prices were a bit aggressive, but then again it is TSquare ....
Very loud!!! Guests were rowdy. Same food, but the coffee and food were served cold. Other Dos Caminos locations are better overall.
Love the restaurant but it was freezing!!
Excellent service, very accommodating from the minute you sit down to the minute you leave and food was fantastic. Authentic and the Chile Rellenos was outstanding. Would definitely recommend.
We ordered bottomless brunch. Waitress never came back in order for us to actually get our drinks. Another meal was added onto our final check. Took another 10 minutes to get that fixed. Left a cash tip and apparently that wasn’t enough because someone added $5 to our final bill when it was cleared by the bank.
We absolutely loved Dos Caminos! The food was absolutely incredible (I ordered the queso fundido, chicken quesadillas, and the cornbread side). The portions are all very large and very delicious. The only reason I am giving this restaurant 4 stars instead of 5 is the service. Service was very slow, and our waiter was MIA most of the time we were there. Other than that, I highly recommend.
Dos Caminos has great margaritas and great food!
Amazing!! Everything from the Guacamole to the Fajiata was delicious!
Good. Drinks are good and prices are good.
I’ve been to two other Dos Caminos. This one was nice and large. Our waiter Billy was excellent. I ordered the Mexican French Toast, which I’d had before and loved but this time I was disappointed. They were soggy and the bananas super mushy. Also, the syrup was extra runny and had a weird taste. The guac and chips were really good as was my drink. Would definitely go again just not order the Mexican French Toast.
Ok, ok, it’s Time Sq tourist, but the brunch vibe and menu is sort of awesome. And the food is much better than the location would suggest. What was cool was that the brunch entrees come with coffee AND a cocktail included. A great deal, good food, and a good vibe— despite the tourist location.
Only if they can tolerate the very loud music
I have been there two times and each time the waiter forgot to bring one of the things I ordered
Service was excellent, food was great, amazing family environment and experience.
Enjoyed a great pre-theater meal with my aunt. Great food and service - shout out to Jessica!
Guacamole was amazing. The service was fabulous and they went at our pace. The fajitas were awesome.
The food is delicious, especially the guacamole which is made fresh, and there is a nice selection. Terrific, tasty margaritas. The service is first rate.
