Margaritas were not good at all. Food was OK but nothing impressive. We reserved for birthday and they didn’t do anything special.
Ultimately, it was fine but nothing special. The service was decent, but it was difficult to get a second drink. The food was decent and the portions were plentiful.
Fun, convenient so for a pre theatre meal. Good Mexican food and nice bar menu
Food was just average at best. Ordered chicken tacos -way to spicy -could barely eat it. Ordered guacamole-was very watered down -definitely not worth the price.
Always the best service and food! A great new breakfast experience!
Food was fabulous. Service was super slow and not attentive.
The hostess was obnoxious when we walked in and told us there were no tables available
The food is always excellent here as is the atmosphere.
Great brunch at an amazing price, with one drink included!
I had the salmon a la plancha and it was incredible. The margaritas are served in a sensible glass without stem that don't make you feel like you are at Disneyland - propers on that. We asked for and got a quiet table (my husband has played guitar too long and too loud for decades...so...). Wait staff was very friendly and perfectly attendant without being a bother. Very nice experience and good value on Times Square (which we usually avoid like the plague).
Not the place I used to go to. No vibe. Quiet. Tuna was bad. Guac great. Good spot. Used to be great.
It was a fairly good experience. The hostesses didn't communicate well, but the service staff is great.
The guacamole is great, and the service was friendly and fast. A great location close to the theaters!
The service continues to be stellar. The wait staff is the best in the area.
Food was good and service was friendly. Had the Power Lunch. However, hey brought out each successive dish without checking whether I was finished or even close to finishing the previous one. Okay he soup came after I’d barely touched my guacamole, and the enchiladas came out before I’d even gotten halfway through the soup! Server was rather nonchalant about that.
Great atmosphere… food like little pricey … portion sizes are way smaller
Get the nachos & add the street corn. They were the star of our meal.
The Queso Fundido (melted cheese with pickled jalapenos) was barely editable as were the corn tortillas.
I only order the Queso and the chips & Guac. And my bill was over $30. Yes - it's NYC -- but I was highly disappointed.
I will NOT being going back.
The environment was really nice and the restaurant was beautiful. The food was really good and had offered a new take on traditional meals. Would recommend.
The bartender was nice and attentive, the mature D was a bit annoyed with too many questions. It was our first time in this restaurant.
The food is not Mexican - it’s MALL FOOD!
Ambiance is expected since it is in Times Square. Is it good for tourist - MAYBE not unless you are from Mexico - the food is embarrassing.
The food wasn’t great, it’s a cute place but not worth the price of each plate
Place seemed dingy. They sat us downstairs in the lounge area and there was a bad smell. They had fake plants that were filthy and dusty. Food was mediocre. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning.
Wait staff were very slow. Only Landry’s restaurant to not give refills on soda. Very expensive soda in small quantity and no refill.
It was alright. I went for the experience. The food wasn’t amazing but it was decent. If you want good tacos, go to Los Tacos No.1
Very hot downstairs
Amazing! Food and drinks were great! Service was great as well! Try to book a reservation to avoid waiting for a table.
We came to Dos Caminos a few years ago as we live in Toronto - it was great then but we were extremely disappointed during our recent visit. I would not eat here again.
Guac and steak fajitas were de-lish!!!
So disappointing. Was so excited for great Mexican food. Guqcamole had zero
Flavor. Beans were vile.
Loved the spicy fresh guacamole!!
Water was preoccupied with a larger table, ie larger tip, and never came back after ordering. Only returned to bring check. Food sat under heat laps and dried out. Drinks are expensive and small. Little to no alcohol in drinks. Won't go back, many more restaurants in New York.
It's a nice place and great service
The guacamole is always extraordinary. Drinks are really good. Food is delicious. Never disappoints.
Wonderful restaurant in the Theatre District! Delicious and attractively served food! Polite and attentive service. The chef came out to check with us on the taste of the food.
The Restaurant Week menu had great choices and the value of the dishes was worth the fixed price. The dining area was immaculate and so were the restrooms. I would definitely recommend Dos Caminos and will be returning myself as well.
My waiter took 40 minutes to get us water. Don’t come to thirsty.
The manager doesn't have a clue of customer service, I entered the restaurant with my wife and (5 years old) daughter, he asked me, do you have a reservation? I said no, then he said, well the timeframe for a table is 30 min, My daughter was hungry so I said ok, thank you and left, right after I open the website to look for restaurant and found out that they were doing reservations right away, I book a table and came back, he looked me like What? I said I have a reservation now, he provide me with a table, we ordered the food. The food was horrible, no taste even my daughter said why is the food so bad? I send the food back, the manager came to our table, didn't even apologize, took the chargers off the bill and nothing else was done.
This is the worse experience ever. I hope that this helps and hope also to heard from somebody shortly.
The best customer experience service i have experienced in a long time. Our waiter was tentative, super engaging and informative, bartender was fantastic and even the security guy at the door gave me a heads up that my purse was in zippered. I was amazed to the level of service
Great meal. Super attentive staff.
Disappointed. Overpriced. Food just ok. Portions small. My men left hungry. Tacos small. Very loud. To be fair, guacamole was delicious, service exceptional, but honestly not worth it when you consider the endless choices in NYC.
