I came in alone for a drink and some tacos. I was disappointed when their Happy hour menu wasn’t available. Happy hour is advertised on their website.
I love this place and was so happy to be back. Everything was great.
I'd say avoid this branch of Dos Caminos if you can. The only upside this restaurant has is it's at Times Square. The quality is appalling for the price they charge. Rice was hard, drinks were made from artificial syrups, otherwise food was dry and bland at most. For the price, you'd be better off eating at some other upscale restaurant.
Did not love it. At all. I have visited the location on park and it was a far better experience overall. The manager ? On duty at the Times Square location seemed to be in a mood. The food was cold and not at all appetizing. I had the surf and turf tacos and my friend had the carnitas tacos. Cold. Only ate one. The ambience felt rushed. We were seated upstairs by the door so it was a bit chilly as people walked in and out. I definitely won’t visit this location again, I’ll stick to the one on park. Everyone there was extremely friendly and accommodating the exact opposite here. I do want to mention the server we had was kind. I also over heard the manager? Tell two ladies they had to sit, dine and order drinks to use the restroom... yikes.
Fun place for a night out and good food too! Service is very attentive and provides good recommendations.
Server was very friendly. Drinks were great. Food came out slightly cold, like it had been sitting around for awhile. Overall the ambience was good.
Had a great time before covid here. We have come here 3 times before covid. Our last visit left a bad taste with us. food was cold and undercooked. The food quality was definitely not the same. Nonetheless hope this comes back to its original state soon. Understand with all this going on.
Waiter was attentive, service was Excellent!
We had an excellent meal. Service was wonderful and the drinks were fabulous. I would definitely eat here again the next time we are in NYC.
It was amazing, the margaritas are really good!!!! make sure you get a shot of tequila 8 really smooth
Excellent food, stellar service, cheery and ample outdoor seating.
Good food good service. Will recomend this restaurant
I’ve dined at Dos Caminos twice in the past, I absolutely loved the food and service. This time around it was a little different. I am going to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt due to the whole COVID- 19 situation, but the food wasn’t up to par. It definitely wasn’t worth the $180 I dropped on the bill. We ordered two Skirt Steak Asadas and two Pollos in Cacahuate. Despite both these dishes being our main choice the past times we’ve dined, we were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Both these dishes are normally filled with a lot of flavor, ranging from tangy, sweet and spicy. So to much of our dismay, we were brought flavorless chicken and steak. Despite that, service was amazing, as we are more than aware that the servers aren’t responsible for the quality of the food. Hopefully the restaurant is able to go back to the quality of food it use to provide.
Amazing service as always. Love these guys. I hope they bring back the brunch menu soon. I miss my French toast and bottomless mimosas:)
We love this place and we admire the staff. They’re pleasant and hardworking and they make the dining experience so comfortable. Great food, festive atmosphere. Thank you for the food, the drinks, and the chance to relax at an outdoor table.
Because of COVID the tables are on the side of the street but like on the sidewalk and there are people walking by and car exhaust. Very loud. Dos Caminos is always great but obviously COVID ruined the ambiance.
Wont go back to this location. It’s outdoor dining but there were homeless people running around this block constantly. One guy walked down the block screaming and he shouted at our table. Scared he might have spread covid to us. We had taken off our masks to eat. With all this going on, staff was not very attentive. The inside of the restaurant looked nice. So this probably isn’t normal but I wont be back.
Slow service
We were so impressed by the the professionalism of the staff. They did such a nice job of handling customers and maintaining proper distance and appropriate masking while working hard and serving delicious food and excellent drinks. We love Dos Caminos and admire how they’re handling this unusual, scary, difficult time in history. Food service has never been more difficult or more heroic and we appreciate you.
The food was absolutely delicious. The appetizers and main course were yummy. The waitress and the boss were extremely nice. 10/10. Would definitely go back
Josh was great
The food was delicious. Everything was clean.
Gratuity fees are way to high and service was very nonchalant
Amazing experience at the patio dining.
Current pandemic has not put even a dent on service and food quality! Still top notch!
It was nice being able to dine again even if it’s outside. The food was really good and the service was good as well.
Fajitas outside in Times Square. It was awesome.
Interesting to eat here during the pandemic. The restaurant was clearly following the guidelines. The staff was very kind and welcoming and had good recommendations.
Outstanding new menu items, extremely helpful waitstaff - very happy and looking forward to coming back very soon!
Service ((William)was fun, efficient and knowledgeable. The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks good. I’ll be back!!
Good for group dining, not really big portions for sharing. Not enough vegan options.
Went to the one in the meat packing district, and it was much better, next time we will go there, our server was excellent tho!
The margaritas and cornbread were amazing
Delicious meal and friendly service.
Chicken was very dry. Services was slow. Very very busy.
Good food always.. very touristy as expected for the area .. had tix to broadway so can’t go wrong with Dos Caminos
The guacamole was quite good. Known for the “#1 voted margarita in Manhattan” - tasty and different! We got the branzino which was similar to deconstructed fish tacos. We also got the Camarones en Cazuela which is similar to a paella! All the food was delicious and would definitely go back. Close to all the Theaters so convenient for a drink & bite to eat before or after. Great happy hour options for after work as well.
My daughter’s birthday
it is great to have drinks with friends after work
Pretty busy Monday evening came in with some friends for dinner. Our server was nice, but not as attentive as we hoped. Prices are right up there for the tourists and two of the entrees we ordered were down right cold. The server ended up swapping out one of the entrees but still charged us for them. Not returning anytime soon.
